Paramount has purged ComedyCentral.com from existance. And with it, the entire TDS (and Colbert) archives.

25+ Years of Daily Show Clips Gone as Paramount Axes Comedy Central Site

People should ask Jon and Stephen about this during audience Q & A in the coming weeks. Really hope somebody (audience/media) gets comment personally from them and that they are forced to address it on their shows.

I noticed today because my cable company doesn't carry CC, but I always watch the show the next morning on the website.

Recent clips are still on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/thedailyshow

If they don't want to host it *they* should just officially upload all the old clips to Youtube.

Same, @DoctorAtomic. I know I can just watch the YouTube clips, but I watch the episodes while I'm doing something else (dusting, working on a craft project, etc.), so it's nice to be able to hit play and leave it, not individually select each segment.

Which, yes, isn't exactly a "problem." But I hate that everything is getting siloed into a different paywall, and it makes me less likely to want to try Paramount Plus.

I don't really use YouTube this way much myself, but I believe one can create playlists of individual clips  or maybe try the automatic autoplay?

I assume it had something to do with increased security, and the fact that they wouldn't be able to do some of the bits they'd planned.

You are correct. During the Tuesday show Stewart explained that their venue was original within the soft perimeter, but then things changed and the venue would have been within the hard perimeter. Stewart and others felt it would have been close to impossible to do a show under those conditions, so they cancelled Monday and plan to do the rest of the week (Tuesday-Thursday) in New York.

It's corporate media revealing itself. That's all it is. They're not even airing the show tonight? Absurd

Sounds like the team was already in Milwaukee and it just wasn't possible to get everything back and set up in time. They would have had days to do it if the plans hadn't changed.
