I have had a productive day. I started and finished my Xmas card list for the first time in years. I found several left over boxes of unused cards and a bunch of holiday stamps so why not. Finished decorating my tiny living room and have made two kinds of cookies, two or three more are planned based on my energy level, that is. No Xmas shopping is necessary, but I will probably pick up a few little things tomorrow.

So even though it’s freezing here in the Northeast, I decided it would good for me to get out of the house since i hadn’t breathed fresh air in three days. I ended up driving an hour to a local muffin shop and spending $45 on a dozen muffins. Guess I probably should have stayed home.

It was eleven degrees here today! I dragged myself out to the porch to smoke this morning, with my coffee. Quickly thought the better of it and remained within doors for the rest of the day. Covered in blankets. So cold.

I got an assortment—cranberry walnut, corn, blueberry, coffee cake, chocolate chip. I used to live closer to the place and would go there frequently b it haven’t had one of their muffins in 15 years! Still good!
