My big find was a scarf that was $180 in one store, was $6 in another. Sure, the first one was cashmere, but I don't really need cashmere. Six dollars for the win!

I was fortunate that when my dad died, I had already been helping him with his finances for a couple of years and he had put me on all of his bank accounts and I had his passwords.  I also knew what money was coming in and out, so I knew what payees to inform of his death.  Otherwise, I know I would have been lost!
