I've seen them called "fun-guys" elsewheres AS for the question of how did FEDRA get so bad: Power corrupts. 20 years of being the top dog with no one to check you is going to lead bad behaviour.

as mentioned bit of a letdown from last week still nice to see the Joel/Ellie relationship growing. Joel stashing his rifle last week cause "there isn't much ammo out there" for it is kind of bullshit, the M-16/M-4 is the standard rifle of the US military and the AR-15 is super common in the civilian world, there is going to plenty of ammo for it around.

according to Wiki he's been in the L&O verse 4 times (Original flavor once, Criminal intent twice as different characters, SVU once). Great episode, the ones where the host is totally willing to throw themselves into it are always the best. Loved how Ego was the only one holding it together during the steak sketch.

1. He didn't grow up with Pete, they only met a few years ago. B. People growing up to be nothing like their parents is about as common as people growing to be exactly like their parents IMO

Offerman (the man not the characters he's played) to me has always come across as displaying the stereotypical "Manly man" virtues but without being an asshole. Bill seems pretty close to him. Fantastic episode and acting from both Offerman and Bartlett.

probably used the dress rehearsal version. I don't think they reshoot sketches past airing.

started strong but quickly fell to so-so. MBJ was good, just not a lot to work with, he had what 5 lines in the towel boy sketch?. Pre-taped bits were solid.

it was a fresh kill, so infected were definitely in the area recently

really good show would love to see her back as host. Didn't know about the backstory behind the miss universe sketch but found it funny anyways.

seduction to the dark side is a pretty classic bad-person move

but then it might not have been as funny, the humor comes from more than just the writing for a particular part, performance is a significant part of making something funny.

while she was singing I was wondering where I had heard it before, it hit me this morning I had heard Pearl Jam's cover a week or so earlier.

pretty much exactly what i was going to say, I would not be opposed to seeing AB host again. Christmas epiphany killed me.

its Tanya, she's dead, deceased, passed on, shuffled off this mortal coil, joined the choir invisible, pining for the fjords. She is an Ex-Heiress

how can you have a show with Hockey goons and not have Georges Laraque?!

it did get dusty in here

ok Keith David's line reading as he goes through the steps of blaming the rogue lightsaber on the Saudis killed me.

I'm pretty sure they did the deed, and Harper was crying at dinner because good old honest Ethan told her about it.

pretty solid. WU killed again. Loved the over the top absurdity of the scrooge sketch -
boy is there egg on my face. Ok still not on the "quentin is going to kill tanya for greg" team, now team "quentin is going to film tanya cheating on greg thus allowing him to divorce her without the terms of the pre-nup applying"

very funny solid show, funniest and most consistent of the season IMO. Only sketch i didn't like was the last one so good timing there. WU continues to kill.

all the dialogue felt too modern
