Thought it was either the boyfriend or the author until the second girl was snatched.  Was really shocked that the missing girl essentially kidnapped herself and the other girl just to copy Gabi.

Although I've been annoyed by Margaret's attitude toward Gabi, I give her great props for not being scared of Sir and still managing to read him.  In fact, it was good seeing Sir interact with anyone but Gabi or Lacey.  But Margaret losing her right to go into the bus station?  Oof.  Such a blow.

So Sir saved Charlotte rather than the team saving her?  Talk about a plot twist!  I guess that the other Gabi is going to prison?

So now Dhan's in the doghouse with Ethan because he told him about Sir after he told the team?  And he didn't even tell the team!  Gabi did!  He should've just told Ethan that!

Good episode.

I kind of loved Sir being two steps ahead enough to find the actual kidnapped girl, rescued her, and had her record a video to make him look good. And to also make Lacey look bad since that girl's video started off like hers.

I didn't catch on to the first girl being the kidnapper until we saw the pictures of the bf and the other girl. That's when I was like omg she faked her kidnapping to get at the other girl. I guess I should have realized when there were two mentions of her quick temper.

There was a lot about tempers in this episode. Dhan snapping on the group for being icy about Gabi. And there was Gabi getting on them for doubting her Sir expertise and wanting to turn to some guy who wrote a book about her & Sir without even meeting Sir.

Finally Margaret...every week I complain about her but seriously, at least at the end of the episode Lacey realized she needed more help. When is Margaret going to come to the same conclusion? She assaulted the janitor for moving a flyer and then harassed him on the phone because she couldn't handle not being at the bus station. She didn't care about what she did to him, she just wanted to be back there.

It was nice to see Dhan's husband again because I forgot what he looked like. LOL! I'm guessing these cracks in the relationship are going to get even bigger when he finds out Trent is investigating Dhan for helping Gabi.

I'm curious as to why, when Gabi said that Hugh Evans knows that names have power, why the staff at M&A still call him Sir when he has identified himself publicly with his given name.

And why do the TV police always use their red lights/sirens when approaching an isolated house on a long back road with no traffic?  Just in case they can alert any suspects to their presence so they can make an escape?

I think that author is a good candidate for Evans' accomplice.

Is there any computer anywhere that Zeke can't hack? At some point it's ridiculous. Are they really so casual about hacking into the DC police system?

STFU Margaret. Gabi deserves prison but you can whack people on the head and stalk them for no reason?

Is anyone else weary of the final scene in prime time shows where the cops wonder out loud where a kidnapper would take a victim and someone notices a framed photo of a cabin? Do all kidnappers just happen to own remote cabins in woods?

Fuck that author! What a scumbag! He exploited a vulnerable teen to make a buck.

Sir hates Lacey with the fire of one thousand suns, the rescue of Charlotte was a big "Fuck You" to her for putting him on blast earlier.

It was definitely Lena that was patching him up.

Pretty original way to give someone a "fuck you," though.  I'll give Sir that.

Yeah, I think so too. They made a big deal of showing the hands in gloves so you couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman but the hands still looked like a woman's to me.

I also think that him rescuing the girl was a way to rehabilitate his public image and call Gabi's and Lacey's credibility into question. You just KNOW there are people who will say: "Look at what a great guy he is! The poor man has had to go into hiding because these girls made up some terrible story about him and have been milking it for years!"

When they showed Margaret at the police station in the beginning, i thought maybe it was going to be one of those "starting at the end" eps. Where whatever happened in the case led to Margaret being arrested. Nope!

When they were asking kidnapped teen Gabi's mother about whether she had a temper, at first, I thought they were going in the direction of her having dissociative identity disorder. Nope, though she was the kidnapper.

I agree that it's good Lacey admitted at the end that she needed help. She clearly doesn't seem to be taking her safety seriously by dancing around in the rain and wandering out of Zeke's place on her own in the other episode. And agreed that Margaret really needs help--maybe this will be a wake-up call for her? I feel like Gabi should tell her she needs to get help in order to keep working there, but, obviously, Gabi needed help herself before she kidnapped Sir.

I'd also forgotten what Dhan's husband looked like! And I thought maybe they'd already split up. Not sure if they'll survive this.

Pretty good episode.

It was a shock to see him talking to someone other than Gabbi or Lacey.

I didn't remember him at all. I even wondered if it was a different actor.

Almost immediately I figured the girl had faked the kidnapping. I don't know what gave it away to me. I guess I thought it was because she was using the same name as Gabbi and was introverted.

I actually liked the ep. I'm still annoyed by Margaret, and Lacey is getting on my nerves, too.  I know they're both damaged, so I should be more sympathetic.

I thought something was suspicious about the kidnapping becausae I thought a real kidnapper would not leave the chloroform behind.

Margaret was in therapy, wasn't she? And it was helping, and then she stopped going. Or was that some other show? I forget things during the hiatus but I'm pretty sure that happened.

I thought Dhan told his colleagues about his part in the kidnapping because people who are struggling with trauma often tell the other traumatized people in ther support group before they tell anyone else. Shouldn't his husband be able to understand that? He's a therapist, right? I don't like that he kind of talks to Dahn like he is Dahn's therapist, not his partner. It's condescending and it squicks me out. I do like when the seem to love each other, but I didn't like hubs this episode.

Everyone is spiraliing except Zeke. Him copping a feel on the rain at the end of the episode was nice.

She was in therapy last season. I think the therapist had her spend less time at the bus station, like she went an hour or so later than usual? I'm sure she stopped going after finding out about Gabi and Sir so the set back is something else she can blame on Gabi.

I really like Lacey realizing she needs help. Good for you Lacey.

I really wish Margaret had that same realization. "He touched Jamie's paper" So you attacked him? Good God Margaret don't you think that was extreme? Then she keeps calling him to explain. Yeah, is harrassment because you keep calling him. Do you really think he's going to understand why? You attacked him. I hope they do something different or more with Margaret because when Sir showed up I was hoping he would kill her. That's how much she annoys me with her 'tude towards Gabi and issues with her dealing aftermath of Jamie's disappearance or Dhan not telling his husband. Basically Margaret in general is annoying me.

I'm actually surprised she didn't take Sir up when he said he could find Jamie. But then again the only other thing Margaret has is her righteous 'tude to Gabi.

I was with Gabi when she yelled at her team for not believing her opinions about Sir. Yeah, she does know him.

Very interesting that the kidnapper was also the other Gabi. I really did assume it was the true story author but this was more interesting.

I forgot Dhan was married. I'm glad his husband took the news well.

Weird seeing Sir interact with other cast members bc it didn't dawn on me till I recently saw a interview with MPG that the 1st season he  never had screen time with the other main cast members except the 2 Gabi's.

He did until he found out that Dhan told the team before he told him.  That he didn't take well.

Fascinating and good episode and it went in unexpected ways. I initially thought teen Gabi could have faked her own kidnapping but then I started suspecting the author. I did not expect Sir to solve it and rescue the other girl. Twisty!

Could someone refresh my memory -- who is Lena?

We don't know yet. Sir mentioned the name when he talked with his brother a couple episodes ago.

It's not just about hoping that her son will show up.  It's about trying to remember details about the bus station in case something comes back to her and might help her find out what happened to him.

My guess is because that would mean humanizing him by referring to him by his real name.  If I were a worker at M&A, I would agree that Sir does not deserve to be considered human.

She certainly looked like a whacko when she was hitting that guy with her handbag for removing those tabs she had posted and it's really been a long time since he disappeared.

Certainly.  Still, the show wouldn't be having her still going to that bus station if she isn't going to get Jamie back at one point.  Sir's already dangled the possibility in front of her, after all, so maybe in the future . . .
