Sorry "Mutilated".

I remember Bouganvillea (spelling) from years ago.     Those plants have sharp, solid thorns that will rip you to shreds.     They would never have been hanging over my property for one day, and in the defendant's shoes, I would have chopped them off at the fence line years ago.

I disagree that there was any trespassing involved either.    I bet the gardeners had a small chain saw, and reached over the fence, and then when any branch started to fall, they ran like hell to keep from getting speared.

I bet the guy with the saw, and the guy pulling the rope to make sure the branches didn't fall on plaintiff's property were the new guys on the crew.   Not a job for the faint of heart.

This is the 'heart warming' case where the pit bull became inconvenient, so they dumped him at the animal shelter.

You could tell JJ despised them for this as well.  Who could do that to a dog after having it for a few years? The guy said it in the same tone that you'd use to describe dropping off an old couch at the Salvation Army

3 p.m. reruns-

Ex-Lover Caught Lying!-Plaintiff suing ex in a case about a vehicle sale, and sues for destruction of property.    Plaintiff put the truck in her name, but defendant claims that's a lie.   The two people got in a huge fight, defendant left, and took his stuff in the truck.    Defendant says he didn't take the truck, but took his jeep.   Plaintiff claims the man traded in the jeep, but it was different from the jeep he left in.   Defendant proves to be a liar about the jeep, and the truck.

I hate both of these litigants.  Carrying on like this in front of her kids is disgusting.     Defendant retracts his claim about not having the truck.   Plaintiff gets $800?  (my cable is being weird, so I'm not sure of the amount.   OK, I switched to the HD version of the channel so everything is clear again).

Get Out of Jail Rent Free!-Plaintiff is suing her daughter's boyfriend for unpaid rent, damages to her car, and moving expenses.   Plaintiff's daughter lived with ex-con boyfriend, who is unemployed, and daughter has been unemployed for 6-7 months, and went to rehab also.    Plaintiff is blaming the boyfriend for the daughter's drug use.  Plaintiff Mom is trying to blame everything with the daughter on the boyfriend, and the daughter's anxiety issues.

Plaintiff paid rent for a couple of months, while taking her granddaughter (the daughter is in court) to Europe, and when she returned, she plaintiff paid more rent.  Plaintiff also claims the car was damaged by the defendant while she was in Europe.      The daughter lives with Mom after rehab, after being evicted, but boyfriend is still dating the daughter.    Defendant claims the car window didn't raise, so he got parts from a junk yard to fix the window.     Plaintiff claims the defendant stole his daughter's prescription, so she ended up in rehab (that makes zero sense, but it's what she said).     Plaintiff also is whining about the fact that she had to move the furniture out of the apartment herself, without help from defendant, or granddaughter (There are a lot of moving companies, call one).

Plaintiff is told that the issues with the defendant are garbage, and it's sadly true, everything with the daughter isn't the defendant's fault, and plaintiff was glad to have him around when she took the granddaughter to Europe, and watch the daughter.  Zero for anyone.

Broken Neck DUI ?-(show description from my cable guide-A teen gets drunk, steals his girlfriend's car, and breaks his neck in a crash.)   Plaintiff Mom took in daughter's boyfriend into her house, and now she claims the boyfriend got drunk, stole her car, and wrecked it, and broke his neck.       The defendant is 19, girlfriend is 20, and defendant claims the booze was the mother's.      Plaintiff claims the booze came from the mother, and it's her fault that he wrecked the car and was injured.   Plaintiff Mom says the only time the defendant's father saw him was when he picked him up to get him to score pot for Dad.

The daughter, and defendant were shacking up in the plaintiff's house for almost two months (49 days to be exact).    Defendant claims the daughter, a friend, and the defendant were playing Beer Pong, and the beer came from a friend, but claims the plaintiff Mom gave them the booze money.

Defendant says the daughter asked the mother for money, and Spring (the daughter) gave the money to the defendant to buy cigarettes, and he took the car and wrecked it.   Spring now claims they were drinking hard liquor, not beer.   Nothing for anyone $0.

Communal Craziness?-Plaintiff is suing ex-boyfriend for unpaid bills, and her furniture. Apparently it was some kind of communal relationship.     Plaintiff moved out, and wanted her furniture.  Defendant says he actually moved out first, and doesn't have the plaintiff's furniture.    Plaintiff didn't even have the means to pick the furniture up anyway.

The plaintiff claims the woman who owned the house wouldn't let her come back either.  Plaintiff says the other woman, house owner, has the furniture, and defendant doesn't.  However, defendant only moved out for a couple of weeks, until the plaintiff was gone, and then he moved back in.   He now lives with some other woman for a couple of months at the time of the case.      Plaintiff didn't try to get a police escort to get her furniture, and so she gets nothing.    Plaintiff was unemployed, and defendant paid $900 a month rent, and plaintiff wants $800+ for utility bills, so she can now pay her own bills.

Defendant claims plaintiff changed the passwords on all of his accounts.   Also, in the hall-terview, says she would have had his baby!   Thank heavens that didn't happen.

Nothing for either side.

5 p.m. reruns-The truck hits school episode is a doozy!

Bad Teen Driver Crashes Into School!- An unlicensed drivers takes a $10,000 chick out of her school when she crashes a friend's truck into it.     I remember this one.    The video is horrific, and I wonder how fast the driver was going when she hit the overhang posts at the school?   Another factor is we all found it hard to believe that the plaintiff son/truck driver is really all that clueless about the defendant teen driving his truck.

He let her drive it before, and his mother said that she wasn't to drive it again.    I remember the defendant's parents were not letting her near their cars, or get a license, so I suspect she had more than one occasion of bad driving illegally.     I think the defendant teen let his friend drive.

Plaintiffs (parents, and teen pickup truck driver) claim defendant teen (Haley) took the truck without permission, was speeding, and the video shows the high speed collision between the truck and the support pillars for the school porch overhang.    It's a miracle no one was killed.

The school damage was just under $10k.    Plus the truck was $7500, and totaled.   I don't believe the defendant son and friend that Haley (?) was only supposed to get her backpack out of the truck, and not drive it.   The plaintiff mom is a fool.  Haley claims the plaintiff teen said she could drive, but not go fast.   I believe Haley, and not the plaintiff teen.

"I wouldn't believe any of the teens involved, on either side, if their tongues were notarized", quote from Judge Marilyn.

Defendant's counter suit is for the $5k to apply to the $10k school damages.     The accident video is horrific.  The plaintiff believes everything her son says.  The plaintiff's witness is also a poor liar, and absolutely is trying to get his friend out of trouble.   No one gets any money, and deserve nothing.   Both sets of parents are really ticked, tough.  I bet that the plaintiff son has another equally huge pickup too.   (Some places I've lived a lot of the teens have pickup trucks, and I bet the giant front bumper helped save the driver too).

Used and Confused!-Plaintiff alleges defendant ripped her off for a used car, and illegally repossessed it.     Apparently, "As Is" should be explained in big letters.    2007 Dodge Charger, $3980 was the cost of the vehicle at auction, in December, and sold to plaintiff for $6500, with $2500 down, and sold for $6500 with the interest.    Plaintiff put $2500 down, and a tracking device was installed because it was on a payment plan.

Bill of Sale says "As Is"--and plaintiff signed off on that.     Plaintiff thinks because she didn't bring the Bill of Sale, but the defendant did.    There was a coolant leak, but dealer tried to fix it anyway.     Plaintiff claims there was a verbal contract about 30 day engine warranty.

When the plaintiff took the car back, he gave her a loaner.    Defendant says the car needed a new motor, but that's 'as is'.     Plaintiff also bought a new motor, without a warranty, and defendant agreed to put the motor in ($1800), and labor ($550).     Plaintiff still owes a lot on the car and the motor, and never paid, so he repossessed it.    JJ says if she wants the car back she has to pay for the car payments, and motor, or else defendant keeps the car, and the money that's been paid already.

Pregnant and Owing?!-Plaintiff was primary leaseholder on apartment, and defendant was a roommate in one bedroom.    Security deposit was paid, and rent was up to date, but plaintiff still wants utilities and rent.    The plaintiff wants rent after she moved out for three months, but there was no effort to get another tenant, even though he had five months notice.

There was no walk through with the tenant, just the plaintiff and the landlord, because tenant had already left.    Tenant moved out partially because she's pregnant, and defendant claims landlord didn't want kids or a baby there.

Plaintiff also tries to bill the the former tenant for all carpet cleaning, not just one third.   Plaintiff's case is dismissed, and defendant gets her security back $550.

I just don't know why JJ was so patient with the bone-headed Ms. Britt, who bought a 12-year old Dodge Charger and then the "core had broke down." who would ever imagine that? It's just the old usual "As is" sale, cut and dried. Ms. Britt feels the dealer owes her a lifetime warranty for this old piece of shit, even though she signed a contract saying it's "As is". She, like a million other dingbats, feels she should be exempt from that law because she's special and it's her first core! She also thinks if she didn't bring vital evidence that will weigh in her favour.  JJ explained to her the law at least three times, but it all went Whoosh - right over her bone head. The dealer is another idiot, who even though he won and now has the car and plaintiff's money, was still yapping incoherently as the case ended.

I’m going to be kind to Miss Britt (it’s been a good day for me so far and I’m feeling generous) and say that she learned a lesson about the law vs fair play the same, hard way that lots of us learn ours, except her lesson was on national television in front of a large audience. And judging by Mr. Shifty the used car salesman’s asinine counter claim seeking to enrich himself, I have no trouble believing that he lied to her.

As the owner of an F150 pickup, and as a driver with 40+ years of driving experience, I would put "pickup" in next to last place on the list of cars I'd let a teen drive. Last place being a performance sports car with a lot of horsepower.  Pickups are huge and ungainly and a PITA to drive in most situations.

I doubt it. There seems to be a huge population of women who have reverted back in time and want men - even total strangers - to take care of their interests. They give them large sums of cash "to hold" or invest for them or to go buy them a car or they get some bum down the street to fix their houses because that's "man business" and they don't understand any of it. They screw strangers with zero precautions, get knocked up and wail because The Man took a hike and is not taking care of them. Then they come here and wail, "I'm a woman. It's not my fault! I don't know anything about anything" and "I trusted him to take care of me!"

Yep, and it's not like it once was when a teen was protected by a big heavy metal tank of a vehicle - today's smaller vehicle are often Safer

3 p.m. reruns-

Newlywed Rings Ripped Off?!-Plaintiff tenant put in notice to move out, went on vacation, and didn't pay the last month because he claims the landlord/defendant let a handyman into his apartment, for no reason, and rings disappeared.    His security deposit was only $99, and rent was $459.

Last month tenant's rent was never paid.   On 15 April, since the tenant was over two weeks late, and so the landlord changed the locks.   Handyman swears he knew nothing about the rings.    Motorcycle, 2 TVs, X Box 360, and a ton of property was in the apartment, so he owned rent for that month.   Landlord said if he was out on a certain date, and paid $300, he would be square.     Sadly, Judge Judy will give the plaintiff $1162 for rings that he apparently never paid a penny on.    The mistake the landlord made was that he didn't watch the handyman change the locks.

Fire Rescue Heroics?-Plaintiff suing neighbor for property damage due to a fire.   Defendant is a non-paying tenant, who pays nothing to the girlfriend who is the owner of the house.     Plaintiff says that defendant started fire that spread to his house,   Defendant claims leaves were piled up very high on a windy day, a frayed electric wire hit the metal fence, sparked a fire in the leaves, and he claims he risked his life to put the fire out.

Since defendant isn't the owner of the house, then plaintiff can't sue him.   Zip for the plaintiff.

Exposed Gun Goof!-Plaintiff is a security officer who needs a current gun license, and says the defendant is a licensed instructor who failed to schedule his paperwork, and shooting test.     $120 for the paperwork, and $98 renewal fee, and included a trip to the firing range.  Plaintiff says that defendant never took him to the firing range, or did the paperwork, so his license expired, and he lost wages because he couldn't work.

Defendant says the plaintiff didn't schedule anything when the plaintiff could work with him.   Plaintiff could have hired another instructor to do the testing, and paperwork, but failed to complete his required testing, and so the license lapsed.      Plaintiff is also complaining that it cost $30 more for the other instructor.     Plaintiff will get the $218, for the paperwork and testing that was paid for, and never happened.   Plaintiff will not get lost wages, or the extra amount for another instructor.

Secret Love Affair Exposed!-Plaintiff suing defendant (her ex-boyfriend) for first month's rent, and security deposit for his apartment when he was separating from his wife.     Defendant says it was a gift, not a loan.    Defendant's counterclaim is because she ratted him out to his soon to be ex-wife (ex isn't in the room), so he wants attorney fees.     Defendant claims ex went through his phone, called the plaintiff, and she said what was going on.

Defendant was loaned $1600, and he paid $50, and two smaller amounts, but no proof, and JJ says she suspects the plaintiff made this up so the money would be considered a loan, not a gift.   Defendant sent text saying he would pay her back, so he's toast.

$1600 to plaintiff.

5 p.m. reruns-

Tag Team for Child Custody?!-Defendant reached out to grandfather for help, and they worked together until debts became due.   Plaintiff loaned $1500 for custody case lawyer.   When defendant needed more money, he sold cars, and other items to raise it.   Defendant has a lot of excuses, and never sees his grandson now.   $1500 for the plaintiff.

Mother-Daughter Cruise Fail!-Plaintiff mother, suing defendant daughter for airfare, and cruise costs.    Plaintiff mom was taking the 15 year old (younger) daughter's graduation from junior high, and because defendant daughter could get better prices for the three airfares, and cruises.   They didn't go on the cruise, mother wanted to cancel long before it was scheduled, and mother wants her money back from the refunds.

The issue was the younger daughter's father wouldn't sign off on getting a passport for the younger sister, so the trip was eventually cancelled.     When the mother cancelled, the defendant got the refund, and kept it.    Defendant wanted to go on another trip, by herself, so she spent the money on that trip.

Defendant has been dodging mom for many months about the refunds, which must be awkward since they live across the street from each other.   $1600 to plaintiff.

Husband in Prison, Lover on the Side?!-Defendant is imprisoned man's wife dates another man, accepting jewelry, shoes, and a car she refuses to return.    Plaintiff is her ex-boyfriend and wants return or value of a Kia Optima.   Federal fraud is what the defendant's husband did, with stolen credit cards.

Plaintiff is right, when her husband got out of federal prison she went back to him.     Plaintiff bought her the car, they went to Vegas, but that was after they stopped by her mother's house.  the dead stepfather was lying on the floor of her mother's house when they stopped by, and still went to Vegas.  That's taking life goes on to new levels.

On Thursday the plaintiff came home, and defendant was at his home, and she said the car was now in her name, as a joke.    When he wouldn't sign the car over to her, she left.  Defendant says the title, registration, and everything about the car is in her name.

Plaintiff gets the car back, because defendant forged the plaintiffs name on the title change. JJ tells defendant to sign title over to plaintiff, or she's walking back to Minnesota.

Stealing From a Little Old Lady?!-Plaintiff (little old lady) alleges the defendant stole her jewelry.   Plaintiff says defendant stole her jewelry, and owes for loans.    Defendant played on plaintiff's sympathies, and she loaned him money.   $780 for plaintiff for the loan.

Plaintiff had to get a job driving a bus to pay her own bills.  Plaintiff loaned the roommate (kind of a godson or something), and then defendant whined until she loaned him money too.   Plaintiff actually got a judgment for harassment from her local courts.

Defendant lost his job with an HVAC company, so he needed rent money, and had other expenses.        Plaintiff gets $780.

(Warning, one of tomorrows episodes is the attack on dogs, by a couple of Boxer dogs, however, JJ says, and I agree, they're actually large pit types).

Thank you to all who watch these disgraceful displays so I won't have to. "Despicable scumbags" have been on my no-watch list for a while.

Having said that, I confess that last night I watched "Mother of the Year" suing the large Mr. Jackson who sported the giant weird suit jacket, for whatever. She keeps having kids, is homeless and drags the kids from place to place to mooch wherever she can and of course, they can't go to school what with all the transient shit. Now she's freeloading on her mother and def. says her kid punched his kid in the face so many times she had a nosebleed that wouldn't stop. Yes, all this is just the usual "Lives of Litigants", but I was wondering - was the plaintiff, who has money for wigs and manicures, etc, but not enough to care for her kids, knocked up again? I was hoping it wasn't so since she's broke and still homeless, but def confirmed her pregnancy, the nasty, dirty cow (no offense to cows who have no control over getting knocked up). Yes, when you have no home, no money and  not a pot to piss in, the best thing is to spread your legs with no birth control. I'm sure her mother is thrilled to be saddled with her useless, trashy loser daughter and all the offspring she keeps shitting out. I should have gone with my first instinct to skip this.:(

Mr. Jackson's suit jacket resembled the cheap furniture sets you use to be able to buy, the type that you get everything for the living room including the lamps, etc., and it costs you $900, and the payments are for the rest of your life.

I won't be watching, but that reminds me of the time I was walking my "pit" on a leash along a wooded trail and two large, unleashed, purebred boxers charged us, one of them crashing into my dog and knocking her down while the other circled me to attack her from the other side. The dumbass owner finally came toddling up and seemed to find the situation amusing, I guess because her dogs were boxers, therefore harmless.

Apparently there are pictures for the case tomorrow of the victims of the attack, and I bet they're bad.      That's what I hate, people who have off leash dogs, and while they're chewing on you and your animals, the idiot owner keeps yelling "They're friendly".

When someone has a dog or human aggressive animal, keep them behind a solid fence, and when outside, on a short leash.

Angela, that's a good reason to wear hiking boots, or something solid.   Especially with metal toe caps, for the best kicking, and impact, of course a little to get the dogs away, but mostly for the owner.

I actually (I used to live in a new suburb, but miles out of town) had neighbors that carried big hardwood canes, or actual cattle prods (available from Amazon, or your local farm store).  The case of the man who was severely bitten by the Rottweiler/Pit dog twice, he didn't make a police/animal control report the first time.     Not reporting a dog bite is a horrible idea, because when that animal attacks again they only have one bite on their record, so many places they won't be put down.

Yeah, cows are OK but really stupid. It seems unfair given that they live really boring lives that when they get pregnant it is usually by artificial insemination so they don't even get the (presumably) fun part of reproducing.

3 p.m. reruns-

Pregnant Dog Bashing?!-Neighbors blame each other when a pregnant dog involved in an attack loses her puppies.   Plaintiff claims that when they went to complain about the wandering dog attacking the Min. Pinscher they were fostering.    The Min Pin escaped through the fence pickets to the next door neighbor's yard, when the defendant's Pit attacked the Min Pin, and the defendant slammed his dog to the ground to get the little dog released.

After that plaintiff husband says the defendant sucker punched him.     The young man who lived with the defendant is the one who called the police about the human assault.   The young man claims the plaintiff was on the rented property of the defendant, and threatened the young man, so the defendant was defending him.

There is a woman testifying for the defendant, who claims to be connected to the home owner of the defendant, but the plaintiff woman says she's never seen her before.   The witness for the defendant is total ca-ca.      Defendant woman also claims the plaintiff wife abused the pit, and the plaintiff denies touching the dog.    Idiot defendant claims the plaintiff dog wasn't injured, but the vet just wanted to run up the bill.

However, I agree with JJ.   If some animal came after one of my dogs, I would use any means available to get that dog away from my dog.    Defendant also finally admits his dog was off leash.

The best news is the defendant moved.     Plaintiff receives $792 for vet bills, and defendant is told to stuff their ridiculous claim.

Monte Carlo Hijinks!-Plaintiff claims defendant owes the balance for a car he sold her (2000 Monte Carlo, for $1,000).    Plaintiff says he only received $500 for the car, and she refused to pay the balance after it wouldn't pass inspection, because of a faulty seatbelt.

The defendant only paid $500, and when it broke down at the end of the month, she junked it.        Plaintiff also says the defendant damaged the apartment door.

Homeless Squatter on the Hot Seat?!-Plaintiff suing defendant (tenant, and landlord) for illegal eviction, and loss of property.      Defendant signed an agreement with a roommate referral service, but had no lease with plaintiff.     Plaintiff paid rent for May, and nothing through November.

Plaintiff was fired by his employer, so he stopped paying rent.     Plaintiff also claims he actually paid rent through October.    Sadly, tenant court said the plaintiff had rights, and could move back in.     Plaintiff claims he was evicted because of an argument between girlfriend, and defendant, (girlfriend lived there at least two nights a week, sometimes more).

Defendant claims he gave the property to the plaintiff, on the day the plaintiff was removed by police.      Nothing for anyone.

Runaway Cow Collision?-(Each state has different rules when a livestock animal wanders, there are fence in states, and fence out states.   When I lived out West if you hit a cow, you paid for your own damage, and paid for the cow ).

Plaintiff was going to the casino, hit the cow, (the cow lived), and couldn't afford to get his car out of impound, and wants lost wages.     The defendant says it's Open Range in his state, as long as the animals are outside the city limits.     JJ is totally wrong, if someone hits a livestock animal then they pay for the animal.

$875 for the plaintiff.

Scary Healthcare Rip-Off-Defendant was caregiver to elderly woman, and wanted to go on vacation.     Defendant hired plaintiff (unskilled acquaintance) for 10 days, and plaintiff says she didn't get paid.   The defendant would have had to put in a time card, as if she was working, to pay the plaintiff.    Plaintiff claims she was going to be paid $500.

When friend of defendant dropped in some stranger was at the house, not the plaintiff

JJ gives nothing to either side, because the little old lady was not cared for.

Senior Tricked Into Nursing Home Facility-Defendant claims her 100+ year old relative was tricked into being put into senior care, and her house was going to be sold.  Defendant didn't have a car, and need one.      Plaintiff worked with a car rental place, and had a rental in his name, and defendant would pay for car rental, and insurance, so she could visit the aunt.     After a while, plaintiff told defendant he was cancelling the rental, and her insurance was cancelled (she had a history of DUI, and tickets, that caused the price to go up).     Defendant got tickets on the car, and only paid one ticket.    Defendant wasn't making payments either.

Plaintiff case is dismissed, because there was no contract.

Car Thieves Don't Get Far With Lemon!- Plaintiff bought a car in bad shape, had it towed to the defendant's shop for repair.    Defendant was working on car, parked it on the street, and it was stolen, but broke down almost immediately, and abandoned, and was impounded.      Plaintiff wants to be reimbursed for tow costs, impound, and cost of car.

Defendant says car was parked on the street by tow truck driver.

Plaintiff has recording from the impound tow company saying it was impounded, and sold at auction.     Defendant failed to keep car safe, and I'm guessing it was dropped off after hours.   Plaintiff gets $1200.

Don't Even Think About Writing Hate Mail to Judge Judy- (A pit bull is accused of inflicting over 40 puncture wounds on a neighbor's dog.  Tell me we don't get to hear about the heartbroken grandpa letter again).     Grandfather (defendant) bought the dogs because they were on sale, and for his grandkids.     Plaintiff and daughter suing for $5,000 defendant landlord, and former tenant for vet bills for the dog attack.     Plaintiff, house owner claims defendant needed to fix common fence, because the dogs ripped it apart.     Defendant landlady rented house to dog owner, and gave him a three day eviction for violating the terms of the lease, for having a ton of people in the house who were not on the lease, and the dogs.    The landlady/defendant says she rented to an adult couple, and the tenant moved in grandchildren, adult daughter, adult son, and various other people into the house, and none were on the lease.    (We get to hear the letter from the heartbroken grandfather who had a grandson ripped up by a pit bull, I used the mute button).

The defendants see the pictures of the attacked animal (German Shepherd), and don't care.   The Shepherd was on it's own fenced property, and the pits were seen in the yard.    Defendant landlady had previously been notified by the neighbors about the condition of the fence, from the tenant's (defendant's) dogs.   Landlady called tenant told him that the dogs were not on the lease, and the tenant told her the dogs were gone, which was a lie, and that was right before the attack.

$5k for the plaintiffs.

Man Can't Get Ex-Wife Out Fast Enough?!-Plaintiff has daughter, with her mother has guardianship of her.    Plaintiff was living with her mother.    Plaintiff needed a place to live, and pay $350 a month rent, and stayed only 9 days.     Plaintiff paid the defendant (her ex husband) the $350, and is suing defendant for illegal eviction, and other ridiculous things.

Plaintiff gets $300 back.

Painful Tooth Extraction Payback!-Plaintiff  (mother) paid for defendant to have dental work done, bought a car and put it in daughter's/defendant's name.   Plaintiff also wants insurance, and registration paid, but plaintiff received nothing.     Defendant claims the grandmother paid for insurance, registration and inspection.     Daughter took out a title loan, and never repaid that either.

Plaintiff gets nothing.

The other day we had the prolific breeder who said she didn't know the name of her daughter's godmother. Well, she was the girlfriend of the REAL godmother, so of course, she's also a godmother - everyone with whom someone has a nodding acquaintance is automatically a godparent I guess -  but damned if she knows her name.

Katie Morgan (not the porn star) Queen of Bad Decisions, seemed either on drugs or mentally deficient. Has a kid with some guy, marries squirrely def, leaves, gets some other guy who beats her up (I think she was banging some other guy in between hubby and abuser, or something) gives guardianship of her daughter to her mother, with whom she didn't get along and they all live together. Mom looks disabled by her weight. I wonder who supports that household?

Byrd, I'm sure you can scrape up a few more dollars.

Mr. Jackson's suit jacket resembled the cheap furniture sets you use to be able to buy, the type that you get everything for the living room including the lamps, etc., and it costs you $900, and the payments are for the rest of your life.

I call that the Roseanne Couch suit. Remember back when Roseanne Barr/Connor/ Thomas/ whatever had that big old plaid couch made from industrial strength material on her show? (I actually had a couch, loveseat and chair out of that same fabric back in the day that we bought from some random National Furniture Warehouse.

Speaking of sofas, so excited here! I'm getting a new one for the first time in 26 years! I had took a title loan on my '96 Lincoln and had went to the rent-to-own place. I have to pay for it for the next 364 weeks as I have a little bad credit due to"situations" and misunderstandments with my bank and my taxes, hehe. None of that is my fault, of course. I had a whole bunch of cash in a sock in my drawer and my baby daddy stold it the last time he got out of prison. Anyway, the interest rate is about 110% but the payments are only 10$/week! Cheap!

Actually, I thought of our litigants after I purchased the sofa. It really HAS been 26 years but THEY, who are homeless, broke, in debt and have no credit, are out finagling 60" TVs, 5K diamond rings, iPhones, tablets, etc.

I only hope I die well before I need tending by any hard-rode, horrific, hatchet-faced hags like these brutes, and get left with some guy whose name the hag doesn't even know so she can go out and score some drugs or turn a 5$ trick. No one deserves that. Okay, almost no one. Suddenly the infamous Greaseball Mommy From Hell popped into my mind. She deserves that and worse. Much, much worse.

I could listen to a dozen dog cases rather than that 2-minute clip again.  Just an awful human being.  And I also seem to recall that the boy got into more trouble. Wonder if he would have, had this situation (his mom) been different.

Backing way up, the lamb case from last week was weird.  Hubby makes her get rid of baby lamb, but is now okay to have TWO? And obviously not on a farm, so, just hanging out in the basement?  Or on the driveway?  And does she not realize that lambs grow into SHEEP?  Kind of like the parents who buy cute little chickies and ducklings at Easter, and then a month later wonder what to do with this giant duck or sqwaking chicken.  Braaawwk!

Maybe she was trying to start a sweater-knitting business. 🙄

Mom suing daughter yesterday over dental bills and other crap?  Sheesh.  "Let's go on Judge Judy and get some free money!"   Hasn't made a payment on the title loan? HAHAHAHAHA!

The infamous Greaseball Mommy from Hell case.   It's on one of the DVDs they put out of classic cases.  The son was in serious, prison level felony trouble.      When this aired there was a big discussion about the son, and the accident that killed the young girl.    I wondered if there was any proof the girl was driving?

The lamb woman didn't say she got another lamb, she said she was getting a suitable companion, so it could have been anything.    The husband was just as nutty as she was for agreeing the sheep could come back.

3 pm. reruns-

Mutual Combat Chaos!-Plaintiff ex-girlfriend suing ex-boyfriend (they have four kids together) for discarding and damaging her property, and a false restraining order.   The two broke up, got back together, and they it was a nasty break up.    Plaintiff claims it was mutual combat, and he hit her more.   Defendant had three of four kids living with him, claims ex-gf abandoned the kids, lived in the projects, and was back on illegal substances.    There was a 50/50 custody order, but defendant claims Mother of the Year (Sainted Single Mother of Four-SSMOF).       (Please tell me she's not expecting #5).

Woman moved back in to the house in March, and that lasted until September.    Defendant claims plaintiff and cousin beat the stuffing out of him, and plaintiff had already left the house.  There is a police report, and photos.     A couple of days later, the plaintiff, and some more relatives came by his house, and were made about the police report.   There was a subsequent custody hearing that gave her a lot more custody.      Protective order hearing was at the same time, and mutual restraining orders were granted.

Plaintiff claims he stole her furniture; a sofa, fish tank, wall mirror, lamps, kitchen table set, and has no receipts for anything.    Everything went to the dump. Defendant claims he gave the pictures to her sister.   Case dismissed, plaintiff gets nothing.

Defendant has counter-claim, and there was a mutual order of protection, and since the man was in court, then it's not a false protection order.

The Mailbox Made Me Do It!-Defendant had a single car wreck, and claims it was the mailbox's fault he hit it.    Plaintiffs are suing for their mailbox, which the plaintiff's son hit with a car.    The plaintiff mother was on a cruise, when the son took her car, and ran over the mailbox, in a single car accident.

Darius, the son, claims the mailbox wasn't in the street before.    There are pictures of the mailbox, showing the mailbox was back, and the plaintiff's car left marks on the curb in the driveway.     Darius also claims another car trespassed on his side of the road, and he was avoiding that car when he hit the wandering mailbox.    Darius went on the wrong side of the road, and went up on the curb to hit the mailbox.

Plaintiff gets $544 for the mailbox.

Bowling Alley Boutique Bust!-Plaintiff books a vendor space at a bowling alley, and claims the space wasn't ready, and there were no other vendors at the space.   The contract says no refunds.   Defendant uses the foyer at the bowling alley for vendor space, rented for $200 an evening.    Plaintiff/jewelry seller, says she prepaid for 9 events, for $298.     Defendant booked dates that didn't have parties coming to the alley, so the defendant wanted to change the dates, and plaintiff did that.    Plaintiff said the first event date had no attendance.    Defendant said plaintiff could switch to fall, but she had no dates compatible.

The defendant breached the contract, by not scheduling the other dates.

Plaintiff gets $298 refund, but gets $140.     She also sued for lost revenue for almost $2k.

Housekeeping Bandit?!-Defendant is accused of stealing from housekeeping client, but claims she stole nothing.    Plaintiff was having woman paying her rent from his debit card, and she was paying other bills too.      Plaintiff says woman stole his money, and didn't pay his rent, so he was being evicted.   Defendant lies through her teeth, and plaintiff gets $2500.

Great Oak Bites the Dust-Plaintiff had a huge oak tree on his property, wanted it cut down, and wanted some wood from that.     There were also 2 or 3 smaller trees, and haul the wood away.    At first he said the wood cutter was supposed to keep the smaller trees, and haul the half of the oak tree.  Plaintiff says the defendant, tree cutter, didn't complete the job.    The plaintiff is so confusing to listen too.

Defendant was supposed to leave half of the red oak wood, and stack it.   He didn't stack anything, or remove the other half of the wood.    Plaintiff had to get another person to haul the wood from the oak.     $300 for plaintiff, but he's a total pain.

5 p.m. reruns-

Artist's Botched Gallery Attempt!-'Artist' was to paint the inside of a huge gallery space, in return for using the space for three art shows.     Defendant furnished paint, and had a verbal agreement.    Plaintiff took over six months and never finished painting.     Plaintiff says he applied for a $300 permit to do the art shows, and defendant says he doesn't remember seeing the plaintiff's proposed contract.      The contract wasn't signed by the defendant, and defendant says he had a proposed lease for the plaintiff.     In January 2018, the defendant signed another lease with a different customer for the same space (this was a year later, after painter had been working for the entire time).    Plaintiff was supposed to only paint the concrete floors, the duct work, and pipes.

Plaintiff never even finished painting the floor.   Defendant is counter suing for utility bills, and damages to the building.     New tenant has their business up and running in 30 days, not a year later.     Plaintiff gets zip, and defendant gets $5,000 for fire sprinkler damage.

Unbelievable Semi-Nude Photo Post?!-Defendant man (ex-fiance of plaintiff), sent a naked photo of his wife to his ex-girlfriend (the defendant).   Plaintiff wants apartment lease money (May to September), car payments (for two cars in her name).    Plaintiff was unemployed, and on disability for January, and February, and worked in April.    Defendant was on disability sometimes too.

Defendant's counter claim is that the plaintiff posted a naked picture of his current wife, out of revenge.     The defendant wife posted a picture of herself in bra, and panties, but it was sent by the defendant husband to the plaintiff, and plaintiff posted it.    I don't know how this came out, I was laughing too hard over the idiot litigants to notice.

Quinceanera Loan or Friendly Contribution-Plaintiff suing former friend defendant for her cousin's Quinceanera ($1200 for the loan).     JJ doesn't understand that many times other relatives contribute for parts of the Quinceanera.     Defendant says the plaintiff was like family, and her contribution was a gift, and not a loan to her.    $1200 to the plaintiff.

Law Student Should Know Better-Plaintiff gave defendant $10k for $15k or more in three months time.  Plaintiff claims the defendant told him he would personally insure the investment.  There was no written contract.

Bernie Madoff rears his ugly, thieving head too.   Zip for the plaintiff who should have known better.

Seriously, what a load of BS. Grandma, mom, and daughter all looked about 15 years apart in ages. Mom wants to go to school, daughter wants a car - Mom gets it for her and wants her to take out a title loan on it- and I don't know what Grandma wants. Must have been disappointing for all of them to traipse out of there empty-handed. A nice way for families to stay close.

Holy schnikes. I thought the woman who sued the mom of the little girl she struck with her car’s side view mirror and broke her collarbone was the top 10 worst. I’m pretty sure this plaintiff was the defendant in a much, much more serious case not seen on TV.

It. Was. An INVESTMENT. Clearly. Nowhere in the testimony was it described as a loan. There was no mention of interest. The fabulous bullshit return was ROI.  Mr. Slick Lawyer Dumbass need to understand the difference between and partner/invester and a creditor.

A word of advice for the moms and dads suing their sons and daughters. The advice also applies to their spouse/domestic partners. They also pick your nursing home, by the way.

Of course. I'm sure we all do, just as everyone seems to have a folder of photos their own genitals, taken from various angles, just in case they need to introduce themselves to some young man/lady without wasting time. It's sort of a modern twist on the old-fashioned calling card.
