Now that their story is over I’ll let you in on some background.

Rayne and Chidi met online five years ago but only “dated” for two years then broke up and hadn’t been together for almost three years. It was during this time apart that Chidi made his vow of celibacy. Rayne sent an audition tape for the show and Chidi didn’t know anything about it until she contacted him that they’d been accepted. She talked him into being on the show, despite him telling her they wouldn’t have sex, and they rekindled the relationship for three or four months before she flew there to film their segments. Anyway, long story short, they weren’t actually together for the whole five years. 
edited to add: there was also another blind Nigerian man that she was in contact with during the time she and Chidi weren’t together

Joe and Magda were announced at the beginning of the season along with the other six couples, including Bozo and Vanja who were also introduced late in the season. TLC has done that to us before when a couple's story fizzles out. Remember how Nicole and Mahmoud suddenly disappeared without explanation,  but Angela and Michael came on board towards the end of the season? My theory is that everyone is filmed and all this is loosely orchestrated before the season airs but can be edited as necessary as certain events come to light.

Bozo is a lot of things, but a virgin is not one of them. He's in love with his "ex", not attracted to Vanja, and in a bit of a pickle. I think he's completely happy being a bachelor, loves the attention from his mom and aunt, and has no itching desire to come to the US. That's the common denominator in all the relationships that "work." The folks that aren't trying to come to the US and are perfectly happy where they are-- like Bozo, are way different than the abroad folks that do. Chidi is still hanging on to Rayne because he doesn't want to let go of his US dream and having a better life, IMO.
