the Brazil's coach decided to re-create Barcelona 1992, by pulling Flavia and putting Jade in. and now Jade can't finish. so if I am Flavia i am the ever living pissed off, and will smite the world on beam in EF ;)

Flavia was pulled out of the AA after qualifying in favor of Jade, and Jade got taken out on a wheelchair after floor.

I still don't understand how anyone roots for Simone to fail, so disappointed in Horton. 

If Simone hits beam and floor, she'll win by at least 1 point.

I don't really like Simone's beam. like. i like the difficulty but it just looks too...hodgepodge if that makes sense.

He wants it to be competitive, he isn't rooting against Simone. If anything, it's the opposite. He's very pro-American. 

Other than that balance check (I guess .30), Simone KILLED beam. And with her killing beam, she'll probably win by 2 points, since Aliya's floor is so weak.

Mustafina needs a 15.8 on beam to overtake Simone. Not happening as I don't think anyone has a 15.8 on beam.

Miller's '92 routine is one of my all-time favorites. So artistic and difficult. I think beam is so hodgepodge now because of the code. I liked Patterson's on '04 as well. She has such a lightness and while it wasn't completely jam packed like Ponor's I think Patterson would have won beam had she not hoped her dismount. Her lightness compared to Ponor's heaviness and very low sloppy dismount was so much better.

Me too. honestly, especially now how they spread out gymnastics entering the 2nd week - there is no reason why they can't do compulsories. even start the day/two before the olympics start, get it in, use 50% of Comps for Qualifications, and off you go.

Middle of the 3 rotation, so hard to say the rankings right now. Aly up on beam soon, floor next for USA. Simone, Aliya, Rebeca, Aly, Seda in the mix

I don't think so. Her D-score was only 5.3 so she obviously left out connections and major skills.

Aliya led after Rotation 2 followed by Simone, Seda, Aly and Rebecca.  However Aliya had a disastrous beam set and Simone will regain the lead.
