Season 19 Live Feed Discussion

Christmas is pretty popular, from what I've seen, got a pretty crappy Temptation, and is no longer eligible for another. Not to mention the fact that Cody vs. Paul has been the main storyline this season, and this might put the final nail in that coffin.   Yeah....totally fixed.  Let's be clear - production cares about story, buzz and ratings. They don't give a shit about individual HGs.

Well, I don't think this was handed to her. 

But lets not pretend BB production are above tailoring the show to their pets. Paul is clearly on the receiving end of this year

Christmas told Paul she had no idea who got the curses. Since she told him she got the Temptation, I don't think she would lie about the curses.

They just finished. Josh/Alex are the noms, as expected. Ramsey nominated himself to complete his curse.

ETA: Even though it would be kinda stupid, I hope this week's curse is just being have nots because I think it's kind of ridiculous if it's something bigger and they let the Temptation winner choose who got it.

Ramses did nominate himself. Paul later had him in the wave rooms and tells him he has to throw the veto . He can't won because there is no replacement nom. He later tells Dom he can't do that. He's on the block ! It's scary to throw the POV. Of course this years phrase "we got you" is thrown .

Dominique, while she does like Paul, trusts him about as much as Cody, Jessica, Kevin, Jason, Alex, and Ramses do: not at all.  I'm not surprised she encouraged Ramses to disregard what he told him.

As for whom she'd prefer to go, Dominique has been all in on Cody going since he fucked up with his own alliance last week.  Judging from her reaction to that, I don't think she'd mind at all if he got backdoored.

This may have been discussed.  If Cody is chosen to play veto Christmas can take trade places so that may turn out to be a very useful advantage.

Probably Josh. Jessica might vote to evict Alex, but I wonder if she's more pissed at Josh, enough to vote him out. Jason/Ramses definitely vote to evict Josh, as does Cody. I think it depends on if Christmas' side think of him more of a liability than Alex. If he freaks out or if they think he's too much work to keep around, he'd go.

Well, it'd be smart to take out Alex, so ... yes, they would vote out Josh.

Matt is telling everyone that Cody said he wanted to keep someone (I don't know who) around so they could take out Raven and Jessica. Everyone was aghast, saying he's heartless. Matt's like 'you want someone to take out a girl with two terminal illnesses.' What, are the rest of you just gonna let Raven and her 'terminal illness' get to the end and win or something?

Well, to amend my prior thought, the BB16 women did get it.  Unfortunately, they stood no chance with Christine and Nicole, who seemed determined to be that dumb, in the house.  And in the case of the latter, she did the exact same thing in BB18 and should be counting her lucky stars that she got away with it that time.

As for Alex, I'd say Jessica actually has her beat in that department, doesn't she?

I really need more info on Raven's situation. Matt said she has two terminal illnesses. We know about the gasteropasis, which I don't think is a terminal illness in the way Raven is describing. What's the other one? Pre-show I only saw the gasteropasis mentioned and that was only in one interview. 

ETA: So, I went looking for info on this (because I have no life) and I found a facebook post from Raven that said she has 'CIP with gasteropasis' so I looked up CIP and found this.

I hate to see Josh go for reasons of which I am not proud.  I want to see a fight!  He can't make very far anyway do why not watch him throw a punch?  

 Alex has potential to align with others who become disgruntled and do something.  Cody out is good.  He adds nothing interesting and I don't like him.  Jessica without him could be interesting (or not).  Caution:  slow week ahead.

Nothing to add as I don't subscribe to the feeds, but typically watch BBAD. Really just wanted to thank those of you that do & keep us updated. Really?  A veto comp is a veto comp and not in the mix, I would think.  So Cody is a toad, he will be able to compete in veto if drawn I would think.  We will hear at some point but this being in question is putting a serious dent in my glee.

I think she can, the reward is one thing and the curse is something else. Kevin got the $ and curse is Paul on the house. Paul got the safety and Rames got the curse. Xmas gets to take someone's spot in veto (if she's not chosen) and Cody/Jess/Josh got the curse.

It's supposed to be a reward for herself, to play in a veto when you weren't picked for it. But of course she'll use it as a way to just get someone out and not as safety for herself because her foot is broken and she can barely play anything anyways.

I know this is not a normal thing to say but how is it offensive?  

It is a false perception and insulting. Yes. It makes him a jerk as negative generalization is never a good idea, but  hoping for serious backlash over that comment is a bit of an overreaction

The table manners fascinate me.  Dom is pushing food onto her fork with her knife and putting into her mouth over hand.  This is new for her.   Yes I am a manners snob, don't judge.   I raised my boys to be able to eat be able to eat with the queen.  I hate the queen and all that bull shit, but they probably good have manners.  I had cloth napkins and all.  They do that with their families now and it makes me proud.

Let's say that if Jason is chosen for the veto.  If Christmas wanted to take his place - Jason would have been cursed twice.  I think that's why Ramse was exempt from the 2nd curse - he already has a curse.   Part of the reward was Christmas picking the 3 names for the curse.   She still has a reward of vetoing someone i.e., like Mark if he is chosen to play.

Without shame I will say that Ramses winning veto and leaving Josh and Alex on the block could cause a Josh to have a major meltdown and I am on board for that.

I don't get the big deal about this is. He was a Marine, not a surprise girls would want him. He was stationed and moved around, who knows how many female friends he even tried to make. It's not like they have so much free time.  It could be 5 for all we know. This seems like a stupid reason just to claim an outcry.

I think though say Christmas wanted Ramsey's veto spot she could take it.  The den of temptation  reward is different than the curse.  Ramsey got the curse from Paul and couldn't get the curse again this week from Christmas. But the "reward" is on Christmas, it's her getting to take someone's spot. It's not someone else being cursed.
