Since the orange-faced shitgibbon is at it again, this quote by Michael Fiero from the comment section on Huffington Post says it all:

Schadonaldfreude [ˈShä don uld froi dә]
NOUN - the pleasure derived by democrats and progressives from the extreme discomfort and embarrassment suffered by another person's (especially republicans and conservatives) misfortune. Specifically caused by the presidential candidacy of Donald Trump.

just heard on cnn that the donald wants the upcoming debate to be like wrestle mania..

so i gather he will mudsling, call names, accuse, assume, make innuendos and throw out wild conspiracy theories that madame secretary will have to try and diffuse rather than have any clear policies discussed..

may the good lord have mercy on the american souls.

So to update you all. My dad is doing so well!! He's got his energy back and has tossed away the walker. Still on continuous oxygen but set very low and likely to be set aside eventually. He is like a man let out of jail - wants to join my mom on every errand just to engage with life. (Poor mom. Lol)

It's astonishing. We were having end of life conversations less than one month ago (with his docs) and now he's fully alive (he has challenges - he has heart failure but the underlying problem was fixed and symptoms are being managed). I can actually imagine him on the golf course in the spring.

Whatever happens he's good now. Home and happy!! So I'll take it.

thank you ALL for the Prevert vibes sent our way.

That is fantastic news, just fantastic.  I can only imagine how good you all must be feeling!  Very, very happy for you and your dad and all your family.

miamama, did your cyst/boil/abcess go away?

I think that was Jewel. Thankfully cyst and boil-like annoyances in my life come only in the form of bad soap opera affairs - and those just won't go away. ;)

That's excellent news, Miamama!

Valley, yes I did, thank heavens. I ended up having two abscesses right next to each other. I had never had one before, let alone two of them at once. That was a horrible experience. Fingers crossed I never get another one.

There's a guy who works in a different dept. I say hi and make conversation if we are alone in the break room or in passing. One day when my university came up and he said was a graduate too, which I commented on happily but later admitted he was lying. That seemed very weird to me and kinda offensive.

Anyways I was driving last night at midnight because I had to come in to work (I do pricing and computer stuff for a supermarket). A car was kinda following me a bit tailgating. And I turned into the big lot for my work which has aisles of lanes but was mostly empty since its been closed for hours. There's few street lights around its dark af. I went through past a stop sign and the black car hit police lights on the dash and I could see a man motioning to pull me over.

I did and it was him. And I don't know if he thought it was funny or making a citizens arrest? But he's not a cop he juices the oj/lemons/grapefruit/watermelon ect for our grab and go cooler beverages  and makes like 9.50 or 10.25 hr, so isn't moonlighting for extra dough. Why does he have police lights and siren? And that's not funny if he thought it was. He approached me again later to try to chat and I excused myself.

That is creepy. You need to share this with colleagues/boss ASAP. Trust your gut. His college claim felt off and then it only got more weird. Was he waiting for you at midnight??? WTF?

Seriously. Do not ignore this, Petunia. Tell someone (boss) and have them speak to him so he knows he's being watched/observed.

Also isn't it illegal to have siren etc?

Yea I'm really really creeped out. And I totally think it's illegal and there's no legit reason for a civilian to buy police equipment or use it. I have heard nightmare stories of people buying police sirens and dash lights or fake badges and using it to get others to pull over in desolate areas or let them into their home so they can rob or rape them.

I remember reading about Mitt Romney doing that when he was in college.  His father was the governor of Michigan, so his security detail were uniformed officers.  Mittens would wear a state trooper's uniform that his father gave him, and he had a flashing red light that he put on top of his car, and he would pull over young women "as a joke".  And he used to brag about it to people!

I'm sorry you have to deal with so much workplace dysfunction, Petunia.  Ninja and miamama are right...you probably shouldn't let this slide.

So happy for you all!  We need to keep those vibes alive!

I'm on the host committee for PrevertCon 2017.  Can we use your new yacht as the venue?  I was thinking we could all sail around Manzanilla.  I can't wait to see the cosplay!   Left Phalange will come as Smelly Horse, without a doubt.  And boes will make for a dashing ButtBiscuit!  I hope your freezer is roomy.  We'll need a lot of Grey Goose if movinon RSVPs...

Please tell your boss, or HR, or somebody, and if they blow you off, go to the police. That is creepy AF.

Why, yes!  A 28-foot freezer should be sufficient to hold all of movinon's vodka!  Thanks!  :^)

Petunia13, report this to the police now!  He is impersonating an officer.  That is illegal.  The boy ain't right and and sounds dangerous.

Petunia13, report it to the police ASAP. You don't know that he isn't pulling the fake police thing on other women. There are too many ways that could go wrong for them or for you if he tries it again. I think his behavior has gone beyond HR's purview. Odds are if the real police show up to your work HR will get involved anyway.

holy crap!  apparently there has been an outbreak of "creepy clown" sightings in south carolina and some are getting scared.  i feel they will end up shot if they get too close to someone's house.  at least after reading the comments section..

Today is my birthday. I took a mini road trip with my dog and did a pet store haul. I thought it'd be a ho hum day except the actress who plays drucilla on Buffy followed me on Twitter ? It's funny to visit towns or cities ya used to live in that are different than the one you live at and are used to now. Sometimes places have a totally different character and culture than another community only an hr away.

its a bad quality photo but in the original you can see his eyes and mouth better. He has his eyes a bit widened and mouth set but it's hard to tell in the copy of the copy.

Love the picture! And your dog--so discerning!
