JenE4 Tuesday at 02:16 AM Share Tuesday at 02:16 AM The baby is not allowed to watch the bachelor because of “kissing” and yet they taught her to wag her tongue all around to demonstrate kissing?!? Uh… Let’s move on to the big tug-a-war competition. I don’t think “Mormon” is necessarily the issue with this family—they’re just kind of weird. It’s like a chicken or the egg question here—which came first the weirdness or the religion? I guess individually they’re okay. But I just think Grant is fitting in the least with this group. Is anyone even talking to him? We’re just seeing litia’s conversations. whelp, Grant is falling in love with everyone! So who knows?! WatcherUp2 Tuesday at 04:07 AM Share Tuesday at 04:07 AM I fell asleep at some point and when I woke up, I had no idea if it was the same woman he'd been talking to when I zonked out. It's four interchangeable BORING women, with a robotic bachelor. The only slightly interesting thing was that the woman who didn't get a rose was no more upset than if she hadn't clicked with someone speed-dating. 2 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152195-s29e06-week-6/#findComment-8597414

And it is one thing to say they accept him as long as he has faith and another to have to raise your kids Mormon and to have all family activities work in accordance to their religious beliefs, e.g. no booze or even coffee at get togethers. Will he even be able to have those in his own home? Maybe these are compromises he is willing to make, but he needs to be sure. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152195-s29e06-week-6/#findComment-8597690

tennisgurl Tuesday at 08:54 PM Share Tuesday at 08:54 PM It was amazing to see Joey, its like this dull season just had life blown back into it. In his five minutes on screen I actually found myself getting invested, I saw chemistry, the conversation was actually real, I miss him so much. I still feel like I hardly know any of these people and I don't see much chemistry between Grant and any of the women, all of their conversations seem so shallow like they're following a bachelor script, even when it feels like they should have a real conversation, like Dina's family not showing up, they just kind of move past it when you would think that this would be a real moment for a heart to heart. I thought that Grant looked a bit put out during the engagement pictures date, I have no idea if Zoe picked that date or not but it came across as pretty cringe. Its hard to tell with Grant, he always has the same sort of look to him. This season is pretty dull so far, which I guess is better than the last Bachelorette season which was just depressing, but its just not pulling me in. 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152195-s29e06-week-6/#findComment-8597837

Artsda Yest. at 12:47 PM Share Yest. at 12:47 PM Dina should not have made it that far if she was going to have no family for hometown. Zoe is way too concerned with appearances--she is beautiful but she seems very shut down and perhaps even a little depressed? Zoe might just be dull. She’s pretty enough to get attention, but if she were ugly, she’d be a total wallflower. Her only significant screen time this season was when the others were mad at her and she showed a stunning lack of personality on that one group date when everyone else was joking around and giving funny answers, she was sitting there like a bump on a log giving straight, dull answers. And Grant doesn’t have a strong enough personality to draw her out. Quote I still feel like I hardly know any of these people and I don't see much chemistry between Grant and any of the women, all of their conversations seem so shallow like they're following a bachelor script, even when it feels like they should have a real conversation, like Dina's family not showing up, they just kind of move past it when you would think that this would be a real moment for a heart to heart. Yeah, the season feels short but I also have zero interest in seeing any more of it. I expect any engagement resulting from this season to last less than a month. I’m assuming it’ll be Juliana and her ever present implants shoved up to her chin*, standing there spouting instagram cliches and babbling about fairy tales just long enough to get on tv a few more times before they part ways because they have no actual interest in each other. * on that note, was she wearing actual underwear on her 1-1 date? That looked like some kind of shapewear, except that she didn’t wear anything over it. Between Jenn’s disaster season and this dud, the show desperately needs a refresh. There’s not a single contestant from this season that I could even fathom as a possible bachelorette, maybe that’s why they’re taking a break. Possibly going to dig back to a prior season to find someone with a personality. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152195-s29e06-week-6/#findComment-8598327
