ItCouldBeWorse Wednesday at 01:51 AM Share Wednesday at 01:51 AM (edited) A surgeon should not be donating blood on a day where he later will be operating on someone. (Unless there is a patient who will die without a transfusion, and his is the only matching blood available, and then the later surgery should possibly be postponed.) Even perfectly healthy people can feel weak after donating. It's also unlikely that no one on the staff is pregnant, anemic, has a recent tattoo, is on certain medications, is too old, or otherwise has a condition that disqualifies them from donating blood. I actually thought Joyce was going to try to get to over 100% by asking the officer to donate (also a no-no.) I’m not sure how these things work, but do you get credit toward the “donation percentage” if someone volunteers to donate, but gets ruled out at some point in the process? And with that, I’ve spent too much time thinking about this. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151403-s01e07-50-cc%E2%80%99s-of-kindness/#findComment-8554779

KeithJ Wednesday at 04:24 PM Share Wednesday at 04:24 PM I know it's a comedy and you have to suspend belief but how the hell did the nurse immediately not know she was taking blood from a fake arm? 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151403-s01e07-50-cc%E2%80%99s-of-kindness/#findComment-8555124
iMonrey Wednesday at 05:26 PM Share Wednesday at 05:26 PM Maybe I was just in the right mood for it but I thought this was a pretty funny episode. Whoever wrote it should write all the episodes. Loved Alex and Matt's futile attempts to find common ground with the inmates. And the kid watching Bruce's fake arm fall off. The guy playing the prison guard looked so familiar. I looked him up, he's been in lots of things I've watched but no one thing stands out. I guess it's another case of "hey it's that guy." Sounds like Joyce needs to dump her boyfriend. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151403-s01e07-50-cc%E2%80%99s-of-kindness/#findComment-8555164
possibilities Wednesday at 07:11 PM Share Wednesday at 07:11 PM I kept waiting for us to find out that the beef between the inmates was legit. Maybe one of them actually did do something terrible to the other. Even if they were actual siblings, a decent parent finds out what they are fighting about, and whether one of them actually does need to apologize and make amends. You don't just tell them they are siblings and should get along. So now I think Head Nurse is a bad parent. Just telling people to "make nice" without addressing their actual complaints, and not proposing actual strategies for conflict resolution, is like trying to stop an infection by yelling at it to stop hurting its host. I remember him being one of the Mercy West doctors who was killed by the gunman on Grey's Anatomy. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151403-s01e07-50-cc%E2%80%99s-of-kindness/#findComment-8555795

I think it was as simple as the fact that they were in rival prison gangs and wanted to kill each other. Nothing deeper than that. Alex and Matt were trying to play the "hey we're not so different from each other" card. possibilities Yest. at 05:19 PM Share Yest. at 05:19 PM I know that's what they were doing, but I thought it was lazy writing and not very interesting or funny. I wanted them to zig when I expected a zag. Like them wanting sushi-- that was a surprise. And them telling the doctor smoking is not only prohibited, but is also bad for your health. I thought comedy was supposed to be unpredictable. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151403-s01e07-50-cc%E2%80%99s-of-kindness/#findComment-8556415
Harvey 9 hours ago Share 9 hours ago Seems like there is no media thread for this series but it was just renewed for season 2. I'm not surprised but I do hope they refine the writing next season to make it funnier. The seeds are there but they need to grow it. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151403-s01e07-50-cc%E2%80%99s-of-kindness/#findComment-8556975
