  1. I watched this episode after reading the spoilers from the leak. I don't think that Sansa meant to be malicious re: Jon vs LF. I thought she seemed genuine in her talk with Brienne. She gave Jon the cloak. I think she trusts him as much as she can trust anyone. I want to bring up something that is puzzling me. I want to know what Davos' motivation is. He was the one who wanted Mel to bring Jon back in Ep. 2. Then he acts as Jon's moral guidance once Jon is back. Then he questions Mel's devotion to Jon, bringing up Stannis. She explained herself when Jon came back. Then this week he is the one to bring up Jon's bastard status. I love Davos, but I can't follow his line of thinking.
  2. Good God, if this is true then Petyr better not know anything about it. Otherwise, kissing his own daughter is more disgusting than anything the Lannisters or Targs ever did.
  3. I'm not sure if I may have missed something, but are we to assume that Westeros knows about Jon's death and resurrection? From what I saw, it wasn't addressed, yet no one seemed concerned about Jon leaving Castle Black as a deserter. I'm sure Sansa, Brienne and Pod are aware, but who else? Ramsay's letter was addressed to Jon Snow, not LC Jon Snow.
  4. Did more happen in this episode? My mind seemed to stall after Sansa & Jon had their reunion. What a beautiful scene. My mind still goes back to the first 2 episodes of the series where Jon has scenes with all his siblings except Sansa. Was that by design? No matter because Kit & Sophie never seemed to miss a beat. I bought them as brother and sister who hadn't seen each other in years. I think my heart really lies in the North because other than the Wall, I only care now about what eventually will happen at Winterfell. I really don't care about the actions across the Narrow Sea. I have a hard time mustering up any interest in Dany's story at all, even after what happened tonight. I do have a bit of interest in King's Landing. I want to see what happens to Margaery. Cersei kind of scares me now. The Sparrows need to fly far far away.
  5. Going back to the first 2 episodes of the series, I'm still of the belief that it has to mean something that Jon was the only "Stark" sibling to have any scenes with all Starks (minus Sansa) plus Jaime, plus Tyrion. I just don't know what it means.
  6. I think they only titled him because there are 2 of them. He is Shawn and there is another Sean. It was probably just easier to say "Doctor Shawn" than to spell out each name. I don't remember what Sean's line of work is. They may single him out with that in the future too.
  7. Yes, thank-you. I saw it too. I liked Val and Damon together.
  8. So glad Lily is dead. Damn that stupid Mary-Louise for unlinking Julian though. He needs to go too. So glad Nora broke up with her. I dislike the heretics, but I much prefer Nora to ML. I like Valerie. There I said it. I like the actress and the character. I much prefer her with Stefan. Liked her with Damon too. Did I mention I'm glad Lily is dead? As others have said, I don't blame Damon's reaction to her dying. Although I don't hate that he seemed to regret it "3 years later". I am still one of the few who like Enzo. As I mentioned a few episodes ago, mostly for shallow reasons. The actor is hot and I like his voice. He can stay for a bit. Matt either needs to die or become a vamp. I get that he needs to be the human connection. But he is just so boring.
  9. I think this has been the first tv season since I have had a DVR that I have had only 1 show on that DVR. Chicago Med is the only one that had managed to keep my interest past the first 3 episodes. I started out the season with Code Black & Quantico but they quickly lost me.
  10. I must have been in need of a good laugh because when Jimmy made the line about the "wrong Ninja Turtle" I dissolved into at least a good 5 minute laugh. Complete with tears. Best line of the episode.
  11. For the most part I liked it. However, as I was watching, all I could think about was how LOST has been off the air for 5 years now, and how much I hated Jack Shephard. Every time Dr Rhodes was on screen I thought of Jack Shephard.
  12. One thing I got out of this episode...Ian Somerhalder really has chemistry with everyone. I can't even remember if Damon has ever had solo scenes with Matt or Tyler. Even without word exchanged, I liked the Damon/Tyler scene (& I have never liked Tyler).
  13. So is Tyler Caroline's fiancé from last week? I totally forgot about him..... I'm confused. All of a sudden Valerie shows up sitting next to Stefan in present day. Did I miss something? I know Caroline brought her up in the phone convo. But when did they actually connect to arrange a meet? Bonnie Damon Alaric was the best part of the show. One thing that ticked me off though...why couldn't Damon instead of Stefan have gotten the hot girl to check up on him in the past?
  14. I have to agree with the majority...Lily and her group of heretics need to go. There is nothing likeable about any of them. I know most hate him, but I want to keep Enzo. I like how he acknowledged why he turned on Caroline and Damon. Plus, on a shallow note, he's cute & I love his voice. What I hated even more than the heretic story though was the Alaric one. I really wish the character had stayed dead at this point. I am watching this show this season mostly now for Damon, Stefan & their relationship as brothers. Not sure how I feel about the 3 years flash forwards. If I had to pick a heretic, I like Valerie the best. Even if she did trick Caroline. She may even be my pick for the 3 years later shooter.
  15. At the last 3 hospitals I've worked in (in Canada) it means Bomb Threat. Usually when our emergency dept has a "code black" we call it "bed alert". I guess that's not exciting enough to call a tv show though. Krista/Christa is seriously working my last nerve though. She is quickly becoming Mary-Sue resident to me.
  16. I liked this. I found that this episode had a more "grown up" feel to it than previous seasons. Much like I found the Originals to be once they left Mystic Falls. I feel that the characters are maturing somehow. Matt being a cop, the loss of Jeremy, Tyler & Elena...it just feels more "adult" now. I thought I liked the actress who plays Lily until I bingewatched Bosch over the summer and couldn't stand her character there. Sort of tainted Lily for me now. I need the group of heretics to disappear. I agree with the poster upthread who said that Damon de-hearted the one, why not the rest. Should be easy-peasy. Liked the Damon/Bonnie 3 Second scene. Love how he called her his best friend. For someone who was public enemy #1 during the first couple of seasons, Damon sure has a lot of people who want to be friends with him- Ric, Enzo, Bonnie. Even Caroline told Stefan she doesn't hate Damon. Which brings me to the Caroline/Stefan...I never fancied myself a shipper of these two but I may have squeed a little bit when she moved in for the kiss. I was never a Stefan fan during the Elena years but he has become so much more likeable to me since the triangle ended. There is something about these two. I really like them together.
  17. Benjen was Ned's brother who brought Jon to The Wall in S1. He was First Ranger, went out on a mission & never came back. Only his horse did.
  18. Olly, Thorne & the rest of the traitorous NWmen. I don't care who does it...Benjen can come back from wherever he is just because they took his name in vain. Just someone do it.
  19. Now I really need for Benjen to be alive for real. He needs to come back and take down the traitorous NWmen, not only for killing his nephew but for doing it in his name. Having said that, I will not believe Jon is truly dead until I see his body on a pyre with the funky coloured eyes. As has been mentioned, Mel showed up for a reason. Damn she got there quick though. Davos is quickly becoming one of my fave characters. I will only admit this once, but I maybe kind of liked Theon there for a short minute. I like how he had Sansa's (another one I have grown to like this season) back. When them camera panned down before the jump, it didn't look to me like soft snow. I couldn't concentrate on Arya's story. Or Dany's. That scene with Tyrion, Daario & Jorah seemed to go on forever. I did love Drogon. Poor baby just wanted some rest. Makes me feel bad for his brothers. Are they still locked up? Oh, and how is it possible that Jon never learned that Sansa was back at Winterfell married to Ramsay? Whatever happened to the raven network?
  20. I've decided that Jon & Davos (and maybe Sansa) are the only decent/root able characters left in Westeros. Haven't decided on Essos yet.
  21. I can still hear Shireen's screams. Not cool show. I hope Davos rips Stannis a new one when he comes back. Still finding the Dany story weak but damn if I didn't love Drogon. I so thought they would go there with Jaime & Ellaria. I thought they had a bit of chemistry in the initial scene with the wine spilling. When she showed up in his room (cell?)...I thought she was there to seduce him. In keeping with the theme of poor treatment of young girls, I also really thought that Bronn's get out of jail card was that he was going to have to marry or seduce the young Sand Snake girl. Glad Jon and his posse made it back to the Wall. I don't trust Alliser or the boy. The Wall scenes are still my faves of the show. I missed Winterfell. "A Man" still does nothing for me. I found that I couldn't focus on the Arya scenes because I was too distracted by how much Mace Tyrell reminded my the Mayor of Munchkinland from The Wizard of Oz.
  22. Damn Jon Snow...both the character & the actor have elevated their game. Those battle scenes were some of the best I've seen on tv ever. The last half hour kept me absolutely riveted to my tv screen. That's how to do CGI. I still love Cersei. I know she's had it coming but I still felt bad for her. Lena is so good. I'm tired of Tyrion. I no longer find him amusing. Putting him in scenes with Dany (who I still consider the weak link) does nothing for me. As does Arya and her story. My unpopular opinion is that Jaqen does nothing to appeal to me. I cannot stand his "A man this... And a girl that..". Nails on a chalkboard. Sansa is slowly continuing to become a favourite. Slowly she is learning the fates of all her surviving brothers. I think she will become a force to be reckoned with. Hopefully Ramsay won't know what hit him. While I will concede that the Theon actor is good, I still hate the character for all the reasons he spelled out. Even though Bran and Rickon are alive, he still killed 2 little boys.
  23. I don't even know where to begin. I am just bitter because I haven't been impressed with the last couple of episodes. I think my expectations have become too high. As much as I like Cersei, she did get what was coming to her. Lena played the hell out of her scenes though. I really need for Jon's story to proceed beyond the wildlings and to join in with the main plots. He really should have gone with Stannis. I am so tired of the North of the Wall storylines. Which leads me to..... Gilly and Sam. I really did not need to see THAT scene between them. To me they are wasted characters on a good day. Loved seeing Ghost though. I kind of liked the scenes between Bronn and the Sand Snakes. While the strip show was a bit much, I did love the reactions of the other girls. As an eye roller, I totally appreciated where they were coming from. Best scenes of the episode were the Winterfell ones by far. Sansa is quietly becoming a fave this season. As someone above mentioned, I noticed her "Things that make you go hmm" face when Ramsay mentioned that Jon is now LC of the NW. Glad she was able to stand up to him a bit. As someone who liked Ramsay at the beginning of the season (strictly because of his treatment of Theon), he can die now. He is now rivalling Theon as most hated character. Continue to love Davos. Things aren't going to end well for Stannis or Shireen are they? I wish Mel would be the one to die in fire. Finally, I'm sorry, but I just cannot muster any excitement to the Dany/Tyrion scene. I find Dany to be weak link. Tyrion has been grating a bit lately too. Poor Jorah just seems so desperate for Dany's approval, to me it's bordering on pathetic already. Give it up dude. She's just not into you anymore.
  24. Sawyer, Boone, Shannon, Sayid, Juliet, Miles Charlie, Jack, Sun, Desmond, Michael, Libby I'm an odd one.....3>1>5>6>4>2 I'm not going to answer this only because I was never one to remember the names of the episodes. I loved too many of them to choose. Loved Sawyer/Juliet, Boone/Shannon, Sayid/Nadia Here comes the Queen of Unpop opinions on LOST love......Kate/Jack, Kate/Sawyer, Charlie/Claire, Sun/Jin, Desmond/Penny, Hurley/Libby Sawyer/Miles in the later seasons was my fave bromance by far.
  25. He may be a good person but I just find Sam, and by association Gilly & the baby, so boring. If I didn't watch live every week, FF material for sure. Sam seems to have only one facial expression and I find the actor's way of speaking so slow and dragged out. I can't muster up any interest.
