thewhiteowl February 14, 2016 Share February 14, 2016 After a list with the real identities of undercover bureau operatives leaks, Brian develops a personal connection with FBI Agent Lucy Church, a tenacious rule-breaker, when he helps her finish a field case before she's exposed. Also, Sands makes a surprising move to end Rebecca's investigation into Senator Morra. Link to comment

Big Mother February 17, 2016 Share February 17, 2016 I missed the first two minutes and therefore found it really hard to follow the story for a good portion of the episode. I found it to be less suspenseful than usual, although it was beautiful for a change, and it was great to see Brian get some real action... I'm really nervous about Rebecca's fate, especially at the end scene. although the previews from next week seem to turn it all upside down into Brian's court again. Link to comment

Shades of Red February 17, 2016 Share February 17, 2016 I adore this show so much and hope it continues. Very happy that Brian got some action last night and it wasn't with Rebecca. Rebecca's story line is getting weirder and scarier by the second. Wonder how long it will take her to realize her apartment is all bugged out? I hope she figures it out and uses it to her advantage. The visuals on this show are terrific and fun. I enjoy how in Brian's scenarios he manages to bring in everyone and spin things to how he wants them to be. I'll bet the cast has a lot of fun on this show and the bloopers should be hilarious. This is a show I'll be picking up on DVD for all the extras and to watch time and again. I always manage to find something I've missed the first time around when I re-watch. 1 Link to comment

sjohnson February 17, 2016 Share February 17, 2016 Sands was surprised at the news of the clerk's death. Which is big for the continuing story. It's hard to imagine any other option for Rebecca, but the distinct implication it's to kill her...well, if on a hour's notice they can arrange an anaphylactic shock to kill instead of being resolved by an EpiPen, then they'll be able to arrange an accident for Rebecca. And Rebecca's storyline does include a purge of NZT users including her father. The thing is, Morra in the movie got his NZT then got swept up in another purge. We know for a fact that Morra isn't the only player...but Brian doesn't. 1 Link to comment
hnygrl February 17, 2016 Share February 17, 2016 That ending though! I kept wondering how this show was gonna save Rebecca. This is one seriously unexpectedly smart show. It always manages to come up with a really briliant angle to save the day and get things back on track. I gotta tell ya...I would not be upset AT. ALL. If they killed off Sands. Not. At. All. He gets scarier and creepier by the episode. I can't see them killing Rebecca or even Threatening her to shut her up/stop her looking. All they CAN do at this point is give her nothing to look for. Somebody's got to purge Morra's name/image/whatever so that when searched for, nothing shows up. I really really hope she has one of those neat-o burrito spy things that lets you know your place is bugged. Either that or she walks in the front door and just...knows.. MAN I love this show! I'm on the edge of my seat the whole time these days. This is one of my "Don't bother me, my show is on!!!!" Shows now. 1 Link to comment
thuganomics85 February 17, 2016 Share February 17, 2016 Of course, the show would use a Bollywood Number in place of a scene where Brian was getting some action. And, of course Mike & Ike would be in it. Classic Limitless! The actual case held no real surprises, but I enjoyed the interaction between Brian and Lucy, and I did like the final part, where Brian no longer was on NZT and had to talk down Lucy from killing that guy. The camera interviews were entertaining; especially the bit where Boyle was clearly trying to hold back a smirk over Brian having to go undercover as a temp again. Rebecca facing down Sands was a blast. Not surprised that she would turn down the obvious bribe at all. But now Sands is totally gunning for her. I really doubt the show will kill her off, but I have to think this is going to get ugly now that the season is starting to wrap up. 2 Link to comment

AlliMo February 18, 2016 Share February 18, 2016 Sands now knows that Rebecca can't be bought, and he's also starting to realize her importance to Brian, and clearly they want to keep Brian relatively happy and amenable to doing their bidding. He needs to tread very carefully with how he handles Rebecca, and no doubt he knows it. 1 Link to comment
MisterGlass February 18, 2016 Share February 18, 2016 (edited) Good middle of the road episode. I like that they show Brian off NZT now and then. It's good to see the sincere baseline personality that gets amped up into NZT Brian. That confrontation between Sands and Rebecca was really unexpected. I applaud this show for not holding back on things like this. Rebecca really rattled Sands, and that's not good at all. If she wasn't so important to controlling Brian she would probably already be out of the picture. ETA: I love the bit where they were standing on the street holding signs with the agent's name, and of course Mike and Ike were together. Edited February 18, 2016 by MisterGlass Link to comment

Sands knows that Brian is on NZT, and therefore any supposed opportunity to kill Rebecca is very unlikely to go unsuspected by Brian. It's obvious there isn't much room for interpreting the other option as anything but kill, but the kill option doesn't make much sense either. Link to comment
twoods February 18, 2016 Share February 18, 2016 It was nice to see the actress from Code Black who recently died be a bad ass FBI agent on this show. Brian really has chemistry with almost every female he has been around, and looked fantastic in a suit. I also liked how Rebecca seemed a little flustered with his look (and tried to justify it during the questioning). Did I hint some jealousy on her part? I am scared for her because Sands is such a bad ass and doesn't care who he kills to keep Mora's secret safe. I hope she doesn't land in the hospital. I could not stop laughing at the Bollywood scene. They must have had so much fun doing it. Boyle throwing Brian shade was great. I love his not so secret disdain towards him. Link to comment

iMonrey February 18, 2016 Share February 18, 2016 For once I felt the writing was a little off because Sands has been depicted as a sinister mastermind of epidemic proportions, yet in this episode he came off kind of stupid. Why on earth would he ever think he could buy off Rebecca by offering her a job? The timing alone was suspicious as hell. Suddenly Sands kind of looks like a blithering idiot. I loved everything else about the episode though - especially the call girl rattling off all her favorite reality shows. I hope nobody missed the bonus after the closing titles - sometimes I miss those because when the screen fades to black and "Limitless" comes up I figure that's the end and either shut it off or start FFing. Rinaldo February 19, 2016 Share February 19, 2016 While on YouTube, I decided to see if someone had maybe posted the Bollywood bit, so I could see it again without FF-ing halfway through the show. To my surprise, the series has posted an extended version (a full minute), with a better chance to see the backup dancers (who among them should I recognize beyond Mike and Ike?). 1 Link to comment

Rinaldo July 22, 2018 Share July 22, 2018 Still, it had its one excellent season, which it brought to a reasonable conclusion. I predict that in future, it'll be looked back on as one of those "single-season wonders." Maybe it's happening already. Link to comment
