You go, Katie Porter!  I’ve been thinking about cancelling my Walgreens account too.

Not that I frequent Walgreens very often but now I will not be frequenting them at all. They are free to do what they have done and customers are free to say I am going to take my business elsewhere.

Now they want to talk about Women's History Month. Didn't they totally ignore Inteernational Women's Day yesterday? I can't be certain because I am fining it difficult to make it through a whole show lateley. Between the nonsense fluff and the incessant in-show advertisding, I finds little of interest.

Fergie mentioned International Women's Day yesterday.  I don't think the cohosts acknowledged it.

I loved hearing Cho talk about Joan Rivers. I miss her. :(

Wow, I was shocked when Sara disagreed with Alyssa this morning. I was wondering if Sara even existed as we once knew her anymore, most days she comes across like Alyssa's subordinate or something, lol.

Please, in the name of all that’s holy, tell me that broad, and even worse, pointy shoulders are not in style!  Hard to focus on Kerry Washington’s comments when the ill-fitting, peaked shoulders of her jacket were wriggling around, wrinkling and constricting her upper arms.  I’m sure it’s “fashion” and thus beyond the ken of mumsy types like moi.

Oooh, honeymoon’s over, Alyssa!  She def seemed miffed after the abortion pill discussion.

I enjoy Ana's name-dropping, especially when Sunny is COMPELLED to jump in and say, "He's a close friend of mine too!" and Ana tries to  finish her story.

My favorite moment was when both Joy and Sunny were talking about texting back and forth with Don Lemon, and a certain former blonde host sounded like she felt left out not being part of those texts.

I still like her, politics aside, but she better get used to being miffed concerning this topic.  This is a fight that isn't going away.

Sara seems to come alive when the topic of a woman's right to choose and LGTBQ issues are discussed.  Those are two things that are important to her and most likely the two things she is sincere with her thoughts.

And mental health.

It seems like something is wrong with Jane's left arm/shoulder. She was definitely favoring it last night on Colbert's show & again today when Lily "led" her out.  Just wondering what could be the issue.

All I wanna know is if they talked about 9 to 5.

They talked about how hard it would be to make that movie now. Some interesting comments re employee rights.

‘S wonderful, ‘s marvelous, ‘s awful nice, ‘s paradise, ‘s what I love to see - the panel continuing to cover the investigations of the former Prez.  When Alyssa downplayed the importance of the porn star payoff as a mere misdemeanor, so glad that Sara and Joy countered that they want accountability for all crimes, as nobody is above the law.  And attorney Asunción asserting, with sparkling eyes and barely concealed glee, “this is someone who’s not going to get away with it,” shortly before they aired the Former Guy warning of the possibility of Hillary C. facing indictment if elected in 2016 - great TV!  Don’t stop now!

I'll believe it when I see it as so far he has been way above the law & I don't see him coming down anytime soon no matter how much & how many times Sunny says it.

I'm not going to link it because fuck Margorie Taylor Green but she is upset about something Jane Fonda said on today's View.

I can guess. It’s what Joy kept insisting was a joke, right?

Just a couple guesses - cancer (& related blood draws, tests, and treatment is my guess, as an aged, Grade 3, Stage 1 cancer survivor of 15 years (thank you, UWMC/SCCA!)) Second speculation, age 85 😉- not for sissies, as you’ve probably heard.

Just STFU, Allysa. Unlike others here, I’ve never liked her. She seems likable because she doesn’t screech and isn’t angry like her predecessor. But she does the same thing. And after she got her say about Walgreens, when Whoopi was saying what she thought, Allysa tried interrupting to hammer her point and then pivot to try and bring in another topic. So glad Whoopi shut her down by telling her that wasn’t the subject they were all discussing. And add me to the list of GO KATIE PORTER!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

And speaking of interrupting, Sunny is also really starting to annoy me with how she cuts in when Joy is expressing her opinion-by inserting what she thinks, before Joy is finished! She also already had her turn. She expects others to let her finish when she’s talking. She should extend the same courtesy to others.

I know I wanted to post something else, but I’m coming off of working on a brief from hell that had me working 15 hours a day every day, plus my sciatica flared up, added another thing to deal with and so I begged my doctor for some stronger medicine. He came through and today I’m feeling no pain and a bit woozy right now. So I’ve lost my train of thought.🤪😜😜😜🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

OH! LOVE❤️LOVE❤️LOVE❤️ Margaret! I’m so glad she did that bit impersonating her mom! Reminded me of her skit where she did the bit about her surfer dude brother who became a Born Again Christian! It wuz Hilarious!😂😂😂😂

And I cackled when Jane Fonda didn’t shake Allysa’s hand. I’m petty like that.

Loved the interview with Jane and Lily, too!

That's true. But she comes across vaguely hostile and bitter at times these days to me. I never really liked Sara because she said anything profound, more because she came across like a ray of sunshine anti-drama types who alleviated some of the stuff going on at the table among the others and she's sort of become the opposite to me these days with all the little barbs she throws at the others. She does have a lot more going on with family life these days though.

Re:Alyssa, eh, she's fine, but I admit I'd rather have Paula there if they had to have a host of a particular bent in that seat. Of course, I think the reason Paula wrote a book is to make some income while she stays at home these days, but her manner of speaking always gave me the same vibe as Meredith and the other original View ladies. But I can see Alyssa is trying to get along and laugh despite disagreements, which is closer to a Paula than a Jedidiah (who was more of the rat-a-tat-tat-tat variety of speaker).

I wonder why Ana wasn't there yesterday? I knew that joke by Fonda would make waves, but who cares--she and Tomlin are always delightful.

You can sit at my table. I've never liked her either. Sure, she's so "pleasant" and "lovely". However, she was a collaborator in a corrupt administration. She holds the same views as her predecessor, just puts a more genteel face on them. The deflection and whataboutism and outright lies continue.

Have they completely done away with the guests hugging each person at the table?  If so, I think that's a good thing.  It takes up time and is sometimes awkward. I know yesterday it was mentioned and someone (Joy?) said they didn't do it because of Covid, but they were doing it before this, so ...

I don't think it's a set policy, I've seen guests come in and kiss everyone at the table, and some walk directly to the middle chair and say hello.  It's up to the guest.

And sometimes the guest is already at the table when show returns from commercial, and we don't see them arriving.

When that happens, like with Liam Neeson recently, I always wonder if the guest is limping or if there's any reason why they're not shown walking in like most guests.
