  1. Felix died at least a couple of days before the wedding. Not sure exactly when, but Matt and Caryn were still there and showing Amy and Chris what had been finished in preparation for the wedding. Definitely sad to lose him so close to the wedding though. I do like Lisa and Deb, but did not enjoy the game they were playing in the hot tub. They know Amy well enough to know that she would not be comfortable in answering those questions, and certainly not on camera. I similarly have close friends who always have my back, but I would not answer those questions even with them. I think the scene must have been producer driven, and was the only part of the episode I did not like.
  2. Just looked back and can't find the spot where I thought Audrey and Tori were sitting side by side. However before the ceremony starts there is a short clip of Jeremy sitting with Bodi and Zach with Lila, sitting on the bench at the front. The chairs are set up behind, and if it was Molly they showed in the jumpsuit she is sitting right behind. Later in the ceremony it shows Zach Tori and kids on the bench, and I think Audrey's arm beside Zach. I assume they are showing more of Zach and Tori since they are paid to be on the show. At the reception Zach and his family and Jer and his family are sitting at the same table during dinner. Makes sense since they are the sibs with kids that they would sit together, and total 8 in all which is likely how many there were to a table. So I don't see any evidence of Zach and Tori being apart from the other sibs at any point.
  3. Don't think so. In the episode Amy said she inherited it after her mom died. In People magazine Amy said it was her great grandmother's, passed down to her grandmother, then mom, then to Amy.
  4. Weren't Tori and Audrey sitting side by side at the ceremony? I'll have to look again if I haven't deleted the episode. It took me a minute to recognize Jeremy - I still picture him with the man bun.
  5. Just got a chance to watch the episode today, and thought the wedding was beautiful and well done. I give props to Amy and especially Chris for saying their own vows. I know it is a popular thing to do these days, but no way I would do it. Hubby and I said exactly 8 words in total - I do, I do, I will ,I will. I loved Amy's rocks. Looking back I would have done a different wedding favour as ours were small boxes with the our names, date, and fudge inside. But many left the boxes behind. I loved the rocks as they were simple, pretty and could be put anywhere as a reminder of the day. I would use one as a paper weight. I loved that they were hand painted, as many favours are just bought with no connection to the couple at all. I think Chris's tears were sweet, and not at all unusual for a guy to get more sentimental as he gets older. And it was his first and only wedding. I loved that he said that he waited, rather than just get married for the sake of getting married. Lots of people get married for the sake of getting married, and do it several times over. Good for Chris. Lastly Amy's mom must have had some gorgeous jewelry. Amy has two other sisters and a brother, so I would assume they were all given jewelry? That bracelet was exquisite, absolutely gorgeous.
  6. That's funny, because I have never understood how Pete Davidson gets all these women, but I know nothing about him including that he is funny. So now it makes total sense. And yes, I do love a man who pokes fun at himself. I remember not knowing much about Keith Urban years ago when he started judging on AI. I started watching again at that time because of Harry Connick Jr, but totally fell in love with Keith. Not because he was funny, but because he was just the sweetest guy. Jerry for me is the combination of sweet and funny. And he is pretty cute too.
  7. I never had, or wanted, kids. So many guys told my husband how lucky he was that I did not have kids -lol.
  8. There is nothing sexier to me than a man that is funny. I love Jerry! Today he had me howling when he said that if Mick Jagger wanted his wife, he would also have to take the cats, kids, dogs. etc. I thought it was hilarious as I think that happens quite often IRL, where the person is all hot for someone, and further down the line realizes that they also come with a whole lot of other "stuff".
  9. Sheryl has always been my least favourite host in the time I have watched. I think she may have gotten her nose out of joint if she was not consulted, but I also think she is smart enough to know that if Natalie has brought up the ratings, she should be thanking her. I think of all the hosts Sheryl likely needs the job the most.
  10. I have been catching up on PVR'd shows from last week and yesterday, and watched today until the guest, who I do not know. I have enjoyed the shows, other than seeing the Smiths in three different segments over 6 shows. The Talk really needs to give Will and Jada less (read no) air time no matter what the topic. Loved the Bill Pullman interview yesterday, I have had a crush on him since While You Were Sleeping. I have watched the previous seasons of The Sinner, and didn't realize a new season had started. I will watch this week even though it is episode 5, just because I love Lunenberg (and Bill of course), and watch the whole series later. I loved the hosts imitating Lada Gaga - hilarious. I have been wondering how the rating are doing - glad to see the show is getting the attention it deserves.
  11. Oh, it definitely was a misdirect, but certainly not something that Dateline hasn't done before. Right down to the same people painting the person in question in a positive light early on, and not so much later on. Even IRL people's opinions change of someone, depending on their actions and circumstances. I think Dateline dragged the St Carlos version out a little too long, but it is hardly the first time especially when they are padding an episode so that they can stretch it to cover two hours.
  12. Didn't they say that Carlos had been drinking and taking drugs from the age of 11? I guess maybe they were close in relation to the mother's relationship with Angel, but it sounds like Carlos was a handful for several years before he killed his mother. I think the friend may have been envious early on, but not likely in his later teen years. I think also the friend only took him in for a week until CPS was able to find another place for him to stay. Wasn't she also the friend who the mom asked to look after her dogs if something happened to her? Or was that a different friend? I of course was hoping that they would say that the dogs went to a good home.
  13. Horror at the Lake - like others, it was obvious to me that it was Carlos if for no other reason than he was not being interviewed from the start, when the episode description included Carlos being interviewed. But you can pretty much bet that when a Dateline episode paints a rosy picture of a relationship in hour number one, hour number two will rip that picture in two. This is yet another episode that could have easily been an hour long. Though I guess the case was solved fairly quickly, as Dateline was dragging it out, I wondered why the police did not read her journals as they had with Angel, to find out what was really going on. I did not believe him in his jail house interview, at all. It was pretty obvious from his list of demands that he thought he was running the show, and deserved to be. And whining that his mother wanted him to contribute to the household? Everything he said had me shaking my head. He is where he deserves to be, and I have no sympathy for him.
  14. I thought the sheet woman should have gone with Lori as well, and that the wedding lady should have gone with Kevin over Robert. As much as I love it when Robert beats out Kevin (or any shark for that matter) to get a deal, Kevin seemed like a much better fit for her business. I still don't understand how the sheet gadget stops sheets from bunching, but it isn't a problem that I have so would not interest me. I thought the clothing was very pricy, but the young man was very impressive. When Daymond matched (I think it was) Mark at 25 percent, I thought that it was a high ask and loved when the teen countered at 20%. What I loved even more was when Daymond went up to hug him, and said he was glad that he countered.
  15. I figured that it likely pays pretty well (depending on the movie's budget of course) since well known actors with recognizable voices are often hired. BTW I didn't know you were an actor. Always nice to get the perspective of someone in the business!
  16. Lol. I often wonder how hard it is to voice an animated character? Or direct for that matter. Maybe Erica will be hard up enough for money to voice her own character?
  17. Maybe Disney should create a new movie with Erica as the villain. She is already pretty much a cartoon character, and Crystal's husband could direct.
  18. Yes, the Dragons are for the most part a polite bunch. I have just watched the next episode, and loved it when Mr Wonderful told the pitcher that yes, the pitcher should listen to other offers before making a decision. Kevin cut his teeth right on Dragon's Den.
  19. I thought Josh should have made the dog a part of the deal. I do wonder though if this was just another story line that never really happened as presented. If it did happen as shown,, Tracy is damn lucky to have a friend who would basically give her $200,000 so she could renovate, since that is really what Flagg did. Altman's conversation with Heather seemed to me like another scene just for the sake of the show, rather than an actual consideration, for the reasons you have stated. At least Heather had the sense to point out that even 3 million is a lot of money to fork out for someone else. I usually do not like mid century modern homes, but I did like that one along with the beautiful view. It will be interesting if the idea comes up again.
  20. Isn't Bubba one of her favs for PK? He does fit the nickname, but it hardly seems like a compliment.
  21. I think she is likely sharp as a tack as well. What I did like about Kathy was that she wasn't into glam squads (did we ever see he use one?)and often didn't care what she wore. I found that refreshing, after the pretentiousness of the label wearing Erica and Dorito. She seems to be a person who is comfortable in her own skin, which I think is unusual in a howife.
  22. LOL. I know who Dorito is married to. I don't believe PK is worth 50 million (which in the grand scheme of things is not that rich in any case) any more than I believe that he lost billions several years ago as he claimed several episodes ago while talking to the other husbands. Edited to add: doesn't community property in California only come in effect after 10 years of marriage? Wasn't that always the reason people thought Tom Cruise divorced Nicole Kidman just before the 10 year mark? In any case Dorito and PK have only been married 6 years.
  23. She was very different that I expected, though I also think some of her persona is an act. I expected someone like Dorito on steroids, meaning someone who is really rich and acts like it. (As opposed to Dorito, who acts really rich but I don't believe is). I expected Heather Dubrow level of snobbiness, but did not find Kathy to be that way at all, or at least not for the most part.
  24. Still trying to figure out why Bravo thought RHoBH needed a 4 hour reunion. The only reason I can come up with is that there were no reunion shows for RHoNY, so they had to make that revenue up somewhere else. Andy is such a bad interviewer. When Erica stated previously that her Bravo paychecks went straight to Tom, why did he not question that? I assume Bravo doesn't issue paper cheques, but that possibly they were deposited into an account for Erika Jayne's vanity shows, and controlled by Tom since he (or the widows and orphans) funded her hobby? In any case, how did she apparently get access to her Bravo paycheques? Since a simple question, and one that Andy totally overlooked. I am sure I was not the only person yelling at Andy to ask the damn question. I was really hoping for more from Crystal, since she said that she was more talkative at the reunion shows. She was , as others have pointed out, quiet as a mouse. Certainly in this 4th installment. About the only time she spoke up was to tell Sutton that lying was a strong word. As someone pointed out upthread, it isn't as strong a word as "violated", which Crystal threw at Sutton numerous times during the season. I really have tried to give Crystal a chance, but she brings nothing to the show. I was glad to see Garcelle admit that she felt bad for not coming to Sutton's defense when Erica was threatening her at Kathy's dinner party. I still blame Kathy though who, as the hostess, should have asked Erica to leave. I have enjoyed Kathy for the most part this season (a big surprise to me), but the loopy rich lady act doesn't play well in every circumstance.
  25. I didn't like the fitness studio, and question the amount of calories they claim a 30 minute workout would burn. For that intensity, I would think someone would have to be in pretty good shape to start with, or risk getting hurt. Also I think the pandemic has changed how many people work out. I know several people including two nieces who bought peloton bikes and now exercise at home to online workouts, and love the convenience of it. Personally I prefer to get my exercise through sports and outdoor activities, so gyms have never interested me. I thought the Common Sense Toilet Company founder was lacking in common sense. I just kept picturing my back touching this ring as it protrudes from the underside of the toilet seat lid, as I sit on the biffy doing my business. Eeeewwwww. I kept waiting for a Dragon to point that out. Another solution in search of a problem. I liked the guy selling the clothing line for husky men, but find the problem for people like my hubby is that he can find very nice clothes, particularly at a store called Big and Tall, but since he is tall but not big the clothes are usually too wide for him. It is hard finding clothes just for tall I find. But more power to him as men should be able to look just as nice as women if they care to.
