  1. ok toilet humor is not very sophisticated but I was laughing so hard at the end there.
  2. I was so worried for Cristobal in the sand, actually breathed a sigh of relief when Hank got him out. But then he had to develop something resembling a conscience.
  3. Guillermo Del Toro!! that first scene with Gene had some killer lines do you own a weapon? He has a prop gun that Rip Torn gave him Well if Rip Torn gave it to him it probably shoots real bullets. I have many stories like that but I can't talk about them Because they're classified? No they're really disturbing and I don't like to think about them
  4. He went to some school in the Caribbean, because he couldn't get into an american school due to grades. He's also mentioned having massive medical debt due to a relative's (mother's?) illness in the episode where he proposed that a couple get a divorce to insulate the husband from the wife's medical bills.
  5. this season was pretty uneven, though mostly enjoyable IMO. What's with the jet/rocket packs? in one episode they don''t have the range to chase a space-roc and in this they can take a guy into orbit.
  6. that round table shot was perfection. Love this show.
  7. A so-so show IMO. Lisa from Temecula did not need to be a recurring character. Loved the spanish sketch.
  8. she did date Jackson, Catherine's son, and Richard her bio-dad is Catherine's husband. I'd call those ties.
  9. She was friends with roommate's grandson in med school.
  10. I was also expecting something like a bomb in the PRT, but had to tell myself that was (probably) too out there for Greys.
  11. Hey it's Dr. Nick! I was wondering if he had pulled a Hanh and just quietly disappeared.
  12. yes Marlene gave the switchblade to Joel as she sent him away from the hospital, she presumably took it off Ellie and was giving it to Joel as a keepsake.
  13. Ellie had her switchblade for the run of the series.
  14. Marlene and her group had just been in a firefight with Robert and his crew. She was suffering from a gut shot and the only survivor of her cell was missing an ear. They weren't sure that they'd make it out the QZ nevermind get to the meet up spot with the other fireflys.
  15. or, and I realize that this wild speculation, he doesn't share your opinion of the work and your opinion may not actually be a universal one.
  16. why would he have spent the last decade rewriting the ending to his critically acclaimed game?
  17. kind of lacklaster show IMO, though I can't put my finger on anything particular bringing it down. The diner pre-tape was the great and I thought the jingle sketch was the best of the night. Will be interesting to see how many pretapes we get next new show as it is scheduled for when the editors go on strike. And though the chances of me ever having to refer to him in conversation are low Mario Lopez will now forever be Mario Luigi to me.
  18. as mentioned, a solid middle of the road show, nothing terrible nothing great. The straight male friend was the best part with the american girl sketch being the best live bit. WU still kills.
  19. they're not zombies. The infected are not Walking Dead style animated corpses. A headshot is not required to kill them. Stabbing the infected in the chest could puncture a lung or a major vein/artery, causing the infected to die.
  20. i've seen that before with other hosts, they have their own "wrangler" to lead them to where they have to go for costume/hair/etc between sketches. The next thing we saw woody in after that was the whale sketch so it would have required quite a bit to get him into the fat suit/make up.
  21. that was an ok episode, not great but there have been many that were far worse. Loved the running "5 timer jacket" joke and the Hippo/whale sketch. Did they do WU joke swap early? cause that was great. edit: and the cologuard sketch was great too
  22. the look was pretty clearly "you little smart ass" or similar. unrelated people of different genders and ages can spend time together without it automatically being a sexual thing. There is no evidence that either of them are sexually/romantically interested in each other, they're clearly developing a surrogate father/daughter relationship
  23. that's what i came here to say. That was an extremely thin case. They established motive, had a weak general description of the shooter from the officer and evidence that he defendant was in the area around the time of the shooting. They never found a weapon or tied one to the defendant. Some testimony along the lines of "the defendant bought a gun from me" or "i saw a gun on the defendant's kitchen table" would have helped a lot.
