Barrowman is holding court at the Nocking Point Mixer right now:

edit: And now he's singing "You've lost that loving feeling" with Stephen.

edit 2: AND "Music of the Night" ::dies::

edit 3: Stephen singing "Do you want to build a snowman", via Robbie's FB's page

Stephen has a great voice, even sick with the "flu". There's really no excuse to not have a musical episode of "Arrow"

Really? I thought Barrowman sings everywhere he goes. Lol

He sang very briefly during his panel, but he was busy mingling at the SJ Nocking Point party. Plus, I'm not sure Brother Sal's (the go-to band for the NP events) repertoire include Broadway musicals.

Note to self: If ever attending another HVFF, choose the one most likely to get derailed by a blizzard. And get there before said blizzard commences. Seriously, their NP party was exponentially more fun than the borefest we had in San Jose.

Songs Oliver might need to add to his playlist. I'm only doing 4 but there are many many more that he might need to give a listen too!

Because You Loved Me - Celine Dion

Aerosmith - I Don't Want To Miss A Thing

We Belong Together - Mariah Carey

Bryan Adams - Everything I Do

And because I know lots of people wanted to know what Stephen thought about that scene at the end of 408:

That scene went through a variety of iterations, the first iteration being very different. The first iteration was kind of a... I want to call it a flippant lie. That was the original script. And my argument was... I wanted to make an argument for omission and basically evading the question as opposed to lying. Which is still technically lying, evading. And we met somewhere in the middle. And um, it was important to the writers that I tell a lie. Because it's obviously going to play somewhere down the road in some way, shape, or form. You don't have a moment like that and not touch back on it in the series.

So... that was a tough one. Because Oliver has gone through a lot this year, and I thought that... you know. That was an unfortunate lie. But it happens.

Judging from how he difficult it seemed for him to explain the lie, I'd say that he doesn't agree with that story decision.

Edit: Much better quality video about the above question here. SA makes some interesting faces while answering

I take back what I said about Stephen being a part of why this happened... Because he sounds like he really didn't want that to happen.

I can totally imagine Guggenheim forcing SA to believe that this is definitely going to happen and SA being SUPER wary about it.

Guggenheim is the worst

Thanks for bringing that over. I still wish he explained what he was trying to portray with Oliver's expression during the nuzzle. Probably doesn't even have an answer for it.

I'm really thinking he was going with Oliver's tendency to compartmentalize.

Also, THIS is why I say Guggie's the worst thing about the show. I personally think Mericle is highly overrated...she gives better interviews, but her story choices are, while better than Guggie's, not always so great, either. But Guggie is THE WORST.

He probably doesn't. Or maybe it was how he was told to play it by the director. In any case, he might not have been able to say what he thought of that because even when talking about the lie, it seems like he was trying to be careful about what he said:

For all that we complain about how stupid the lie was and how much we hate that Oliver has been de-powered to make the newbie masks look good, and how frustrating to watch Oliver keep making the same mistakes, it's got to be just as tough for SA to play him that way.

Knowing how much SA likes Olicity, I could never really imagine him being okay with the lie. I think he always liked the baby mama storyline because he's a dad himself and he wanted to see Oliver being a dad. But the lie wasn't necessary to that part of the storyline and I doubt he wanted that to happen.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't like that he doesn't fight much and has essentially been de-powered out in the field. He wasn't all that pleased that he had time off last season for 310-312 (he said he was glad for the time off at first but in a later interview he didn't seem that happy about missing out), and recently he posted some things in his Facebook memes about Oliver losing his fights too much. I thought that pretty much said it all really.

David R. Liked a tweet calling Olicity fans roaches. Then he Unliked it. He is now on my list of people to unfollow.

For clarification, David Rapaport the casting guy. Not David Ramsey.

I don't think he realized that it is who the tweet was referencing, granted you should not like any tweet that calls any fans roaches.

That entire thing just sounded like a misunderstanding he made worse by the tweets he was liking.

Seriously, nothing the girl said was insulting and nothing Rapport said in response was bad. I don't know why he felt the need to like the tweets.

I chalk it up to him still being new to fandom attention.

Unless he was actually going thru each timeline, I don't think he would know what they normally tweet.

I think he was worried he had offended Laurel fans so he liked tweets that were (agressively) saying the opposite.
