That speech could have just as easily swerved into "and once you have their trust then you get their money" territory but he kept it sincere. John Goodman is a national treasure, the look/s on his face when Gideon said he wanted to become a preacher and wanted Eli to teach him said so much. And really what more can be said about Goggins?
