I haven't been watching these until yesterday - Tom getting his teeth done? Yuk.  Just like Darcy did and I remember thinking he must be appalled by it. But no, apparently he was 100% supportive since he did it himself. I guess I don't understand the whole concept of veneers.

I hope I'm getting these shows right. Bini and Ari: I thought it was distasteful to see Ari's mom sitting in the chair pretending to put dollar bills into Bini's belt area as he as doing his practice stripper performance.  Lady, this is your daughter's husband. Keep your hands to yourself.

Cortney can't find a man in Orlando willing to get engaged to her within 3 months. That first guy (date) couldn't get out of the bar fast enough. She should try some churches; church is a big deal in the South. Doesn't have to be a strict one. Her Mom is religious.

Maybe instead of leaving it all up to God, though, Mom should have 32-year-old daughter get her own place...who is a realtor! There's some kind of dependency or grifting problem there (goes around looking for free couch-surfing in men's homes and sleeps with them. Classy.)

Agree Breedom about the stripper performance but I thought Janice took it well, considering. Lucky there's big bucks there (i.e., A's parents) to pay everyone's expenses including a luxury rental. I can't stand the pretentious way Ah-dee-ella pronounces names, including her own. What is the female counterpart of Peter Pan? That's what we've got here, a Peter Pam. This doofus left a smart (Ph.D. in science), handsome, kind, foreign husband (clearly ultra-patient)  because she wanted to "travel more"(!) Hey, I'll take someone like that, and stay at home!

She gets back from that residential hotel looking like she spent the whole break fasting, or throwing up her food.

Not sure why she needed to divorce to travel.  I’m sure he would have waited for her after investing ten years in the marriage.  But I think she wanted to be free to screw hot guys and look where that led her.  Now it seems like she doesn’t want Bini or the responsibility of a kid.

If she would pull up her Big Girl Panties and just let Bini have the little boy, things might work out well.  She could just leave.  What seems remaining heartbreak for him is that Wife #1 left WITH their child. I know on the surface he might look like a green card grifter but their temperaments are so opposite they are just not compatible.  He is energetic and light-hearted and optimistic and she is just always miserable and manipulative and inflicting guilt.  I think he is gone all day because she sucks the life out of his soul and it is for the purpose of self preservation.  And maybe if she cultivated some friends she wouldn’t be so triggered that he has friends and actually likes to spend time with them.  It’s normal to have friends.  It is not normal to suffocate your partner.  She really needs to be single and leave men alone.  Both Leandro and Bini seem like decent guys but she is off the charts toxic.

I thought he wanted to come to the US for better opportunities as an MMA fighter but I may have misremembered.  Seems like he has moved on from that and wants to be in some Chippendales type show.  When Ari didn’t want him sparring with a woman don’t know how she is going to like all the female attention a stripper gets.

She looked so much better in the flashbacks before the plastic surgery. She obviously has some body trauma from her childhood, and this surgery isn't going to fix it. Therapy would help more.

Robert and Anny's story was so painful, I had no idea.  Hopefully the new baby will ease their pain.  I almost missed it, but Anny said she was using birth control and still got pregnant.  As she said, Robert's sperm is pretty potent, as he has (at least that we know of) 7 other children!

Chantal is disgusting, I really wish she was not included in this series.  I never watched any of her stupid spinoffs and don't really want to give her any more of my attention.  She used the scar removal as an excuse to get extreme body modification to look even more like a Kardashian caricature.  Her boobs are so overdone it must be painful.  Girl needs serious therapy, NOT more surgery!!!  She's GOT to be on OnlyFans, right???

I would tell Jenny to stick to her guns about not working.  She collects Social Security, which is probably more than Sumit ever earned.  Sumit needs to step it up and bring home the bacon.  If she got a job, Sumit would put off getting one indefinitely, just like he put off marrying Jenny.  He's a master manipulator and Jenny's got his number.  Otherwise, she seems happy and I'm glad she's getting along with MIL at some level.

Sumit WANTS to work as a chef.  Because he doesn't have the "usual" credentials, he needs to visit employers in person ... show them what he can do. Phone calls haven't worked.

But I'm here to defend Jenny.  When Jenny moved to India, I saw her as an older RETIRED woman who brought her Social Security income with her and provided most of their support.  Wasn't she their sole support (aside from TV contracts)?  It wasn't easy for her to make friends because she didn't speak the language--and for the deep prejudice against her older woman/younger man relationship. Language should have been her most important "job," even before leaving the U.S.   She's a pleasant outgoing woman.  Did she truly "demand" a nicer apartment--or did she simply want something safer...and probably nicer.

I like Jenny and you make some good points here. I had forgotten how lazy Sumit was in previous seasons and her social security.I also missed the part about him being unqualified. Maybe he should go back to call centre work or work as a server until he can up skill and/or get a chef job? Jenny can get an easy part time gig,  moreso to expand her horizons and help her integrate and help just enough so they don’t lose the place but not enough to fully support them. Even just take some language classes. She can’t be happy sitting inside alone all day. She also complained when Sumit worked long hours and she was left alone. Their place looks expensive, I am sure they could have found somewhere nicer within their budget. Their previous home was a disaster, I would demand better too. Sumit is also a lazy liar who needs his feet held to the fire before he does anything. I don’t blame Jenny for putting her foot down and demanding more of him. I also don’t trust his mom, I bet she still shit talks Jenny behind her back but pretends to accept it to have her son in her life.

I stopped watching the show long ago...when it was still the family.  I think the mother turned me off the most.  Still, over the years I'd see clips of that show and the Pedro & Chantal fiasco. It's amazing that doctors are still allowed to perform  surgeries that deform people...mostly desperate women.

We saw him call (or pretend to call) several restaurants asking for a job as a chef and admitting that he didn't have "training," but he could cook.  Your suggestion that he work as a server might be the best strategy.  If he could prove to an employer (restaurant) that he's a reliable and likeable worker, the next step is asking to demonstrate his cooking skill.  I made that singular because I'm not sure how talented he is.
