Alexe, who got the first impression rose forgot what Grant looks like, within hours of meeting him!* Imagine how Grant must feel trying to remember 18 faces.

*I also forgot what Grant looks like, but that’s besides the point.

Oh, damn! Zoe is pulling Grant away in the middle of a competition with children and bringing him upstairs?!?! Oooh! We have out first villain of the season!

Zoe is a wrestler? She’s giving Rated R vibes. Throw waaaay back to Ali’s season. Rated R was a wrestler, who I believe may have been the first branded as There for the Wrong Reasons. We can only hope Grant likewise ends up chasing Zoe to confront her as she hobbles through planters with a leg cast, desperately trying to get into various locked doors of a restaurant trying to escape.

ETA: oh, she’s not a professional wrestler. A model/tech engineer. I guess the wrestling was as a kid.

Alexe brought the llama and ended up at the mall riding fake horses and other creatures. Litia is from Hawaii and what he sees in her is pure desperation which he views as vulnerability.  Her walls are all the way down!

Litia also has zero sense of humor--she was triggered by Grant's compliment--you're so beautiful, nobody has told you no--and took it literally.  That would have made me peace out.

Yeah, I really thought Litia was going to blow it by confronting Grant about that comment, so I was really surprised when it went the other way! Grant is obviously a smooth talker, and you can see him using a lot of his “lines” with the ladies, that obviously being one. It would make me a little concerned that Grant is a player, and maybe worry about what kind of guy HE is, but not go in Litia’s direction of her worrying about what kind of woman he thinks SHE is. And if her intention was to show him she’s not some kind of bossy, controlling woman or something, she really took it way too far in the opposite direction! All I hear is no. Why do you think I’m here? It’s because men leave me! Sob! Nobody wants me! Boo hoo!

Yikes, lady.

Grant is a little too smooth, and he gives me player vibes.  I'm not charmed yet by a few notes on a piano or Grant's singing.  This isn't Star Search, Grant 😏- you're here to make out, listen to sob stories, find a fiancé and break up with her before "After the Final Rose" 🥀😅.  I'm disappointed that he eliminated Allyshia- that gorgeous blonde interior designer from Florida.  She'll be fine! Onward and upward, Allyshia!

I'm surprised he's let a number of the women go that he has. The one woman who was crying so much needs to find a way to quit using the word "like" so much. I'm quickly losing interest in watching any more of this season.

Yep, a lot of the girls say "like" way too much.  It's hard for me to follow or remember their conversations since they say "like" every other word.

Grant is smooth as honey and movie star handsome, but he does seem like he could be a player who is doing this to build a music career as much as he's here to be the Bachelor, but we'll see. If he presents his rose to the winner via song, than we'll know for sure. He seems to have a lot of cool guy lines he has been saying a lot, but its hard not to repeat yourself in this kind of show.

Looks like we have a new villain, we see you Zoe! Although its at least not as bad at Clayton's season where he went off to make out with that seasons villain and totally ignored the other girls and kids and then gave her the group rose, at least Grant gave the rose to a girl who interacted with the kids. She is definitely giving off "I'm not here to make friends" vibes, which doesn't seem like it will work in the long term with Grant, he strikes me as a guy who wants a fellow social butterfly not someone who cant play nice with others. Carolina certainly jumped into villain mode during the group date and even the Jersey Girl seems like she could cause a load of drama later on, but Zoe is still the main baddie as of now.

I thought that Lilita might have overplayed her hand, she majorly overreacted to his "your so beautiful" line, but Grant ate it up. To me, that would be a huge red flag, someone who is always looking to be offended and playing the "you triggered me" to guilt you, but whatever, maybe its just the intense situation.

I guess after the depressingly messy Bachelorette season, I am trying to give people the benefit of the doubt.

He’s very good-looking, but he does absolutely hurl himself onto a piano and launch into song at every opportunity.

I think that since the basketball career (first love) didn’t pan out, he’s on this show to get publicity for what he thinks is his musical talent (second love), and actual female love is a long shot (third love, or no love at all).

New Rule for the show:  No more singers or songwriters.  If you want a musician, there are plenty of tuba players and accordion enthusiasts who are looking for love.  I'm looking forward to The Banjorette.

Does anyone remember “The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart”? It was a one-season spinoff in which aspiring songwriters paired up to “make beautiful music together” both literally and figuratively. At least they knew enough to throw all of their Wrong Reasons famewhores into one show. Unsurprisingly, it was not enough of a hit to warrant a second season.

It would have been renewed if instead of country singers and power balladeers, they gave us a Tibetan throat singer, an Armenian folk singer, a yodeler, a fadista, a Benedictine monk and his Gregorian chants, a Pakistani Sufi singer, and one intimidated hip-hop artist trying to blend it together.

An opportunity missed.

Yes!  I definitely think he gives off player vibes, and he's just on the show to promote his "music"

Let’s be real: a handsome intelligent professional athlete doesn’t need a TV show to find a woman. That man probably has to fight women off.

BUT he is nice to look at so a I’m enjoying him being the Bachelor.  Hopefully whoever he picks has her eyes open herself.

He's not a bad singer, but he's also not particularly good, IMO. It's awkward when he tries to shoehorn the singing into random moments. If this is supposed to be a springboard to a music career, it's not the best showcase.
