My poor husband is in the hospital (turns out it was a gallbladder attack). He was in the ER for 24 hours before they found him a room. Then another 24 hours before they could arrange to transport him to Mass General, where he should be going now, fingers crossed. AND it turns out he also has a hernia. AND he was due for surgery at MGH on Thursday to address an issue with his liver. So now he's getting it all done, well, sooner. Poor guy. Meanwhile, back at home, houseguest was away for the weekend, couldn't call my friend because her brother just died so damned if I was going to burden her, my son's working 12 hour shifts and has no car, and my brother has enough on his plate with my mother. I'm sorry about your mother. That is difficult for the whole family. I'm recovering from covid, and not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow.
