zxy556575 April 3, 2017 Share April 3, 2017 Episode title aside, is the show supposed to be an expose of actors having an overabundance of self regard but zero self control or respect for others? Megan, that director is a childish blowhard. Also, pulling out directly behind someone in car with shining headlights is a shit way to trail them. I would have left the Institute once I saw that the classroom had no chairs. Ain't nobody got time to sit on a pillow, mat, or backless stool for hours. 6 Link to comment
Guest April 3, 2017 Share April 3, 2017 I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the "reporter" Megan was talking to was a plant. I didn't see that coming. Megan and the director - ugh. He seemed like a jerk. And even if not, you have a $10 million contract- have a little self-control. Link to comment
PumpkinPK April 3, 2017 Share April 3, 2017 I was eager for this series, but it's just not very good or interesting. It doesn't help that I find the Megan actress so flat and boring. The second the lady in the institute initiated conversation I knew she was a plant. Don't care one bit about the director or the stupid play. I will give the show a few more chances, as I would like to find out what's really going on at the institute. 6 hours ago, Lord Donia said: Episode title aside, is the show supposed to be an expose of actors having an overabundance of self regard but zero self control or respect for others? Agreed and lol on all counts but the floor sitting, it's so beneficial for your health! I would love to be able to attend any class and not be stuck in a chair. 2 Link to comment

Although I come here to read everyone's opinions, in case I should try watching further. Guess not. 1 Link to comment
zxy556575 April 3, 2017 Author Share April 3, 2017 I'm a total quitter and give up on a lot of shows, but am still enjoying this. Soapy goodness that doesn't require good acting. 4 Link to comment
treeofdreams April 3, 2017 Share April 3, 2017 I couldn't care less about another woman-being-all-stupid-for-love story, but I am enjoying the Institute angle. They have set up a lot of storylines that leave me very interested to find out how they play out. 3 Link to comment
Guest April 3, 2017 Share April 3, 2017 I took it to mean she didn't want to open up and share anything because she is guarding herself from the Institute. However, she wanted them to think she was opening up, so she stole the story. Link to comment

Who was the sultry brunette who randomly showed up at Kyle's house? 1 Link to comment
Artsda April 4, 2017 Share April 4, 2017 Why does she not know about Hope yet? Shouldn't the other bff have told Megan the truth about the naked photo leak? Also Megan is already kissing other guys? I thought the dead baby story stealing was smart, but wouldn't Terrance have done his background homework on Megan? I feel like not being pregnant and not having a birth certificate for a child who died in the hospital would be something easy for him to find out doesn't exist. I bet he already knows she's lying. zxy556575 April 4, 2017 Author Share April 4, 2017 Going to the first class of an introductory self help course and being made to listen to strangers describe the most painful experience of their lives? Awkward! Also, Terence needs to get an office with non-glass walls if he regularly conducts secret meetings with his spies. 2 Link to comment
tanita April 4, 2017 Share April 4, 2017 (edited) Man, the level of acting displayed in this show among the woman besides Deanne is so low, I fell like half their scenes are seconds away from turning into porn. Or maybe it's the lame-ass dialog. Also, nicely done Megan, not giving them actual ammo to go after you at the Institute. Edited April 4, 2017 by tanita 1 Link to comment
candall April 5, 2017 Share April 5, 2017 I don't even like Megan and I still say, "Run, girl. Run now." Kyle might seem like a catch, but he has an 18-wheeler U-Haul of baggage--most of it stupid--including that creepy Institute. I wouldn't be good Institute material because when the Introductory Class leader started digging, my deepest darkest secrets would all start with F and end with You. Ponying up someone else's secret is the smartest thing I've seen Megan do on this whole show. 3 Link to comment
LakeGal April 6, 2017 Share April 6, 2017 Every episode I find myself wishing they had cast another actress to play Megan. I don't really like her and that takes me out of the plot. It is ridiculous that Megan's friend has still not let her in on the fact the other friend (Hope?) sent the photos. 3 Link to comment
Jillybean April 6, 2017 Share April 6, 2017 Not only another actress, but I wish they had written Megan in such a way that we could root for her. If both the role and the actress conveyed more vulnerability, I'd be more invested in the storyline. I have a tough time with shows that have no one to root for, and I eventually stop watching those shows. I'd like to root for Megan but they haven't given me any reason. 3 Link to comment

I agree with what you are saying but I think Terence's office is a lot like him. The office with all the windows gives people the impression that there is transparency and nothing is hidden but, we know that isn't the case. The same is true of Terence. All the followers think Terence is a good guy with nothing dark and evil to hide but we know that isn't the case. Atlanta April 6, 2017 Share April 6, 2017 (edited) Peper81, was that the actress he insulted to get her to cry? I'm not feeling Megan either. She may be a lovely person in RL, but on screen, the actress comes across as cold fish. At least I'm not having to watch her and Kyle constantly make out. I also want to feed her a pizza. SuzieQ April 9, 2017 Share April 9, 2017 I'm still liking it and looking forward to it. It's a guilty pleasure! I think I might be one of the few who likes Megan and I am anxious to find out more about Kyle's backstory. Link to comment
bichonblitz April 10, 2017 Share April 10, 2017 This show must have a very low wardrobe budget. It looks like they get the clothes and shoes from Target. There's just something so cheap about the entire production of the show. 2 Link to comment
