This episode was ridiculous. Just nonstop foolishness.

The moment the family said they wanted to keep the building in the family, I knew Blondie was the culprit.

When I saw the case I assumed some sort of hallucinogen. I just assumed something in the paint because those hallways were dark and ugly as hell I just assumed it was full of lead

Does carbon monoxide cause hallucinations? In college we had a CO leak in our apartment and I all I remember is a headache and getting sleepy. Also, Mel giving Robyn her scarf to cover her face seemed weird because I don't think cloth masks work at filtering out carbon monoxide.

And that's before we get to the end. The insanely rushed end where Blondie does a whole villain monologue and has henchmen ready to shoot her idiot husband. Henchmen who get taken down by Robyn while Ajay hangs from his fingertips from the side of the building for a good five minutes. (People hanging from ledges by their fingers is a particular pet peeve of mine. Most people couldn't do it.)

Unless something changes dramatically, I'm okay with this being the last season

This show is very dull.

Before I came to these forums I honestly couldn't remember anything about this episode other than the unnecessary D stuff.   I kept telling myself "I know I watched and I know there was a COTW ...."  all I could remember was that there was a woman in the bar to see Robyn and Dee took out her braids.  Really worthwhile stuff here :-)

Am I mistaken - was Mel, kickass woman, and Soldier of Fortune, taking a yoga/meditation class from Dee, the highschool kid, or was it the other way around?    Because if Mel was taking the instruction from Dee, it adds to the stupidity of the episode.

As much as I love the cast of this show, it's becomming hard to watch.

I thought it was the other way around - Mell was instructing.

Anyone else only get the last part of the show when they recorded it?

CBS airs football on Sunday afternoons, meaning everything is likely to get delayed.  So you should record the next show after this one to make sure you get all of it.  Or watch on Paramount Plus or CBS.com after it airs.

I'm still enjoying the show.  This episode, however, was ridiculous.  Since they wanted a Halloween episode but the show is firmly grounded in reality, I too assumed it was some kind of deleterious substance in the apartment building.  I thought it was some kind of gas leak.

It was obvious that Blondie was the villain.  The building owner hanging by his fingertips (especially when he only held on with one hand!) was truly ridiculous.  After Robyn wrapped the extension cord around the henchman's neck, I thought she was going to throw the cord over the edge to the owner, who would climb up with the rope secured to the heavier henchman.

I like the interactions between Robyn, Vi and Dee.  I didn't think Dee's concern over her boyfriend not texting was annoying, it seems like a very real situation that most kids her age might face.

I am sure that Vi is going to have cancer.  Poor Vi.  I hope they don't drag out her telling Robyn though.  Character getting constantly interrupted when trying to share "important news" is an overused TV trope.

I love Delilah’s new hairstyle! That’s the only good thing I can say about this episode.

I like her new/old hairstyle, it is a bit like Vi's and it looks similar to how she looked when the show premiered.
