I knew a couple that would FB post to each other many times a day. One of them finally lost their job over it. The boss pointed out that posting on average ten times a day meant they weren't doing their job. After all of their OTT schmoopy, love of my life postfests, they broke up.  I will admit that the schadenfreude was wonderful.

Good question. I think that the interest accrued is fixed at the time of judgment, but I could be wrong.
