Really pumped about a number of the girls - I will be voting every day! Kelsey, Madeline, Jamie, Hunter...those are my top right now that I really want to see make camp! I think I like Kelly Quinn and Kyndall too lol

I can't help but root for Cristi. She seems so down to earth and if you go through her instagram she's set this goal of becoming a DCC for over a year now. Plus, she's an amazing dancer and has the perfect body for the uniform. I hope she makes it!

Yeah, she was cut the same year as Meaghan Michelle, Kamilah Bret, Cassie Kathleen, and Alyssa Torres. It was the year Charlotte made the infamous comment of, "What are you feeding these veterans in the off season?" (What a blow-hard thing to say.) Jenna A is probably one of the most under-the-radar girls in ten seasons of the show, so it's easy to miss. I don't think she was ever interviewed on camera at all, and I also don't really remember them showing her dance, other than on the field before she got cut to demonstrate how out of shape she was.

Anyway, sorry that went slightly off topic. I will be interested to see if they feature her this year as a vet trying to make a comeback.

I think that is pretty bave of Jenna to come back. I doubt if I would have had the courage!

I'm really rooting for Kelsey. I was looking at her Instagram pics.. all of them lol! and she is absolutely stunning. Never taken a bad pic. I think her dancing skills look great. I just hope they give her a proper chance *sigh* I feel sure she'd make a great DCC.

Just noticed in the finalist pic there is a good amount of blondes. DCC are a bit low on blondes .. I wonder if they will think about things like that at finals?

Jenna Allison is easily from one of the most painful departure of vets in recent years. I cringe at Charlotte's  "whatcha feedin the vets" comment with the slo-mo of their bellies. It wasn't nice & I do recall Jenna crying HARD along with Meaghan Michelle.  Both were so devastated as was Kamil ah Brett whereas Alyssa Torres seemed to be in shock.  I still am surprised at the fact they didn't give Alyssa time to firm up especially since she is probably one of the most gorgeous women DOC'S ever (in mine & that male hairdressers opinions)! She comes from the uber beautiful & sexy Torres sisters which are basically DCC royalty AND are latina. That season was BRUTAL...a horrendous house-cleaning.

I'm happy to see Madeline make semi's since she's a fellow Utahn.  I've known Toby's Mom thru dance circles  (her daughters & mine) & got to know Courtney & her mom when she began trying out for DCC with Toby's help. Coming from a small state (under 2 million)with only 1 nat'l sports franchise, power pom cheerleaders are a definite novelty around here. I think we kind of all enjoy that "local girl does good" or root for that young lady whose story strikes a personal chord in us.

Seeing Madeline has confirmed that a year to grow up & mature is a good move for DCC. She looks more womanly, sexy & confident in herself.  One thing I'm fairly certain of is this..Madeline is of the Mormon faith. Growing up in Utah, I know "Mo's" are encouraged to give talks often in front of their congregation.  So...baring an epic catastrophe, Madeline should sail thru the interview portion of the audition.  Hopefully she gets the combo down & has a powerful, attention grabbing solo.

 

Why oh why don't more women post their solos? As a fan of DCCMTT, please release vids for us (your fans )to analyze at nauseum.

Time for bed. I'm pooped from the tension of today.???

Kyndell is so cute.  I hope she's improved her dancing and makes the squad.

I hope Kelsey at least makes TC this time so we can get to know her better - we know she's beautiful, and we've seen clips of her dancing, but I still wonder if there is more than just her interview flubs that are keeping her out of TC? - she's like so pretty, and they've taken way less attractive girls who've also said dumb things in interviews into TC, so maybe there is some other issue.  I guess we'll see.

If Amy Simone or Madeline even have a single crying and pleading scene on the show I will be done w/ them - as in won't like them even if they end up making  the squad.  Their desperation and drama got on my last nerve last season so I'm really not looking forward to seeing either of them back on the show unless it's to be cut at finals at this point.   But maybe they will have made some effort to change after watching how they came off on the show last season.  I guess we'll see about that too.

Looks like there are a lot of beautiful girls in that picture - like so many I can't even remember them all enough to comment - the vets better bring their A game.

That Chisara girl above needs to get over herself - that post is just begging for comments like "you are so pretty, can't see why you didn't make it", "DCC is nuts of they don't want YOU cause you're so perfect".  She's clearly not toned enough, shes wide/big in the middle, her thighs are thick, she's shorter in general, and her teeth have spacing issues.   Assuming she can dance, the combo of the appearance issues is/are probably what kept her out of finals - some she can do something about for next year, some she can't.   Really cute face and hair though.

Wait, Carly and Cristi were the two BFFs trying out together right? So Cristi made it but not Carly? Aughhh that sucks :(  I was hoping they might be the new Jasmine/Danielle...how sad for Carly and awkward for Cristi. I guess that is the risk you take though!! 

Winenotwhine, at least it was a fun learning experience for your daughter! I'm sure those prep classes do make a difference, at least when competition is SO close and fierce.  I'm still jealous she had the opportunity to dance right on that field and see Kelli/Judy/etc. all in person! 

I am also so surprised about Jenna Allison. Maybe that was just a bad pic? I'm going to be ticked if they are bringing her along just to make an example of her (with weight stuff).  God bless her though for being brave enough to try again several years later! 

Too bad about Tessa Grace. She really looked cute and I've always liked Sarah Gourley.  She must have just bombed the combination. 

Kelsey has been commenting on her IG how she has been studying like crazy this past year for the panels and that's what she'll be focusing on this week too, along with the combo.  Just really hoping she can make it to TC.  I agree that she deserves a shot and if she blows it there, she can move on to other things.

I am thinking Fallon must not have made it to finals...do we know if she even was at semi's? I liked her but wasn't sure she'd be up to par with the others. I just feel like she would have been posting like crazy if she was prepping for finals. who knows though!

I really hope they take some of the girls who keep trying over and over and over to training camp. Like Jamie and Whitney. If they get cut then maybe they can move on but at least they got a shot.

She has a couple on her instagram, she's a bit stiff. She seems really young too so she has plenty of years ahead of her to try again.

This is definitely a better look for Kelli. I'm glad she's wearing something that is more flattering for the auditions. She's in her 50's. Nothing wrong with not being a stick person any longer.

I don't think Chisara even made it past prelims. I checked her page but she only made the one post. Not sure which girl it is that's complaining.

Are finals this weekend or next weekend? 

 

I have to to say that finding out which vets get cut is the most exciting part of the year lol. Not that I ever want anyone to get cut!! I hope they all make it but it's the most shocking part! I feel like usually here we are often so surprised to see a couple cuts but then when the episode airs it's like...oh, yeah, I see why she was cut. (Like Kali, Jasmine, some others I can't remember).

 

ill be interested to see if Emily Kelsey Amyand Jenna make it to training camp.

I thought Kelli looked amazing too. She doesn't need to be stuck in layers of stretchy fabric. She's a DCC legacy and does a great job doing the difficult task of being DCC Director. No one's judging her on being a bit heavier than she was in her 20's. Seriously? She looks great!

Judy looks good too, and damn her genes for giving her such great looking hair! lol  Charlotte could do with an additional 10, 15 pounds or so. Some ladies are just naturally stick-figured, which is a blessing when you're younger, and a little harder to pull off when you're older. But she looks beautiful and has striking coloring.

I don't want to see any Vets go, but there seems to always be one or two who get cut. As Kelli said last year, she'd love it if each Vet could retire when they wanted to, but that's not the case. Always one or two seem to be knocked out by talented newcomers. Goes to show the DCCs need to really work at keeping their jobs by continuing to take classes and improve their skills.

I do think I must be the only person here who finds these auditions stressful! I just want to know my favourites are safely on the team!

I don't watch reality competitions really as I loathe watching people being hurt and humiliated. I like the tale end of the MTT when you get to see more of the dancing and find out a little about the girls. 

I hope the new recruits upload lots of dance vids when they make the team.. those are my fave girls. I'm easily pleased and am happy to watch the dancing ?

Unrelated, but I wonder if they would like Emily Roslyn more if she didn't accentuate her eyes so much with eyeliner. I've never seen a photo of her without her eyes made up alot.

Hmm...weird, because she seemed really at peace about it when she first tweeted about not making finals (I'm young! NBD!) Probably hurts more once it starts to sink in.  If she is really so young, she should try out for another team maybe and get a year of experience cheering professionally under her belt.

Yeah, Megan has been tweeting all morning about how sad she is and she's so sad that she can't even cry. I understand not being taken to training camp, but it's probably easier to get cut in the semis than when you're so close to the end.

I don't really watch reality competitions either, except for DCC:MTT and The Great British Baking Show when I can get it. :D  The only gripe I have about MTT is that we really get to see to little of the audition process or TC. Which makes it difficult to know why they bring some people onto the squad (i.e. Morgan, Kaitlyn, Stephanie etc.) and cut others. I also would like them to focus some attention on the Vets in TC. Not a ton, as the Rookie TCCs are the true newbies, but some because they're trying to make the team again and we like them. Ah well; whine, whine, whine. :)

There are makeup techniques that could help emphasize Emily Roslyn's eyes without making her look like a bug-person. But I guess you like and get used to what you like and get used to!

that's what will be interesting to me this year...it seems like most of the rookies have been going to a lot of classes, working on their dancing, etc. and I don't think any of them look heavy. I feel like if any of them do, it'll be because they don't stand out enough (and maybe didn't stand out enough during the season) or get out performed (i.e Claire, Raylee and Simone).  I really will be shocked if any of the following get cut: Megan C, KaShara, Amy T, Holly, Amy L (she wasn't shown much on show but in other clips I've seen she is an adorable performer and so photogenic!), Robin, Bess, Kat and Chantel. Claire, Raylee and Simone are in my danger zone and then Jax and Stephanie I really have NO clue.  I am in minority that I think they are both pretty and good dancers but hard to tell if they are truly liked well enough by K&J (and Charlotte). 

As for upper vets, Caila is the only one I can think of who I could see getting cut (if partying rumors are true and she hasn't toned up since swim suit thing).

Personally, I like Emily Roslyn is super pretty. Her twitter photo is gorgeouss and she seems like she changed her facial expressions this year as evidenced by the semi final photos posted on the website.
