chitowngirl October 27 Share October 27 NCIS is called in to investigate when a lieutenant returns home on Halloween Eve to find a surprise party being thrown for someone else at his home. 1 Link to comment
dttruman October 27 Share October 27 I haven't watched in awhile now, but I wonder if they are going to have one of the members of the team dress provocatively like they have in past Halloween parties at NCIS? 1 Link to comment
Grizzly October 29 Share October 29 It was good to see Donna Mills. She didn't look much different from Knots Landing. But she sounded like her teeth were clenched while speaking. The case was meh. It was nice that they did something special with Ducky's office. Glad to see the team photos were still there. 3 Link to comment
Daff October 29 Share October 29 Count the references to creepy movies (both visual and verbal). The title is Hitchcock (The Trouble With Harry). I think they had fun with this. Nice that everyone’s preferences were accommodated in Ducky’s Place. 9 Link to comment
MissLucas October 29 Share October 29 (edited) Halloween episodes tend to be 'special' and but this was pretty decent. I'm not a fan of horror movies so I probably missed a lot of allusions. But it's a neat idea to honor the tradition. I liked the scene between Knight and Torres at the Hunting Lodge even though I think that whatever's up with Torres needs a bit more than working out and dating. But I wish Jimmy and Knight would finally get their ship back in order. McGee is clearly not okay with Mint Muncher getting that job and Parker knows it - that look he gave him when he did not react to Torres' being a bit over enthusiastic with the wanna-be bouncer says it all. And I don't think he believed a word out of McGee's mouth when he later brought it up. I loved the call back to the episode with Parker in the ship. I remember thinking when he mentioned Shelley Winters and the Poseidon Adventure that he's lucky Knight hadn't seen the movie. Glad she caught up LOL! As for the spooky girl (Lily) - this show is a tad too much in love with giving its main characters dramatic and guilt-ridden backstories but we'll see where that goes. Not gonna lie - I got a bit teary eyed during the last scene. I just hope Kasie manages to find the place empty from time to time. Edited October 29 by MissLucas 6 Link to comment

I got a "vibe" from this scene ~ and I hadn't thought this way before ~ that Torres might be sweet on Knight, and maybe it's reciprocated? Not only does Torres admit that he'd like to be in a relationship, but also Knight says how much Torres supported her in breaking up with Jimmy and taking the California job. I hope this doesn't happen, because it's just too complicated (to say the least!), but I do like that Torres is starting to become more introspective and (gasp!) sensitive. Edited October 29 by TeapotDiva Duh, forgot to mention that Torres was the one who raised the subject of relationships! 5 Link to comment
twoods October 30 Share October 30 I hope they don’t go the Torres/Knight route because I would hate to see a sad Jimmy. It’s nice to have two (now) single characters just be coworkers and friends for a change. I liked seeing the guest stars being recognizable but not bad guys. I will never complain seeing Justin Bruening’s gorgeous face on my screen. 5 Link to comment

I hated that they were starting down that path with Bishop. But really, all these people need to date outside the office. 4 Link to comment

rr2911 November 3 Share November 3 I also got that feeling that Torres might be interested in Knight. I think they make a better couple and they mesh together better than Knight and Jimmy. Jimmy is a goody two shoes type of guy. Maybe he needs someone that understands him? I would rather have no love fling among the NCIS employees! Other than the ending of this episode when McGee is looking up Muncher, this episode was rather dull. Leave it to Kasie whom I don't like to mess everything up about Ducky's office. I thought it was kind of ridiculous with their decision. I thought it should've been left the way it was. Jimmy was probably closer to him than anyone there. When is Kasie leaving? Link to comment

Agree that the 10-second ending setting up LaRoche was the most exciting part. Everyone HAD to have their personal talky time not-so-skillfully shoehorned into this episode. A waste of 5+ minutes with Torres'. Next episode, from the previews, we can expect 10+ minutes wasted on jessjimmy having "The Soaps Talk" part 1! Gross. 1 Link to comment
