S10.E06: Read Between the Signs

This Dorit/Garcelle commentary version would have been better if D & G were recorded at the same time--on Zoom or Skype or something--and were able to interact with each other.  I did like that they were both critical of Kyle in the same way.  It was kind of surprising that Dorit admitted to never seeing the Dinner Party From Hell episode.    

There'd been some speculation around the internet that Bravo was putting up these commentary episodes to give them time to re-edit upcoming episodes with Brandi in light of her prior problematic racial comments and Bravo's recent firing of at least five people due to their similar behavior.  But if this was *really* filmed on May 13th (a full week before the public saw the episode), then they are just stretching this season, perhaps due to Covid shutting down other shows' production. However, the question becomes why they aren't doing it with NYC.  I mean, I'd be pissed if they paused NYC for a month but they could delay BH for months and I'd be cool with it. The horses they beat will be just as dead then as they are now.

You know what’s funny?  I was halfway through the episode before I realized Dorit and Garcelle were not interacting.  Dorit usually is so self-involved it didn’t hit me right away that she was not responding to Garcelle’s comments.

NY is also taking a 2 week break after tonight's episode.

While I'd certainly like to think that the BH break is to edit out Brandi, it seems more likely that they're just trying to stretch the seasons.  

Interesting that both Garcelle & Dorit made negative comments about Kyle and supportive comments about Denise.  I see the sides are starting to take shape.

I still believe 99.9% of Rinna's issues with Denise are based on jealousy, especially since she's out there daily telling anyone who'll listen that Denise is going to quit or should quit.  Denise is hustling harder and way more successfully than Rinna of late.  Just imagine if either Sami or Lola started modeling?

Plus with NJ and OC having to suspend filming, and Potomac's season debut is also pushed back, it seems they are trying to stretch things out as much as possible.
