marceline October 28 Share October 28 This episode was ridiculous. Just nonstop foolishness. The moment the family said they wanted to keep the building in the family, I knew Blondie was the culprit. When I saw the case I assumed some sort of hallucinogen. I just assumed something in the paint because those hallways were dark and ugly as hell I just assumed it was full of lead Does carbon monoxide cause hallucinations? In college we had a CO leak in our apartment and I all I remember is a headache and getting sleepy. Also, Mel giving Robyn her scarf to cover her face seemed weird because I don't think cloth masks work at filtering out carbon monoxide. And that's before we get to the end. The insanely rushed end where Blondie does a whole villain monologue and has henchmen ready to shoot her idiot husband. Henchmen who get taken down by Robyn while Ajay hangs from his fingertips from the side of the building for a good five minutes. (People hanging from ledges by their fingers is a particular pet peeve of mine. Most people couldn't do it.) Unless something changes dramatically, I'm okay with this being the last season 6 Link to comment

Before I came to these forums I honestly couldn't remember anything about this episode other than the unnecessary D stuff. I kept telling myself "I know I watched and I know there was a COTW ...." all I could remember was that there was a woman in the bar to see Robyn and Dee took out her braids. Really worthwhile stuff here :-) 1 Link to comment
KWalkerInc October 30 Share October 30 I don't like where they appear to be headed with Aunt Vi. I'm sure it will be well-acted, but still...very sad. The fact that she was interrupted and didn't tell Robyn that she needed a biopsy makes it feel even more likely that she will have cancer. 2 1 Link to comment
12catcrazy October 30 Share October 30 Am I mistaken - was Mel, kickass woman, and Soldier of Fortune, taking a yoga/meditation class from Dee, the highschool kid, or was it the other way around? Because if Mel was taking the instruction from Dee, it adds to the stupidity of the episode. As much as I love the cast of this show, it's becomming hard to watch. Link to comment

Johannah November 3 Share November 3 Mine cut off, too, but I figured what would happen and you all confirmed it. Is the pic above Delilah 's new hairstyle? I expected something off the wall. Added half an hour to future eps. Did this show and Tracker switch times? Because I have that one with the added time from last year. Link to comment

Daff November 4 Share November 4 Quote: because I don't think cloth masks work at filtering out carbon monoxide. You are correct. Additionally, there wouldn’t be much time for all that fearful staggering around, the victims would have dropped, unconscious. Lastly, they would have exhibited “cherry red” lips and tongue. CBS airs football on Sunday afternoons, meaning everything is likely to get delayed. So you should record the next show after this one to make sure you get all of it. Or watch on Paramount Plus or CBS.com after it airs. On 10/28/2024 at 1:24 PM, marceline said: This episode was ridiculous. Just nonstop foolishness. (People hanging from ledges by their fingers is a particular pet peeve of mine. Most people couldn't do it.) Unless something changes dramatically, I'm okay with this being the last season I'm still enjoying the show. This episode, however, was ridiculous. Since they wanted a Halloween episode but the show is firmly grounded in reality, I too assumed it was some kind of deleterious substance in the apartment building. I thought it was some kind of gas leak. It was obvious that Blondie was the villain. The building owner hanging by his fingertips (especially when he only held on with one hand!) was truly ridiculous. After Robyn wrapped the extension cord around the henchman's neck, I thought she was going to throw the cord over the edge to the owner, who would climb up with the rope secured to the heavier henchman. I like the interactions between Robyn, Vi and Dee. I didn't think Dee's concern over her boyfriend not texting was annoying, it seems like a very real situation that most kids her age might face. I am sure that Vi is going to have cancer. Poor Vi. I hope they don't drag out her telling Robyn though. Character getting constantly interrupted when trying to share "important news" is an overused TV trope. On 11/8/2024 at 9:05 PM, juliet73 said: I love Delilah’s new hairstyle! possibilities November 15 Share November 15 I think Dee's hair always looks good, this way or that way. I laughed when I read the idea of using the henchman's body as a counterweight. Sometimes I think this show would be better if it took itself less seriously while acting absurd. So a little MacGuyvering like that might have improved things. 1 Link to comment
