Me and my boyfriend watched this together and honestly had the same thought. We loved this show when it first aired and honestly watched it during quarantine... before we met, what can I say you definitely got to know your neighbors. But we found things to do, I remodeled my kitchen, made a garden, wrote a book, worked on making new cocktails. Despite the lack of income and being able to go out to eat I really enjoyed my time at home.

I just... can't believe that they went months saying they weren't going to recast... then did that. Because if that was the case, I would have really seen better ways to write this show. Like have Julia take up the mantle while she looks for Kate then go back to focusing on Kate's story like you had planned when you created the damn show. You could pretty much have the exact plot of this season with the exclusion of Ryan. And honestly while I love the actress the character didn't need to exist. Or hell, include Ryan as a new vigilante inspired by Batwoman... there were a million things they could've done but they've just showed that their not very creative.

Honestly, I'm not very surprised at Nick's non statement. Harry Lenix just had an interview where he said he never experienced anything like that working with joss but admitted that he's a burly black guy from shy town and people know better in how to come at him. If you're an aggressor you target someone not in a position to stand up for themselves, someone not powerful or in a position to beat your face in. Nick had white boi privilege all over him before the end of BtVS.

I really, really, really (can't emphasize enough) don't think Caleb or Jasmine were part of the grand plan. I think his show got cancelled and he was upset that he lost some of his toys so he got them in, Jasmine was done with more nuance granted but they really felt thrown in as characters.

I actually did. Despite his checkered past he's always seemed to be very close with his cast mates. Him, Cc and GQ were very close and he's close with Emily Deschanel. Also he's never been one of joss' favourites despite the spinoff. He's not one of the ones (Amy, Summer, Aly and Alexis) that get invited to Shakespeare readings, he was just a hot, broody vehicle for a show that was a sure hit. I have no doubts that he'd be protective of his cast, show leads usually are and David still has a thriving career and I'd imagine absolutely no plans to return to his Angel role.

Cordy first of all did not get a fantastic send off, while Thank You was a great episode, let's be real it was a reworked plot that put focus on Cordelia instead of Buffy. Secondly it's not like Charisma randomly leaped onto this subject, she took time out of her life to own up to something that has previously caused her strenuous emotional duress to back a minority actor who accused the same producer of the same kind of misconduct.

Yeah, innocent until proven guilty doesn't apply to me when the accused has twenty years of random people saying stuff. I didn't know how badly affected charisma, amber and Michelle were but I'm proud of them for speaking up. It's no secret about the Angel drama with CC it's been spoken about for years in many formats so I wasn't the least bit surprised when Fischer came out against him. Whenever an actor comes out against Joss, i just sigh at this point, I idolized him as a writer in my youth, but honestly as an adult, him and mutant enemy as a whole are a bunch of shock value writers pretending to be feminists.

I gave it a try, but I'm not sure it's really my show anymore. Fake Batwoman did fine and so did the actress but it all fell hollow, like their leading into something that won't ever occur. This fake Bruce storyline got utterly wasted, just as well because Kate isn't here for it. Honestly the only things I enjoyed were Alice , great come back Rachel, pointing out how absurd the whole thing is and killing the random girl because... why not? I don't dislike Ryan but they really should have found a way to drop Stephanie Brown into the cowl, dc queen of taking other titles without permission. Then they could have included cluemaster since they clearly can't use riddler. And that would've provided a better back story. Her dad worked for Alice, Alice killed Tim or her mom. Stephanie is always getting screwed over in potential. Fuck, we could've had the first black Spoiler! I'm gonna stay on the forum, but don't think I'm watching the show. Eta: I'm also going to need this production company to step away from blm, gun control and pretty much all issues. I think they mean well but it's always ham fisted and never will written.

Agreed. The actress isn't terrible and I wish her nothing but the best, but this isn't the show I signed up for. I have the first season on DVD, so I'm going to treat this as a one season show that had some missteps but was ultimately fun to watch, I've no intention on continuing down this rabbit hole.

Always here for a Conner Halloween episode. This didn't disappoint. I don't see any problem with the kids having costumes because as mentioned above they have about twenty years of Halloween decorations and costumes in the attic. The line that killed me was when Jackie said she couldn't figure out how to make the gumball costume about her mother. The bathroom line fell flat for me because while funny, I am fully aware that Dan has his own en suite attached to his bedroom. Not to get too political but I appreciated all the comments tonight. Especially from Dan who is sometimes bullheaded but was pretty eloquent this time around.

I don't think all the people had doubts that the show would be good. I know a lot of people who assumed Ruby would be a bit one note, but that's par for the course.. Stephen Amell wasn't as good when he first started. I think people are bothered because we bought into the show by a very specific premise and now it's not like the show will be bad by default but it's definitely not what anyone signed up for plot wise.

Doing a rewatch, including revival. Leo should have been end game. My sister and I were talking about how how everyone deserves a Patrick (shitts creek) and she asked me to name another perfect tv boyfriend, Leo is the only one I could think of.

I could see someone from Bludhaven before Hub tbh. But really, I'd choose one of the cities not overrun with gangsters and criminals. Or even Keystone or Central. Sure they have crime, but it's sunny there.

Thus far. How Batwoman season two goes is anyones guess. And Grant is on a his choice in regards to renewing soon. There is superman and Lois, but with no midwinter event because there's no one left what're they gonna do.

With the Batwoman recast and this news it really sounds like the arrowverse will be grinding to a halt unless Greg can get his hands on a few more dc properties. I don't feel any sort of way about this news though, i mean I enjoy the show and make sure to watch it but always kind of just easy tv watching, I'm not a fanatic.
