I have to laugh at Ashley's post nuptial agreement.   As if Manuel has anything to split with her.   

 

Maybe Mama Loren should see her daughter's surgeon for an estimate.   

Her mother reminds me of my mother, nothing a woman does for her appearance is acceptable to her.   I guess they think we should all just cope with whatever happens, and don't even try.   Loren certainly needed her abdominal muscles fixed, but the other things will make her feel better about herself.  

I suspect the surgery was free, for the publicity, so it was get surgery for the filming schedule, or pay mega bucks for it yourself.

The timing was terrible with three little kids who can’t even dress themselves or wipe themselves.

Well, now that the property issue is solved, Kobe and Emily need to come up with their next problem.

The whole scene was so obviously scripted, I just laughed. You could see the difference in their inflections and body language when they switched from an organic, normal conversation to the producer directed one. 

"No complaining allowed" snarks Mother Loren. Except from her, I guess. She hasn't let up on Loren for one second. If I was Loren I'd stuff a piece of challah with honey into her nattering mouth to shut her up for five seconds.

Even Borin's mother tells us to put a sock in it -- "You chose it! I don't want to hear complaining" (surgery) and "I never saw chins." I really can't wrap my mind around how selfish someone has to be to elect cosmetic surgery in a BIG bundle that carries SERIOUS risks and will disable you for months; and you might get a serious complication or even die. Nice to consider leaving her husband with three kids under, what, five? And for now all the care on him, too, now while he is the sole earner? Is Borin' trying to goose a longer media career?
