Reveal the truth about what he personally thinks about the story and where it's headed. Sure, you can say he's a kid and should keep his mouth shut bc he's not good enough or old enough or whatever, but that's not really the point for me. Just because you're supposed to behave a certain way in the business and you're not supposed to rock the boat doesn't mean that way is right or more respectable. Everyone has their own reality and personality.

I don't think he cares about Morgan's morals or the morals of the writing or how good the writing is or is not. I think he just cares because he gets no screentime. Which is fine but I don't think he is fighting for the GH actors or a better show.

He literally said the fans are having a negative reax to the story? What else is he referring to?

He's been complaining on social media about his lack of story/screen time for a while now.  And what he's upset about isn't so much that fans don't like the story, but that they no longer like Morgan because of it.  If the fans were on Morgan's side of "Operation Alcoholic", he'd be praising it to the high heavens, I'm sure.

Maybe Ron/Frank are huge creepers and are doing messed up stuff?

While I think these two men have the combined talent of dandelion fuzz and Ronnie needs a timeout daily, I don't think they are shady, especially since ABC has employed them for quite some time. If they were creepers, their asses would be gone. ABC is a corporation just like everyone else.

No, I just think their talent is marginal or faded at best, and their egos are kind of on the large side.

I don't know if this is even on the same level or not, but BC isn't RoHo squirming uncomfortably because of the reaction of the viewers to his storyline. Admittedly, I'm not such a big fan of Morgan these days, but that's because he's A) being moronic and B) he's pretending to be with Kaka again, which is part of the being moronic. I've got my watch set to start hearing either more fat "jokes" at his expense, or whatever else Ron's feeble intellect can come up with.

Isn't that why most actors speak out about certain storylines? Because it makes their character look bad or it's OOC?

Sure, but I have noticed that most try to couch the criticism in humor or remain guarded - at least in print. I get good ol' Bryan C. not wanting Morgan to take a hit, but the regime he works under is petty to criticism on a good day. And even those who do suck it up and just do the work are having their characters pulverized (hi, JT!), so it's not a new thing.

He needs someone to help him not be so in-your-face (if just to stay on RC's good side).

Get with it, Cobalt. ;) the bald jokes are coming.

I guess he is brave, in a way. Seems more like recklessness to me though.

You have to look at the context too.  Like OF COURSE he likes Jamey Giddens' article about fixing GH, which gives him a liberal tongue bath and suggests he is the one and only future of the show.

That comes off less brave to me than self-serving.

Picture it: Prospect Park Studios, tomorrow morning . . .

Bryan Craig: yo brah, I bought a corvette!

Frank Valentini: bye Felicia!

Picture it: Soap Opera Digest's Twitter, tomorrow afternoon . . .

Craig out, Smith in at #GH!

Is it sad I read the first line in a Sophia Petrillo voice? And no, it has zip to do with RC's GG obsession!

I'd say his girlfriend Kelly T. should be the one to rein him in, but for all we know she's encouraging it, now that she's not on the show anymore.

I wish Ron dealt with things more adult like. One day he's going to write something about an actor's character that will strike a chord and cause a suicide or something. This things can happen. Ron is a bully. They should deal with Bryan Craig privately because it sounds like he has some kind of problem. One day Ron, Frank, and ABC will get sued because Ron can't handle this shit maturely.

ABC has already been sued or has been threatened to be sued already with Kari Wuhrer's pregnancy/firing and Monavie. I honestly don't think it cares anymore about GH and, if something does happen, God forbid, the network would just pull the plug on the show now.

He's a really good looking guy though with a large fan base and is probably going to win the younger actor Emmy. Why is he possibly unemployable?

He has that recent DUI, and I have to wonder whether that had any effect on his job standing over at DOOL. But I may be way off. I do think he's talented, but he's not Frank's typical type, certainly not compared to Bryan Craig.

Because I think the point of his leaving "Days of our Lives" is that he wants to try his luck outside of soaps.

Relatedly, the inevitable, usually fan-fueled rumors that immediately crop up that an actor leaving one soap is immediately headed for another soap drive me bonkers.

I do think the current post-Frons regime at ABC would have a lot less tolerance for, say, the Monavie scandal. Or so I hope.

Or if he thinks Morgan looks bad now, wait till he reads the script where Morgan kills all the dalmatians in town so he can make himself a toupee

I can't believe I didn't come up with this. Fuck you, ulkis!

No lie -- my stomach hurts from laughing. Only because I really can imagine the writers writing something so shitty.

Well, it would be a great tie-in with Disney and Once Upon a Time.

The unsubstantiated rumor is that Corday offered him a new contract with a lower rate and lower guaranteed minimum than his rookie contract. And he's missed pilot season, so I could see him signing with another soap if he liked the terms.

Ok, can somebody please explain to me what Monavie is??

Monavie is a berry juice that is supposed to be some wonderful tonic for the soul or some such crap, but in reality it is a giant pyramid scheme. Steve Burton first got in trouble when he tried to sell it at a GH Fan Club Weekend event some years back (and he apparently recruited co stars Bradford Anderson and Natalia Livingston to sell it, too), and the show itself got in trouble when they had a scene where Spinelli gave Jason a berry drink that sounded a LOT more like a commercial for Monavie, and Tropicana stopped sponsoring GH. Ingo actually spoke out against the Monavie Crew on GH after that happened. I'll try to find that scene on YouTube again.

Basically Monavie was Steve Burton's Ponzi scheme. It's some kind of fruit juice, and you buy into it and are supposed to see profits from it. I think Bradford Anderson bought into it too.

They also pushed it at every fan event, made buying cases of it some sort of incentive for fans, IIRC. And then I think Bob Guza wrote it into the scripts! Like, Jason and Claudia are sick with a virus and only Monavie can cure them! I swear I'm not making this up. I think that's what happened.

Ingo Rademacher wrote some sort of open letter decrying this practice, but this was at the Frons-run ABC which worshipped Guza's GH so nothing much got done to my knowledge. Steve should have been fired for that.

How shocking that the rumor favors the fan favorite actor over the much hated producer! ;)

In any case, in all seriousness, I cannot see Freddie Smith on this show, particularly as Morgan.

And part of the trouble NL got into for shilling it was spoilers for juice, if I recall. So, yeah, ABC has had its share of crap behind the scenes.
