Maddow is going to be on five nights a week for the first 100 days of the new administration. 'Rachel Maddow Show' back daily; how she'll cover Round 2 Quote MSNBC fans are about to get a bigger dose of its marquee host: For the first 100 days of Trump's second presidency, "The Rachel Maddow Show," will revert to its former five-night-a-week schedule. <snip> Wagner will now travel the country to report "Trumpland: The First 100 Days" segments, to air across the network's schedule until May 1, when the current lineup is scheduled to resume. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/53991-msnbc/page/47/#findComment-8556350

I mean, she's great. But it feels like kind of a diss to Alex. "Hey, something important is happening. This is a job for ME." (I recognize that it's a good ratings decision, though.) 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/53991-msnbc/page/47/#findComment-8556368
possibilities Thursday at 05:26 PM Share Thursday at 05:26 PM I'd like to see 100 days of covering the resistance. Why not feature what Dems are doing? They didn't do that when Dems were in power, and now they're still not doing it. If we want anything other than a one party system, we should at least try to cover more than one point of view. You can't actually expect people to think about anything in a complex way if you only cover it simplistically. They sent reporters to diners in red states to find out what Trump voters were feeling all the time for the past several years. Why not send reporters to blue areas and interview Kamala supporters about how we feel? Or look at what organizing is happening? When there is activity on the right, it gets covered. But not so much when it's on the left. 3 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/53991-msnbc/page/47/#findComment-8556429
Kemper Thursday at 06:50 PM Share Thursday at 06:50 PM I like Alex Wagner a lot. Is Rachel taking her time slot? Or could it be Rachel's probable higher salary; I think Alex W had to take a cut in pay. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/53991-msnbc/page/47/#findComment-8556508

I thought Rachel's salary was reduced (which wouldn't be too painful due to it being very high already). 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/53991-msnbc/page/47/#findComment-8556622
