I think, but not entirely sure, they were fighting & then one of ‘em (it was assumed Martin) fell & was killed.  And then we assumed Paris police identified the body?  But if they’re anything like GC police . . .

And another storyline that was never fully explained was what Martin did to Ash which led to her various personalities.  Guess since she’s MIA, we’ll never know?

Any theories as to the connection btw Alan/Dead-Martin and S&P?

Well Alan and Martin are identical twin brothers, so they're played by the same actor, Christopher Cousins, and there was never a scene where both brothers were shown together.

While checking out the Alan Laurent character online, I came across a listing in Fandom which identifies Christopher Cousins as the actor portraying Alan and someone named John Malone as providing Alan's modulated voice - this same Fandom piece identifies Alan as the kidnapper.

Checked online for how Phyllis would have come into contact with Ian Ward, and found info about how, back around 2015, Phyllis and Jack are enjoying a romantic getaway at the Abbott cabin and Phyllis meets a man who identifies himself as "Fred" who is a recent widower who is staying at a place in the woods while working on a book. Phyllis is completely taken in by "Fred," who is, of course, Ian Ward - Phyllis doesn't know who Ian Ward is because she was in a year-long coma while he was wreaking havoc in Genoa City - and she opens up to him about her life.  It isn't until later on, when "Fred" turns up in Genoa City, that Summer sees him talking to Phyllis in the park one day and informs her that "Fred" is actually a psychopath named Ian Ward and fills her in on everything that he has pulled with various people in GC.

According to Google AI, there was never a scene where the twin brothers were in the same frame, so I'm guessing that Y&R used some fancy editing tricks to make it look like Alan and Martin were in the same room together confronting/arguing with each other.

Since both brothers are played by the same actor, what we saw in that scene was fancy editing, a body double and a fight choreographed to make it look like Alan and Martin were tussling with each other.

Does anyone know why Canada gets Y&R a day earlier? I'm not complaining because @Artsdais over in the Canadthread doin' the lords work so I know when to bail completely on this show. But I find it odd that SHOW is a day earlier in a neighboring country. That said, I used to travel to Bangkok a lot for work and Y&R was on there in the evening snd it was like 10-15 years behind and it was totally awesome! I think that's where I got hooked on Y&R, then I came home and watched it and it was less than mediocre.

I also got the warning. Wish we’d get something similar from the show when there’s unwanted content. It could be tailored to each viewer. Like I would personally program my whatever with tags like “Kyle/Claire schmoopy”,  “Pterodactyl tantrum”, “Philly” and “Victor mumbles hypocritically about the Abbotts.” Then I could make an informed choice about whether to watch that episode or not.

I dunno, I think like many potentially derogatory terms it depends on who's using it. Recognized members of the group being referred to can usually use it with/toward each other. However, outsiders might want to exercise caution. (Fellow USians, maybe not with the "Canuck" right now unless you're discussing pro hockey. 😉)

Victor kind of has a pattern of being dismissive of Abby but I was surprised Devon put up with that crap. He's also a billionaire and could well afford to give his fiancée the wedding of her dreams. And then Abby and Devon had to act ever so grateful Victor was going to let them get married in the new old ranch house's living room. Big whoop. AFAIC they might as well have had the ceremony in the GCAC parking garage.

They got married on Wednesday, November 13, 2034, Y&R's 13,000th episode (I had to look it up because I wasn't sure if I had imagined the unmemorable occasion). A few family members stood around listening to Victor talk in his livingroom; it didn't look or seem like a wedding. They immediately left town & Abby was taken off contract, and we rarely see Devon. So no flashbacks either.

Daniel having a deep conversation with Sharon about her being held captive with his mommy seemed pointless to me. Every single time he talks to Sharon he brings up the Heather murder. All roads don't lead back to Heather's death, Daniel.

Phyllis admitted her whole purpose in life as an adult has been to make trouble for Sharon. Ehh, that wasn't true when Phyllis was with Jack. Whatever, Nick knows the ish really started when he couldn't handle his grief over Cassie's death so he cheated on Sharon with Phyllis. But today he just stood there with his thumb up his hiney listening to Phyllis twist the truth to garner sympathy. Yeesh.

How much do I hate Victor's involvement in the Aristotle Dumas storyline? THIS MUCH!! The talk between him and Michael today made it sound like Dumas won't be interacting much with the Winters crew at all. Sigh.

Tessa was still being extra friendly toward Daniel for no apparent reason, and he was matching her energy. Hmm.

Meanwhile, re Tessa's new hair color: yikes. IMO she's a bit past her prime to be trying to imitate the current pop princess look.

Billy👃Billy👃 lier lier pants are on fire.  First of all it’s your plan is to bring NM down and what Manic Phyllis🕷️ and you were talking about.  If Manic Phyllis🕷️ was thinking about business, we definitely didn’t see or hear about this before now.  

The monkeys with a keyboard are trying very hard to make Manic Phyllis🕷️a sympathetic character 🤢🤮.  For me, that’s an epic fail.

I figure Aristotle Dumas is as sick of Victor’s shit as most of Genoa City is and thinks he can weaponize Billy’s twin turbo blowholes to knock the old vampire off his perch. You must admit, Victor will never see that coming as absolutely no one expects Billy to succeed at anything other than inhalation.

I wish there was a character on the show solely dedicated to punching Nick in the jewels every single time he calls Summer “supergirl.”

As it turns out, I don’t actually care about Phyllis’ trauma. I’m as surprised as anyone. As if she hasn’t loved every minute of being a complete asshole to Sharon… pterodactyl, please. She acts like she’ll be lost without her miserable vendetta.

Boy, Billy sure was patting himself on the back for saving Phyllis. He’s going to blow it with Sally, isn’t he?
