A very unconfirmed rumor- Rookie Taylor maybe had to retire at the last minute due to injury. No one has seen a screen shot of her at auditions. All the other vets are accounted for.

I knew I recognized her! The braids threw me off. She was featured solo in a later slide - a good sign for her, I’d say. 

Taylor posted a good luck message from someone earlier today via her doggo, so I’d be surprised if that were true unless it happened literally today.

It does look more like Lauren, you’re right, but I haven’t seen enough of her recently to be convinced she even auditioned this year… idk?

That might be Julissa? Definitely a little fuzzy but the hair is certainly right

Yes, I spoke too soon. The rumor that there was a 14th vet to retire due to injury was probably just that - a rumor. I sure hope Taylor is returning 🤞

Alyssa Barkin. She has tried out a few times and was a TCC in 2022, the first year of no MTT cameras. She was also a TCU showgirl with Christina and Kaydianna, as well as an Allen’s American Ice Angel.

YES it is Kinsy, you’re so right. I hadn’t seen Clare Marie before but her Golden Girl background will certainly be an asset.

You know...out of all the TCU girlies that graduated this year I was not expecting Kinsey to make it to audition for DCC. If you would have asked me I would have said Trinity lol. But I only look at their stuff every once in a while so maybe Kinsey was an obvious choice and I just didn't see it lol.

But I'll always root for a TCU girl, so Kinsey is currently on my list of girls I am hoping make it on the team alongside Dayton, Charly and Kayla.

Agreed, Trinity is who I was expecting based both on talent and connections, but I would love Kinsy to make it!

Former TCC Alyssa was a TCU showgirl with Christina Ostovich, who was the brunette Christina - she was a DCC for two years, then sadly cut.

Christina Ricelli is the former DCC that married Mandy's ex-bf and they have a dance studio in Washington.

Not sure if I'm just getting old or what but they all seem SO young! I feel like it was refreshing to have women like Zhenya and Anisha in the mix the last couple of years as talented ladies with a little more maturity/life experience. in addition to having a "bouquet" of looks, maybe they should consider a bouquet of ages/backgrounds/etc.

Emily was definitely ruled out. I was the one who threw her name in because I had noticed she had recently left the Luvabulls and moved to DFW. I do not know if she auditioned for DCC but she is "new" friends with several DCC and TCC so that was a big hint. But her social media suggests she is in Chicago right now, so not in training camp.

I really cannot take credit for the other names or the total count of TCCs - it was some other people working behind the scenes. I think Jaelyn was a strong possibility, but Rachel less so. I will say this year there seems to be less insiders than ever on here or Reddit so it is hard to get confirmation. I don't know any insiders but I do occasionally message a few longtime users.

Too many blondes imo. I know it's technically a 9-10-1 brunette to blonde to redhead ratio but I feel like if all of the blondes make it then we're gonna have another mostly blonde team. 

Quick someone tell Kelli to make at least one of them a redhead lol

Also congrats to the rookie team of 2023 for being the first rookie class (that I know of) to have no retirements, injuries or vet cuts and have all of them make the team again. Now watch one of them get cut or injured after saying this lol.

Group 1: GL Chandi, GL2 KayDianna
Group 2: GL Megan, GL 2 Kelee
Group 3: GL Jada, GL 2 Tori
Group 4: GL Armani, GL 2 Lea

 

I'm so excited if these are the unofficial 2GLs! Well deserved. 

I see Group 3 is the tall group!

 

Edited to ask: Who's the leftmost vet in Group 2? Is she Zoë?

I'm so happy for Lea! I already surmised Tori was a strong leader & teacher, what with her dance business with her sister and KD and Kelee were highlighted a bit during their rookie season on MTT, but I felt Lea flew under the radar. She captured my attention whenever she was on screen, though!
