I just rewatched Karen's fan vote video -- talk about a mess!  She falls out of her pirouette and ends up outside the camera's shot.  If that's any indication of her ability, I'm amazed she lasted as long as she did.

If Karen was just cut yesterday, shouldn't the choreographer have said she worked with "41 ladies" (as it was posted the day before Karen's cut).  Makes me think either Courtney or Simeone have already been cut.

Where can I find that video?

Personally, if I were a TCC, I would use the time to binge watch previous seasons of MTT.  I would also watch appearance videos, halftime performances, quarter change routines, etc on YouTube to start

She has NO waist. She's more square than Megan and stockier than Vivian.

Maybe she didn't mean actually cheering ON the squad, but perhaps cheering on the TEAM (like while watching the games).

 

It can be interpreted either way.

 

..anyway, she'll be cut soon. No way she won't be.

Yikes! In her defense I think she means as fan, like I would say "on the weekends I love cheering on the Denver Broncos"

On another note, she is 22??? She looks at least 32 with the dark lip liner, white face powder and brassy hair. Plus she just dresses old, like she shops at Chicos.

Chandler was cut very late (along with Vivian), close to the squad photo...is that who you mean in S9?

Probably. I thought Chandler was cut before Alexandra. I guess I don't remember, but think they were all three cut really close to or during the week of the squad photo. :(

 

And just to weigh in on the "Taylor" issue - I don't know her and she's probably a very nice girl. I would have thought her dress (like above) would be considered low-brow for the DCCs.  Yes, the DCC uniform is very skimpy. But its the portrayal of the girls in the uniform is pretty wholesome, not trashy. Yes, they have sexy pictures - but they still come off as sexy, yet wholesome and intelligent.  The Taylor picture is sex, not sexy. It's different.   

 

Again, Taylor's probably very nice. But to me, she doesn't look like a DCC. I don't wish her ill, and it's JMO! :)

Oh dear! I just went to the DCC twitter page and someone posted yesterday a reply to the last post (about show group) asking if Taylor made it and linking to one of the trashy photos of her.  Yikes!

Oh geez, I wish no one had done that!! Kelli knows everything about everyone...not a chance she doesn't know where Taylor works! it's not like Taylor hides it and I wish people could give her the benefit of the doubt that she will become more professional and classy through an organization like DCC.  Obviously she has some great qualities or else Kelli would not be keeping her this long.  Frankly she has become an underdog for me and I'm rooting for her more than ever!

100% they talked to her, probably one of the first nights like, look, this is not the kind of job we want our cheerleaders being a part of, and making sure she is ready to turn over a new leaf.  I'm sure Taylor is ready to do anything to become a DCC and will take it to heart.  It is laughable though that someone feels they have to tell Kelli about someone's past...LOL  They are masters at finding questionable material on people! 

 

Moving on from the topic of Taylor that has been beaten beyond death....Kashara is still there right? I don't remember her dancing now but man, she is so beautiful.  Ahhh! can't wait for the show to start!!!

Dang. That's messed up. I mean I'm not a Taylor fan at all but I'm sure K&J/Charlotte are well aware of her risqué pictures.

Anyway, after seeing all those pictures I'm pretty positive they have no intention whatsoever of bringing her on to be an ambassador for the team. She is a good hip hop dancer, but she's nowhere near Samantha/Kinzie status to where they NEED her on the team.

I do feel like she will be one of the "feature" girls on the show this season, which at least would be good promo for Traxxas (a company that apparently her bro in law owns?)

Kelli and Judy might have been aware, but they might have hoped these photos and Taylor's past would be something the public would not know about or discover.  This shows them that people are aware and find it completely unacceptable.

It isn't porn so I think it's acceptable. I really don't see much difference in a DCC shoot except the color she's wearing.

 

Generally, it would be acceptable. However, K/J have made it a big deal in the past when DCC candidates had pictures that were slightly suggestive or just a bit "much." Because of that, I think people who watch the show are like "well if [iNSERT TCC] was cut for her pictures, how come Taylor is allowed to stay."

 

I also believe that the person who tweeted the picture to them is a member of this forum. Tacky. I'm sure K/J already know and have seen her pictures. Don't be pressed.

Come on -- DCC is hardly the only job that will take a pass on you because of a Twitter account filled with you dressed as "sexy golfer" or "sexy school girl". It's pretty close to stripper.

And whatever Taylor -- do you, get paid, have fun. No judgment if that is what she is into. But those photos are way beyond just bikini shots, and they aren't going to be a fit for lots of employers.

To each his own. Personally, while I don't think her dancing/look is for DCC, I really don't feel any type of way about her pictures. It's not porn. It's not "wholesome." And if you ask me, some of the "seductive" looks that the DCCs give in their bikini shots can be viewed the same way..very Maxim.

 

Who knows, they may even recognize her attire as being in line with what the profession was.

 

I really don't care; it's just really pressed that someone would try and point it out as if they don't know her or haven't done their own background check on her.

That's a pretty bold accusation. What proof do you have that it was someone here.

If they want to tweet it to Kelli, that's their prerogative. Her photos are 100% public so anyone in the world could see them and report it.

I said I "believe;" I never accused anyone. Of course her photos are public..as they should be..she shouldn't be ashamed. It's just a coincidence that while everyone on here has been discussing her and her photos, someone magically decides to send one to them.

Seriously. All the trash talk is starting to make me 1. Not want to visit this thread at all because it's become all consuming, and 2. Desperately want Taylor to make the team to spite all of her naysayers.

Yes I'm definitely rooting for Taylor. All of the hate for her is really crazy and ridiculous I don't even think cassie or vivan had this much hate. Taylor has been the topic for like the past 3 days on this board it's seriously draining. You would think some ppl know her personally for them to hate her so hard.

I have no opinion about this girl and won't until I see her on the show to actually hear her and watch re dance, but IMHO I think there is a difference between personal racy photos and those that are done for a job. Does anyone know for certain that a girl who waitresses at Hooters could not ever be picked for DCC? I know Kelly said they wanted Danielle to stay away from that, but it is a corporation and a uniform, not porn. Karrissa, Ika, Carla, and Taylor (s6) had personal photos, most of which were of the girls partying. Carla's was just unfortunate since she didn't put them in Facebook but her dancing would have gotten her cut anyway. With the other 3 it seemed the issue was more about poor judgement and the fear of having the girl (and by extension the DCC brand) be viewed as partying.

The costumes for this Trasssax or whatevertheheckitis are just that-- costumes. Costumes of questionable taste for sure. And as some of you have mentioned, the DCC swimsuits are more revealing.

If she's made it this far, it has to be overlooked. She's being judged for her dancing, not her modeling.

But they have to soften her. Her makeup and style make her look 10 years older.

I agree. At the same time, no TCC in recent history has had this kind of public image before. Yes, there have been girls who have had supposedly private photos leaked.

I think the Taylor situation is based on the fact that this is her public image. She has done nothing to try to portray the "girl next door" look.

I think the opinions of Taylor might be different if these were private photos.

Her Instagram is completely public. Her Traxxas profile/photos are completely public.

I think we all need to read posts with a little more open-mindedness. Most people here aren't trying to be mean. We're all fans of DCC and enjoy talking about the squad, the girls, who's going to make the squad, who isn't. Every year there's a couple TCCs that create controversy and extremely diverse opinions. Instead of calling people out, how about countering the opinion diplomatically or just move on? There's been very strong talk about Cassie, Morgan, Vivian, and now Taylor: probably others that I've missed. Instead of pointing fingers, being combative or declaring this is the worst badgering ever, how about we just let a conversation runs its course without finger-pointing and move on.  For every member to weigh in on a topic, it can take a couple, three pages. Let's be patient while everyone has a chance to voice their opinion before declaring to all that the topic has been exhausted (unless a mod says the topic is done. Then it is! lol )

 

We all need to make our POVs as diplomatic as we can, all the while remembering that when fans like us are excited and passionate about something, we tend to voice our opinions enthusiastically and with (maybe) more force than we intended. How about we give one another the benefit of the doubt and quit calling each other out. :)

How many guest choreographers usually come during TC?  Two? or more than that? 

 

And I'm still wondering who was the TCC to wear the wrong shorts first practice LOL

While I agree with what you're saying, I feel like everything you said has already been done, including the mod asking for the subject to be let go for now. Yet it's still being discussed. Anyway, that's all I'm going to say on the matter.

Agreed. But not all members are in here every day, or every week for that matter. They'll want to weigh in on a topic when they do come. That will make a topic seem circular, like its going around in circles. But that's what happens in forums. The topic will eventually drop when most people have chimed in and we'll move on. Those of us who are in here often just need to be patient with a seemingly (to us) repetitive discussion.

I know speculation has been said about possibly Courtney, maybe Simone because of her injury. I haven't seen a lot of stuff about Claire but she is someone I'm iffy on too

I don't even know who Claire is! There are still a lot who I can't tell apart. 

 

Shockers for me would be Chantel or Robin.  They both seem to have the look and the ability so if either of them got cut I give up lol
