My Parisian friend is enamoured with the US based on movies etc. Her dad loves Johnny Cash. I’m Canadian but I try to explain that it is a huge country and only  the 1% live that way

Breaks my heart the son has even had thoughts that she loves Maria more than him.  If they don’t get him there quickly, he’s going to be resentful.

They could have been married in France and he could have petitioned for her and both kids under the immediate relative visa. Or, if they've been together for two years, why the hell didn't she apply for the kid's passport long ago? I mean, I presume she'd want to visit Mark at his home at some point before they got married. But why do I ever expect logic or forethought from any of these dopes?
