We got our first color TV when shows in color were few and far between. It was always a thrill on Sunday nights when the NBC peacock came on the screen with colorful tail feathers before Disney’s “Wonderful World of Color”

I had to go over to the neighbor’s house (they had eight kids so I usually wasn’t even noticed). My parents were too cheap to buy a color TV until much, much later.

I know. I know. I've calmed down and remembered that his culture doesn't really depict human figures at all. There's beautiful artwork in his culture but it's usually of flowers and shapes. I was just shocked that he's so shocked by what she does.
