I didn't remember the guys' names when I looked at the archive to see who was playing earlier in the day,  but I remembered Jackson once I saw him. So I was rooting for anyone else.

I am too, although I'd have been fine with Seth winning.  But I've liked Juveria ever since she went all in, with a large amount of money, on an Opera DD during the Second Chance tournament.

I got FJ pretty quickly.  Amersfoort sounded Dutch, and I know exactly one modern Dutch artist: Mondrian.

I answered Modigliani.  Jackson endeared himself to me by having the Merv Griffin Seinfeld epi as his favorite.  Mine too!

I wanted to say echinoderm on that sea urchin clue. I guess I would have had to be more specific and then I'd have lost.

But I got Mondrian, based on what his art looks like. I had no idea he was Dutch.

Ugh, is this tournament over yet? In J I missed one in History and Word Words, two in Billboard Bills/Billys/Billie, three in Books & Authors, and four in Social Types and Not Today Satin! In DJ I missed one in Meteorology, two in Period Entertainment, three in Art and Before & After, four in Creators & Creations, and all five in County Line (I had Chicago but forgot the actual name of the county). No clue for FJ.

TSes: (J had 5; DJ had 5 + both DDs) I got Ragtime (DD) and squall line.

I got the missed clue of cashmere and that's about all i can say for myself.

I had no clue for FJ tonight.

But I did get the TS of Umberto Eco, childless cat lady, cashmere, hemp (I have several articles of clothing made from hemp -- it's a great fabric!), Cook County (thank you, Blues Brothers), Ragtime, and squall line.

Neither did I, so I named the only Hungarian whose name occurred to me: Ferenc Molnár.

I was hoping hard that Jaskaran would pull through. I did guess Cook County but he did not hear me.

I couldn't get more than Laszlo because I know it's a Hungarian first name.  I had know idea Houdini was Hungarian, but apparently everyone else did.

I too wanted Jaskaran to win, but I don't mind the winner.

FJ was an easy get for anyone in Wisconsin. Plus my spouse went to Lawrence U. which is in Appleton. It’s almost like the border checkpoint quizzes you on Houdini, Jeffrey Dahmer and Ed Gein.

When I was a kid and into my biography reading phase, I read at least 2 Houdini biographies, but that was about 60 years ago, so I went with Zsa Zsa. 

Having lived Cook County adjacent during the 60s and 70s and then again from 2001-2021, I was yelling into the time tunnel vortex at Jaskaran: Cook! Cook! Cook!
But, alas, Jeopardy! players never receive my wormhole missives.

I had no idea about anything except his artwork, I even thought the dates were wrong but I went with it anyway. I'm just surprised I remembered his name.

I watched with friends so didn't keep track, but none of us had the slightest idea for FJ.  The only person Wisconsin brought to mind was Jeffrey Dahmer and that obviously wasn't it.

We were also unanimous in yelling at the TV when none of these guys knew childless cat lady.

I have to admit that although I knew "cat lady" I could not for the life of me recall "childless". I knew it wasn't "crazy" but couldn't come up with the right word.
