Galileo908 September 30 Share September 30 Feels like the end of the last season was just yesterday. Onward to season 15! Neighbor: America's Got Mallets Exterminator: So I Married A Rat's Murderer Burger of The Day: The Brother Can You Asparagus A Dime Burger, The Ciabatta Be Kidding Me Burger, The Arugulas of Engagement Burger, Mozz Landing Burger. There was a Jury Duty pun one, but I couldn't see the whole thing. Not shocked that the computer game that self-diagnoses your mental illness was inaccurate. Louise a conformist? Jocelyn an introvert? It was right on the money about Rudy's aggressiveness, though. And of course there really was a human behind it, Henry. I liked hearing Linda and Bob's interpretations of horror movies. I'm a horror wimp, I'd believe the Saw movies were literally about stuff someone saw. "Excuse me, our father's a beta with no back end!" "But your neck is better turtled." I missed Jocelyn, and Andy & Ollie having screentime. 5 Link to comment

DoctorAtomic September 30 Share September 30 I like picking out the Great North voices. Beer is only 4 bucks too! The game was kind of Oregon Trail in space. I thought it was a good idea. Regular Sized Rudy is Aggressive Rudy! I liked the B plot with Bob and Linda telling Teddy fake movie plots. They all liked it. What's the harm? That Bob and Linda can't get over themselves and have to compete. But they were having fun. Clever Tina to get Frond to do himself in. It was good to have the main plot entirely in the school. I'm always for the kids being the main driver of the show. 5 Link to comment

I need to go back and look for that. Get On Up Chuck was an easy but funny joke. I loved that we could see Frond's stubble, even if Tina couldn't. I wanted to hear Zeke's squeaky sneakers. :( "The final Frond-tier, more like Fraud-tier." I'm with Teddy: I can't watch scary movies because I'll either have nightmares or lay in bed thinking about having nightmares. But I do sometimes read plot summaries of some scary movies because I'm curious. Bob did really good making stuff up, and I got a kick out of him and Linda cancelling out each other's story elements. "This is the best movie I've never seen!" 2 Link to comment
tennisgurl September 30 Share September 30 That was a really fun opener, I loved having the A plot at the school with so many of the kids, I feel like its been ages since we got a school plot with so many of the kids friends and teachers. We also got a win for Tina, she IS actually a truth finder! Bob and Linda's fake horror movies sounded pretty awesome, a Halloween movie set 100 years ago sounds like a lot more fun than a lot of the things the real Halloween franchise has done. I love that Mr. Frond had to surrender his turtleneck when he got caught. 1 Link to comment

Freaking teases. 3 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic October 7 Share October 7 I haven't been to a drive in decades. I actually saw Star Wars (before it was called A New Hope) in the drive in. In my city, there is still a drive in. They play first run movies. Not the opening weekend, but shortly after. During covid, they had high school graduations at the drive in. I liked how Bob opened the back of the car for the kids to sit instead of sitting in the car. Rudy should have totally been invited. They don't really have Gene and Louise being afraid of Tina. Teddy's mom ate a gummy? Weed is legal there? Ramona was like Kima on Great North. I don't know if she was the same voice actor, but the flat affect, kind of chill delivery, reminded me of Kima. Teddy's mom should be like Vera on Cheers. 4 Link to comment

peeayebee October 7 Share October 7 I'm glad Tina knew right away that Louise and Gene had eaten candy, AND that she threw the fart-blanket back over Louise. Boy, do I get frustrated when people text unclearly. It doesn't seem hard to me, but I guess I just take more time to compose and type the text, whereas for a lot of people speed is more important. Anyway, I loved how Maryanne responded about the tables so vaguely. Linda saying ugly puppies are a "Scooby-Don't" is pretty funny. It's been ages since I went to a drive-in. I was never a fan. Also, I thought they charged by the car, not by the number of people. I guess I'm wrong. 4 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic October 7 Share October 7 Sometimes autocorrect trips you up even if you think you're paying attention. I think the problem was that Linda was in the two different chat groups and there was just too much chatter. It wasn't her fault the answer about the tables was so vague. It sounded like just too many people were involved for what seemed to be a simple task. We have a group creating an educational certificate, and there's just too many people involved. Three of us could get it done, but it's been months and they're still dithering over how many hours. Link to comment
tennisgurl October 9 Share October 9 I love drive-in theaters, we have one about thirty minutes from me and its a lot of fun, I usually go once or twice every couple months. They show new movies but also have theme nights where they show older movies, its a very fun time. They do quite well but if they didn't I would be with Bob trying to save it, its such a fun vibe. I loved seeing some nice memories that Bob had, there was something so sweet and wistful about those flashbacks, especially the music playing. We see a tiny bit of Teddy's mom...at least her hat. It sort of gave me Psycho vibes, Teddy is your mom just a propped up corpse? Is everything alright? 1 1 Link to comment

I wasn't as a bad as Teddy, but it's not fun. We've got another school plot. Louise's idea was good, but I was with Zeke with the mooning. They wouldn't have used it on the web site though. Corgi-ears October 21 Share October 21 Why, I guess that an eye that swells up from a bee sting can indeed look like a butthole. Thanks, show, for pointing that out to me! The silhouette of Bob in the shower seems to be...missing...an appendage. But this is a family show. When the bereaved daughter clarified that she told Mort that they didn't need the shampoo bottle back because it didn't have much more in it, I hope she just means "that bottle," and that she and her siblings have at least one more bottle of that shampoo so that their dad can sniff his beloved wife anytime he wants 😭. (Though I suppose he can just come to the restaurant and hope that...Bob never washes his hair again?) 1 Link to comment

The second the daughter asked if her father could sniff Bob's hair, I teared up. Tina (I think): Your hair has a lot of body. Gene: And your body has a lot of hair. Cracked me up that Teddy gets Kathleen nuts and seeds after a colonoscopy and that his playlist includes Brown-Eyed Girl and The Long and Winding Road. :D The cop loving to do escorts -- and having become a cop so he could do that -- was great. When Linda rear-ended him I gasped, covered my face, and laughed. I think she said, "Why did you stop?" and he answered, "There was a car in front of me." That the other cop knew exactly what was up after Linda mentioned going to pick up Kathleen was perfect. "Earl...." Loved when they got to the hospital and Muriel was there, Linda says, "I'll stop her! Heyyyyyyyyyy...." I liked the story with the shampoo, too. It was funny and then sweet. I'm glad the family didn't get mad or judgmental that Linda had taken the bottle out of the dumpster. The school drone story was good, too. Those fake bushes were pretty cool. It's nice that Louise let everyone dance. Linda: I like the dancing. It's like you're all dancing to a different song. I always watch the show on Hulu the next day, but it wasn't there this morning. So I found it on Fox, along with a ton of ads. 2 2 Link to comment

Linda weaponizing her Linda-ness to get cousin Muriel away was also pretty great. He really is the 6th main character at this point, but I was riveted at his plight with the hand gripper. Really good to see Miss Bisselbender again. It was oddly sweet how much Louise was into doll murder. And how Tina was creeped out by it. And how it was just an odd way for Louise to make Gene feel better about being left out of the group. I felt for Gene with not getting invited to that get together. Loved Tina's Barrette-y Krueger idea and loved that we got to see it at the end. 4 Link to comment

peeayebee October 28 Share October 28 I loved this ep. Everything with the dolls was so creative -- by Louise and by the animators. It was great that Mr Sweater's sister had Louise's bunny ears. When Louise first revealed who murdered the dolls and why, I was disappointed. But then the whole explanation from the teacher about that day in the library brought everything together. 1 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic October 28 Share October 28 I don't think Gene was really being a 'goody two shoes'. He didn't say he was going to tell on the kids, just tell the teacher about her camel toe. Really, I'd rather go bowling with Rudy than to this 'gathering' anyway. 5 Link to comment
tennisgurl October 28 Share October 28 (edited) As far as Halloween episodes go, it wasn't super Halloween-y, not even any classic Belcher kid costumes, which was disappointing, but as an episode itself it was pretty good. It was great to see Miss Bisselbender again and its sweet that Gene defended her and her too tight pants. Louise creating a whole doll based murder mystery to tell Gene that she's sorry and that she's likes him is a whole lot of wild work to do to say sorry and that she thinks he's great. I like that she even made tiny bunny ears for the chef's sister. Tina being scared of the dolls was the finniest part of the episode for me. Edited October 28 by tennisgurl 3 Link to comment
