Omg, I totally agree. I get that she's paranoid about her parents, but you could kindly butt the fuck out of your brother's relationship woes. Plenty of seventeen years old couples aren't endgame and she'd know that if she'd stop being so obsessed that her freshman long distance relationship didn't work out. My sister was also a few years below me in high school and I'd lose my shit if she ran around the school trying to figure out every person I was hooking up with, who were also boys incidentally.

Finally got around to watching this. Not like I've been busy or anything, just dreading watching this. Good lord, these writers did Connor and Michaela so wrong. I get that at this point they were, besides Laurel, the only kids in the ring but damn. Laurel gets to have a great life with her kid while Connor goes to prison for a bunch of shit he didn't do nor wanted to be involved in. I hate these writers and will probably actively make sure I don't watch more of their work.

Yeah, but we've gone over this in the arrow threads, the cw clearly doesn't care enough to do these kind of things. They've like mastered the ability to half ass simple jobs, like making sure their EPS aren't womanizers or their cast aren't completely tone deaf bigots. Eta: I totally agree that he should've been smart enough to purge that stuff himself, which means to me that either he's an idiot, thought himself untouchable or actually bettered himself and forgot that he once said such horrible things.

Honestly, if Arrow had continued, this would've been the perfect time for SA to check his privilege before it bites him in the ass. As it currently is, I don't know that he will, he doesn't have a job atm and only has to worry about getting future work eventually. They probably do look through social media at first, but when auditioning hundreds of people on a television schedule and a CW budget, it's not really possible to do a complete look through everyone's past on every social media platforms, that keep up on popping up and increasingly becoming obsolete. Also it's horrible to say, but it's only in the last few years in Hollywood that content like this has started to matter.

Holly would cover the lgbt part. But honestly, these characters have their own destinies that I'd like to see that don't include being batwoman. I loooove Steph, but I'm not sure even she could get me to watch season 2. Would've been super into her being introduced (like she was rumored to be last year) as Spoiler or Batgirl but not taking over Kate Kane. If they retooled the very concept of the show, into Batgirl/ Gotham Central/ Streets of Gotham, I may have been in... but their not. I wish the remaining cast (Love you, Rachel) and crew the best, but I'm so out and so depressed over that.

I'm really not enjoying the revolutionary costumes in the new opening. Even Antoni can't make the red coat sexy, I miss his moto jacket.

Yeahhhhh, I was already very wary of recasting in the first place, I know they don't have a choice, but still. If this news is real and not a misdirect I'm fucking out. Even if it's Helena, who I adore, I'm out, because it changes the show fundamentally and to one I didn't sign up to watch. I guess I'll always have season one and the crossovers.

Between Batwoman and Riverdale, the cw seems like a pretty dangerous place to work.

While the history of fucking Sara over is colossal, I also think Caity has been around the block awhile now and would be very candid if she was getting fucked over or pushed out. She didn't have the clout in season 2 of Arrow that she has now, at this point she's been on legends five years, guest starred on every show numerous times and has gone on record when she doesn't like what's going on. I think she'd warn fans if her character was doomed, she knows how much she's appreciated by the fans.
