I just looked it up, there was an article in Politico (of course) when he started writing for their "Partisan Blog" editorial column. Guess who else writes for that?  Rachel Maddow. And guess what else? As a regular viewer of Rachel Maddow Show, I HAVE NEVER ONCE HEARD HER BRING IT UP. 

I don't even know if she talks about Bag Man that much, the network promotes it more than she does. And she is an actual journalist, putting things in historical perspective, as opposed to Joe just blathering his uninformed opinions.

Who was the woman sitting to the left of David Ignatius today?  Older lady.  Never seen her before.  There was a great deal of sober outrage this morning.  I didn't hear the whole conversation but I presume Fox and trump are now leveling accusations at media outlets and specific people, and this morning's panel was reacting to that?

I know this is an unpopular opinion (different strokes and all) - but as soon as I saw Claire McKaskill this morning I switched to CNN.  Which was depressing; so tuned in to CBS This Morning.   When I switched back to MJ - she was still on.  And seemed to be agreeing with Michael Steele about something; not sure because I switched back to CBS. The show seems so much better when the hosts are sitting at the desk in the New York studio.

There's more evidence coming out re the brothers, Jussie's attorney was on GMA.  Just because Jussie knew them didn't mean they didn't have something to do with it.

I remember when Joe went on a tirade against the African Americans who were upset at the police .  Mika piped in with deragatory comments about the protesters. It got so bad that they had to bring in Al Sharpton to calm them down.

I wondered if these guys started blackmailing Jussie or making threats of violence if he didn't give them money.  Maybe he had met them or they were trainers etc and decided hey we can intimidate this guy and get more money out of him.  They could have hired a couple people to beat him up. 

Rahm Emanuel doesn't have a great reputation in dealing with the Black community in Chicago, so coming out and saying Jussie is this powerful celebrity who got away with a terrible crime is a crock.

How does the party deal?  They are elected representatives doing what their constituents voted them in to do.  They submit bills their constituents support, and some bills pass and some fail.  That's how representation works, Willie.  I would think he would have learned that while working on same show as a former Congressman.

I was not privy to the festivities because I was giving a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses the bum's rush but I recognized the lilt of his voice and it lasted nearly as long as my ordeal on the front porch.

Joe and Chris Matthews!  Just listened to it; for once, Chris found someone that he could not interrupt or talk over.  It was like an accident that you could not look away from.  Mr. Kemper said that Joe was hosting...not Matthews.

So.  I guess Joe does not confine his rants and bloviating to MJ.  He sounds just like he does in the morning; exactly. Same opinions but maybe with a little more humor.  Chris was putty in his hands.  

Since Chris was on MJ this week and now Joe is on Hardball; maybe this crossover will become a regular thing.  I don't mind Joe's opinionating (new word!) in small doses; he can sometimes be effective. In small doses.

I can't remember the name of the guy who comes on the show with charts -- Steve Ratner? -- but he was on there this morning, and I want him to be forced to explain why he said the Green New Deal and Medicare for All are irresponsible proposals. He just rattled that comment off, when comparing them to the "more responsible" policies proposed by "more moderate" candidates like Amy Klobuchar,  Hickenlooper, possibly Bennett, et al.

Ratner and his charts are In Da House. Is he the only talking head today, and now he's the expert on every subject?  Around 7:30 when I was getting ready, he very snottily dissed the things the Dems are trying to do, like Universal Health Care and the Green Deal.  He's a multi millionaire, right?  Things that make you go "hmmmm."

I had to leave this morning around 8:30 (EST); as I was heading out the door, I heard Joe (or Meeeeka) say that Michael Bennett would be on.  I love him!  If I was 30 years younger and had not met Mr. Kemper, I would throw myself at him, including underwear.  I had never seen him until he had that wonderful rant during the shutdown that was caught on Cspan and then went viral.  He is smart, not too hyper-partisan and passionate.  There has been talk of a presidential run. But I don't care about that right now. .......

Because why did the hosts wait until the last half hour to bring him on?  Mr. Kemper said that Bennett was talking health care and was very good.  They can have Ratner (I am fed up with him lately) and all sorts of hangers-on, political shills and cronies shilling their seminars and books.  But not have a sitting US Senator talk at the big boy table.  I am bitter.

A lot of times it could be related to logistics. When the main MJ set is in NY, and the politians are in DC, then they can't be literally "at the table". As far as the time, I am sure a lot of that scheduling has to do with when the politians agree to be on, I am sure that a lot of people find that being ready to be on TV at 6 am is too early.
