If you were on this board at the beginning of the season, I don't know how you could have missed it because there was a lot of talk. The video store, the pornstache, the whole groovy laid back vibe... it was like he was beamed straight from the 1970s. Being from Tampa also seemed to fit right in, somehow.

For anyone who is interested, according to the Q&A linked above (thanks, Callaphera) Joseph and his family are safe from the hurricane. And he only helps out part time at the video store now. He has another job in human resources/recruiting. (For porn videos??) Seriously, it's actually nice to see someone return to a real world job instead of trying to turn this experience into  some social media/ influencer gravy train.

With only 2 posts in the last 24 hours, I'd say we're not getting there nearly fast enough.

Has anyone even checked the feeds to see if they're still alive? Are they like Schrodinger's Cat? Maybe if nobody looks, everything remains as is and Chelsie never wins.  I'd be ok with that.

I've been listening to Taran's increasingly short recaps in the car instead of turning on the feeds.   Rubina finally went to talk with MJ yesterday asking to be saved, suggesting that Chelsie and Cam will take each other to the final 2.   But MJ seems set on remaining local to CC and evicting Rubina.  

Is the finale on Sunday?  Have they started America's Favorite Player votes yet?  I guess that will be tonight.  I'm honestly thinking of giving all my votes to Angela.  She wasn't my favorite player (I didn't have one this year, tbh) but she was the most interesting player.   

Although I can see the producers thinking, the People Love Crazy!   If Angela was fun, maybe we can cast Two or even Three Emotionally Unstable People to scream and (fake) cry!  People will really love it then!

I'm either gonna vote for Angela, my actual fave, or not vote at all since Tucker is winning anyway so it's kind of pointless. Kind of like how the past few weeks of gameplay have been since Chelsie was the winner the second Jankie week ended.

I sure hope he wins because (1) he was my favorite for shaking up this otherwise stale and paint by the numbers game (vote with house) and (2) having a pre-jury member win says a LOT about how dull and dreary the other cast members have been.

Also who the hell is this Derrick mentioned above?  He "returns?"  Was he on this season?  Did they bring him back from some cast from the past that wasn't a blast?

This is why I kinda hate that he's winning since there were actually so many great moments after he left. This season didn't end when he left at all. And I shudder to imagine how boring it would have gotten even earlier with Tucker just comping out with his loyal minions. I guess it actually would have just been similar to how it actually played out with CCM but I feel like it would have irritated me more lol.

Derrick won BB16, the worst season ever that basically killed the show. Hopefully this season's trajectory will stop the 'get in an alliance with half the house and wait to be evicted' shit that Derrick started.

Yeah, since Chelsie's winning at the end anyway, I'm actually hoping it's HER choice to put Cam in the other F2 seat. Just to see the look on Makensey's face. Still, Mak's gonna have to wait awhile for someone to explain it to her. I don't think she has the capacity to realize just how catastrophically dumb her game moves were. 

I actually thought Derrick was going to host the jury roundtable. At least the jury gets spared. Although T'Kor might explode with such proximity to Taylor.

I always point out that BB HGs are almost always mostly morons, so when a HG goes far in the game due to other players making moronic decisions, I don't begrudge them. 

And I still basically hold true to that position, but I will allow that Makensy is an unusually dumb HG this season. This isn't just normal stupidity, this is someone who actually instantly figures out the appropriate way to go, and then is talked out of it because she's unusually stupid.

Chelsie deserves it.  Not only she is a good strategist, but she has a decent social game.  More importantly, she has won a bunch of comps - which for years some have complained are rigged towards the guys.

In terms of Favorite HG, I remember the pearl clutching when Cam won over Cirie - who did nothing all season.  America must have been fuming she didn't even make the T3.  But she was another one who did nothing in the game.

I'm still not over all the chip bag and chewing noises from her season. I saw people talking about how they figure Taylor is being primed to take over for Julie Chen and I... don't see that. Agreed.  When Mak stood to cast her single VTE I said to the wife “Here’s when we find out definitively whether Mak is playing her own game, or Chelsie’s.  If Mak evicts Cam, then she’s playing to win; if she evicts Rubina, then she’s only doing what Chelsie tells her to do.”

I know it's a long shot, but maybe Mack will surprise us and win and take Cam (as she should).  that would be the only way to redeem herself.  you got to give Chelsie props, though.  she just worms ideas into Mack's mind and makes her think there her own.  and if it's the two of them in the final, Chelsie is going to have to be brutal to convince the jury to give her the win.

If MJ didn't vote out Cam she won;'t get rid of Chelsie at the end.  We heard her stupid comment about "loyalty" to the end as she voted out Rubina.  So she wouldn't  turn around and break her final two she thinks she has with Chelsie. 

Or the great example to all the women of the world who are counting on her to have two women at the end.  No, she would let down half the planet if she did that.  The horror.  Nope she is totally Chelsie's puppet.

And Chelsie already has more than enough jury votes already.  The jury clips saying Mack could possibly win are just production getting clips from everybody there in advance trying to sell the viewership there is a real contest still left so tune in for the finale, folks.  They do it every year.

They usually do that for all three remaining HGs and I'd LOVE to hear the ones they prerecorded for Cam possibly winning, hahaha.  (Nay, even production wouldn't bother trying to sell him to even the most naive viewers).

Oh, that's what Chelsie absolutely plans to do.  She said it in her confessional last night that she intends to take Makensy to the F2 and obliterate her by using all of her bad moves against her.

Makensy's looking forward to hanging out with her after the season wraps up, but . . . I don't see her wanting anything to do with Chelsie if she humiliates her that badly.  Not that she won't deserve it, of course.

That's what I've been thinking she'll do (and I still think her plan for most of the season was to go to F2 with Cam) but she has me questioning it since every time she's practicing her speech it's as if she's against MJ. And she has told MJ like a thousand times they'll be the F2. Perhaps she plans on throwing final HOH actually. All season, Chelsie's moves have been very easy to predict because she plays a simple, mundane game but here at the end I think there's slight unpredictability. She absolutely knows she beats both and she knows both are voting for her even if she cuts them so it doesn't matter anyway.

Well that’s all comps done and it can be confirmed that Cam threw no comps, no dormant talents lying in wait for the right time, just plain utter uselessness.  Such a shame, I was rooting for this season but haven’t even wanted to watch after Leah and Angela left. Chelsie definitely deserves the win but such a boring journey to the W, she had no competition after the 1st few weeks. I doubt I’ll even tune in Sunday and most definitely not watching the clips and Jag show tonight. I might check in with y’all to read the funnies because that’s been the best part for me. Tucker gets my vote, Angela 2nd and Leah 3rd.

You were more charitable than I was. I said, "Whoever talked to Makensey last, that's the position she'll take." And Chelsie is way too smart to let anyone else be the last person to talk to Makensey. 

Part of me wants to hug and protect Makensey from the terrible real life challenges she is nowhere equipped to navigate, and the other part wants to just stomp on her dumb, stupid head. It is still amazing, in retrospect, to see Steve avoid it in BB17, because yeah, by this point, people really are just absolutely blinded by the delusional narratives that they've created in their heads.

Cam was the comp beast, Army veteran who served out Country, and single dad with a young daughter.  He beat out Cirie and Matt for America's Favorite Houseguest.  Showmance America and Cory didn't even make the Top 3.
