Hola my snarky pals! How's everyone's week been? Have you paid sufficient attention to your hair extensions and made sure you got the corner cubicle? Do you have baby fever?

Update since I know you've all been lying awake at night going "What's going on with Pepper this week?": Bathroom renovation moving along well, the drywall is going up and the plasterers will be in on Monday. I'll be at the paint store Monday to pick out my paint and drop it off. I could be home by next weekend! I miss my home and all my nice things, can't wait to get back. 

My brother and I have been cleaning and scrubbing my mother's house. She is still in rehab and will be there till at least the 28th. She is not having an easy time of it, though. Sometimes she's pretty lucid and sometimes she's super confused and petulant, demanding to go home and not understanding that she needs to have physical therapy and get mobile again. Sigh.

I'm back after 2 Fridays in lockup (aka visiting my in-laws). I am sorry to report that I did not see any of my husband's high school girlfriends to fight nor did my mother-in-law try to fight me. It was very disappointing.

I was just in time to see Daniel attempt to explain to a human shaped void that it would not be smart for her to get pregnant right away. I don't think a urologist says sperm that many times in a few minutes. 

And on to candidates for the world's shittiest parents. Yep, Life After Lockup!

I missed all of you lovely people last week because I lost my TV remote, and I hadn't yet figured out that I can use an app on my phone to turn on my TV, and it even has voice controls! 

I got the covid shot yesterday, so I'm dragging today. I'm ready for the weekend, so I can sit around and do absolutely nothing.

Yeah, we're well prepared for that. Fortunately there's enough money to take care of her at home for several years yet, even if we need to hire people to be here overnights. My brother has been an absolute boss when it comes to managing the money.
