I'm not going to get excited for any plan to blindside Joe or Eva.  I think Kyle will not go along with it and they won't get Shauhin onboard.

Yet Eva is openly saying she'll play her idol at the last vote she can for herself or for Joe.  So again, if these people don't take advantage of getting one of them out, they deserve to lose.

Not really. The person going home usually gets a lot of screen time. The editing isn't subtle. Bianca, Chrissy, Star, you name it. Suddenly someone is doing most of the narration. And this week it's Mary.

So maybe Eva then?  I get why they want to target Joe (which is a smart choice) but Eva has two advantages in this game.  I feel like her screentime has been pretty heavy this episode, and she's had a lot of soundbites about feeling safe and confident.  And she revealed what her plans are for her idol.

I mean in past seasons, the episode's boot has still managed to have such a quiet episode, they've had few to no confessionals.  So AFAIC, it's still possible.

She doesn't trust Mary, even though Mary has said that she's open to doing this.  So if Mary goes over Eva or Joe, then it's because they don't trust her and want to go for it next week.

We'd have seen people discussing that possibility if it were going to happen. What they're giving us is Mary or Joe.

Seems like there's still time in the episode though.

Which to me is stupid, because Mary isn't even a threat (much like Star wasn't).  It's so stupid to wait on the next vote when they've had numbers to make a move and keep waiting because "it's not the right time" because they don't like someone.  And they are saying this about a guy whose had an impressive immunity run and his #1 ally who has an idol and SWP advantage.

But we have had instances where we've been surprised at the vote.  It's rare but it could happen.  

And maybe Joe will talk his way out of the game because he can't stand someone (who's pretty much been told she's going to home) is going to write his name down.  Which is a part of the game that seems lost on people.  However, maybe this does end up switching the vote to Eva.

I do like that Shauhin brought up having his name written down, and while I feel like he didn't like it so much when he saw it (again, do people not understand how this game works?) he didn't go all paranoid on everyone.  I'm still not getting exciting, however.

Especially because Kyle's parting words before the commercial were again being unsure if he could flip on Joe.  I'm wondering if Eva ends up playing her idol on him now.  Or gives him the SWP advantage.  That's no good after this TC.  Maybe it won't dawn on her they would vote for her.

TC is starting a little early but I'm still not going to get excited.  I think they shifted heavily towards a Joe vote leading up to TC because it'll be an obvious Mary boot.  These people think there will be a "next time" to make a move.
