We got our first color TV when shows in color were few and far between. It was always a thrill on Sunday nights when the NBC peacock came on the screen with colorful tail feathers before Disney’s “Wonderful World of Color”

"The following program is brought to you in living color on NBC!" They announced when a show was in color!

I had to go over to the neighbor’s house (they had eight kids so I usually wasn’t even noticed). My parents were too cheap to buy a color TV until much, much later.

Well...there are many things in museums that I wouldn't want in my house.

Lol True. But at least you know they exist.

I think artwork is heavily censored there.

I know. I know. I've calmed down and remembered that his culture doesn't really depict human figures at all. There's beautiful artwork in his culture but it's usually of flowers and shapes. I was just shocked that he's so shocked by what she does.

BTW last week when we were talking about the wordie stuff we have in our houses, I forgot one!

I forgot one I had in my kitchen, a picture of a demure young lady in a big hat, big glasses, and curly hair, captioned "if God wanted me to act like a lady, he wouldn't have created tequila". I have big glasses, curly hair, and at one time loved big hats. And the kicker? The label on the back identifies this character as "Little Bad Susie". A variation on my actual name. I had to.
