I think it was extremely brave of Erin to share her abortion story and it was hard watching the scenes with her father knowing he recently passed.

There's a lot of chemistry with Jenna & Raquel. The way they kept touching each other at the art gallery and Jenna's admitted crush/hallpass.

It appeared to me like Jenna was trying to convey (without directly saying it) that Erin's heart is the right place, while Brynn's the one you need to watch out for. If so, that made me happy because I haven't liked the way Brynn's treated Jenna at all and wasn't sure Jenna was fully aware.

Erin does that classic Housewives move when she's caught out, of acting like She's the wronged party and getting angry at everyone else for hurting Her. And they all let her go. Such bs with 'we have different definitions of being in on it'. Bitch, pleaze. You stuck your foot in your mouth and everyone knows it. She really can't stand being wrong. Its not even that deep. Just say, you're right, I gave it away to Brynn and I messed up the prank/test. No one would've been that pressed about it, but you Lie and then throw a toddler fit. I'd never have let her get away with that.

The Scientologist is Very trained in how to word salad around questions. Notice she didn't say, like a normal person ,'aliens? That's ridiculous and weird!' She said it sounded cool. Yea she's All In and so is her Money.

Brave of Erin to tell her story, but did it have to be her? Lol nothing she does seems authentic to me.  But props to her. Also, brave of Jenna to share her story, as well. As its already been proven by our past, outlawing abortion doesn't eliminate it. Just makes it more dangerous.

Erin is not innocent. She is messy, as well.

One in four women, by the time they are 45 years old, will have had an abortion?

I don’t think that’s true.

I remember that Harris Wittels said on a podcast that when Scientologists are asked about the aliens, they are supposed to deflect!  They don’t outright say “no aliens!”

I find Erin so inauthentic.  She does nothing out of the goodness of her heart.  She was “approached by Glamour” because her GOOD FRIEND is the editor!  🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Also she kept saying that she is still very upset about the abortion and I don’t know if she is the right person to tell the story if it still bothers her.  That might not be great for an 18 year old to hear, right?

That didn't sound true to me either, but I googled and found that stat. It's apparently from 2014 data. I'm sure it's less common now with more limited access.

Do you have a link to the source information? I couldn’t find information on the % of US women who have had abortions but did find other data from the Pew Research Center which is highly regarded.

I googled "one in four women America abortions" and got results from various sites, but it looks like the source of the stat is the Guttmacher Institute. I agree that it seems high, not sure what to believe.

Thanks for the information- reading their methodology for their data as I am a geek.

I wonder if they are using some kind of figure like x amount of people talk about it, the number of people who have had them but don’t talk about is y..  but then I realized that they do have the actual figure.

I really appreciate the candor of both Erin and Jenna. Erin in particular really grabbed at my heart strings with her vulnerability and honesty (said by a non Erin fan who usually finds her trite and boring). This is not a political forum, but certainly around the country this topic in particular is of great concern. The last scene with her dad was very sad, he had lost a substantial amount of weight, and was clearly very ill. But I did appreciate how supportive he was, and then shared his own story. So many people have one.

The flirtation between Jenna and Raquel was interesting, as was the hall pass comment. I can’t say that the two of them would not make a bit of a sexy situation but I love Mel so we’re gonna leave that one alone lol.

Although this season is tanking in the ratings and is not really garnering much support amongst viewers, I do think that this episode in particular shined a light on how good it can be when the women get honest and stop with all the foolish pranks. I can’t imagine in a million years the old crew having conversations like that….  Well done on Erin’s  part, and I thought this was a really good episode (except all the pigeon stuff, I’m soooo sick of anything pigeon related and I fast forwarded thru Ubahs fertility appointment).

I appreciated the show delving into a real, albeit painful, topic of abortion instead of only focussing on the typical shallow nit picking arguments. It’s nice to see these women being real. I was actually surprised the show went there.

I was surprised, as well. The show (those first episodes) was superficial, and mostly stupid.

Not only Jenna and Erin mentioned they had abortions, but Erin's mother, and one of her father's girlfriends had one, as well.

My god, can they come up with something better than selfish 40 year old morons discussing their fibroids and need to have a baby?
Erin is gross. Why would she tell her sickly dad about a college abortion? Then she outed her moms abortion too.  I don’t watch these shows to be schooled by assholes like Erin.
Bravo aired some old episodes from the season where LuAnn was in love. Such an easier show to follow back then.
