Good point. When the COVID lockdowns started happening, my hairdresser started converting a space in her home for clients. But it took a few months of proper forms and approvals from the state plus a formal inspection. It was a whole process.

Right! Like why is she only moving her work stuff out now instead of before Sarper moved to the US and got greeted by, welcome home and oh by the way, you are forbidden from using the kitchen but otherwise make yourself at home!

Damn, just missed a chunk. My mom called me, nothing at all urgent (suggesting  a supplement instead of osteoporosis infusion).  She forgot about my non-Sunday rule. If all goes well I am going to Michigan in 2 weeks for her 93rd birthday and will see my sister and nieces too … I love my mom but she is problematic in many ways! (Postponed my osteoporosis infusion, tres scary, till after I get back.)

Yes, thanks, it was a connector pipe that needed replacing. Plumber came Tuesday. Hopefully not horribly expensive. Fingers crossed, haven’t heard from neighbors downstairs.
