New season films in June. According to the article, it's "Unfinished Business," one team gets the Boston Rob (fourth attempt), and only two of the rumored teams makes me really happy. Also, this is the fourth season with returning Racers. That's out of 31. How many seasons of Survivor had at least half the contestants being repeaters? ETA: . . . aaaaaaaaaaaaand it's probably an April Fool's gag. Should've guessed.

Just looked at the schedule again. I looked up the kanji for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and it matched what I saw on the website. I think this is what we get starting at 2:45: 245: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders 3:15: Hunter X Hunter (the repeating characters and "X" give it away) 3:45: Naruto Shippuden (what crossed me up is that the time listed is "1:30." Also, is this where we finally break out of the filler?) 4:15: Space Dandy (turns out there's a star in the kanji, and you can see Dandy in the background) 4:45: Cowboy Bebop (it wrapped up last week, so I'm getting we'll be getting "Asteroid Blues") 5:15: Ghost In The Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG ("2nd GIG" is there, so that's a no-brainer) 5:45: [No fucking clue. I'm looking at this site and the schedule, and I can't get the stuff to match. All I got is "久力," which is spelled in "kuriki" in English, and that translates to "Kumi."] [Hang on . . . clicked the title, and it lead to something called "Scavengers." I put it in the translator, and the kanji matches] Oh, and the other big question is if the rest of the schedule is subbed or dubbed. ETA: Subs!! As good as Richard Epcar is at playing out Joseph Joestar's extreme reactions, I reckon the original might be a bit better. "OH MY GAAAAWWWWWWDDDD!!!!!!"

ALERT!!!! In case you didn't find out, Toonami's schedule got jacked up for April Fool's Day. They ran FLCL: Progressive at midight, followed by Mind Game going on now. I went to Toonami's main site and looked at the schedule, which is in kanji. I can't read it or copy-and-paste, but I can look up "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure" on Wikipedia . . . and the kanji matches the schedule for 2:45. I think that's when we'll see Joseph and Avdol's really bad day, courtesy of Mariah. "HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!" ETA: Looks like subs for JBA. Dunno if the schedule with reair next week with dubs.

@Matt K . . . I deduced as much. Hence the link to the Toonami site, where there’s a schedule. In kanji. Another question: will of the new stuff be scheduled for Toonami down the line? Aside from FLCL, which will air its new edition in May. ETA: I think a new HxH airs at 3:15. ETA2: Here’s the IMDB entry. It’s a movie. The shows on the schedule are on irregualr times, so it looks like I’m recording everything before CN starts up again.

No clue if we’re seeing this first episode on loop or the full run of Alternative. Nicely done either way. ETA: 1. What is Mind Game? 2. Does anybody here read Japanese? I can’t read the schedule beyond “Naruto.”

Catching up. Gotta love the latest episode . . . the Team gets trapped in an elevator with a naked old man with a huge erection. To pass the team, they reminisce about their favorite mysteries . . . and, as luck would have it, they were all shown in the opening credits. Then the codger reveals the times Mike wrecked his life . . . including the time that he was helping rob a bank, Marquess phased through a wall to scare them . . .. then spent twenty minutes posing in front of the mirror. Very meta episode.

More angst. More drama. And an old lady trying to kill/subdue Black Lightning for the money by dropping appliances from the window. I needed the laugh. So Jenn = Red Lightning? Sadly, if she creates energy, she's probably going to explode. This is opposed to Anissa, who has the density thing working for her. I'm hoping Gambi heals up enough to make a sweet outfit for Jenn. So Lala's ability is seeing dead people and taking them into himself? When does he make out with his cousin?

Dang. No wonder Hale is a cranky cuss. If you go up the ranks of Hydra High, and your designated position involves being a brood mare? Well, that sucks on many, many levels. Is the Confederacy tied into Infinity War? Or is this a whole other deal? Shit, Talbot got pulled through the ringer. Was he faking brain damage in the hospital? I will say that I like Adrian Pasdar as Talbot a helluva lot more than Morgan Edge on Supergirl. And that's on Tabot's derogatory nicknames for Hydra alone. He called them "Squidbillies." As an Adult Swim addict, I found that so funny. So, of course, Talbot got broken into many pieces. Poor bastard. And dang, Fitz is really messed up. Cute that Jemma laid the Deke bomb on him. Nothing snaps you out of drama than realizing Future Asshole is your grandson. Also: was anybody else expecting an unconscious Elena to flip off Mack and Jemma during the operation? ETA: "How are we still fighting Nazis?" I see you, Daisy. I see you.

Like I said, I’m okay with Sandra being the only two-time champ. How about a season with 6-9 winners? When the last one gets voted out, Sandra could pop out of nowhere, grab the torch snuffer, shout “QUEEN STAYS QUEEN!!l” and clock Probst upside the head with it.

That’s a bit clever, though the possibility of overuse is there. Front page had Rusty, his stories were in the sports section.

I’m going to miss “Shafted.” Like Roy’s segments of black history in February, Desi and Dulche did a good job with bits that were low-rent yet humorous.

Anybody wondering if Toonami will have April Fool's hinjinks? Also: I have one more volume of Assassination Classroom to read. The anime should be picked up here. There's a good chance I'll be okay with whatever Toonami picks up down the line, but a story about a weird tentacled creature teaching the kids that are trying to kill him? It's actually pretty deep.

You might be right. And check out the sub and dub. I think Richard Epcar has been doing a great job with Oldjo's many. many freakouts. What's funnier: Oldjo figuring out he was magnetic before stumbling onto an escalator? Begging Mariah for help? Freaking the fuck out as he saw his life ending? Or playing it off after Avdol takes too long to explain that he wasn't dying?

It's almost as if though Fox knew this episode would air at the same time as "Scoobynatural," so things had to be extra bugfuck. Jervis Tetch taking his leave of Arkham by whammying a guar to kill her colleague? That's just the appetizer. Subliminal radio forcing Gohamites to the brink of suicide, Jerome getting pwned by his uncle because Bruce saves him, Harvey forcing himself into a dire situation, Bruce playing spoiler brat to buy time for a theft by Selina at the precinct . . . .and Jim saving the day by working around Tetch's mindfuck. But, of course, he gets freed to help Jerome and Scarecrow terrorize the city some more. And let's check in on Barbara, Whatcha got for us, Babs? "BY THE HONOR OF THE DEMON'S HEAD!!!! IIIIIIIII HAAAAAAAAAAVVVVEEE THE POOOOOOWWWWWEEEEEEERRR!!!!" The other takeaway is that she was regenerating. Given the number of looks the character has had in four season, that might be more apt a comparison than She-Ra. And now, she's the new Ra's, with the League of Shadows (Assassins? Arrow trips me up) ladies forming the head of the spear, which . . . *snerk* Great episode, and I didn't miss Oswald and Ed. That's an accomplishment in of itself. ETA for @Miss Dee . . . I did not think of that, and now I feel like a dope. That's a "like" for you!

I liked this plot. Why do we have to deal with Arrow Civil War and The Villains Who Aren't Cayden James And Therefore Irrelevant? Just give Thea, Roy and Nyssa. And maybe Sara pops up every six months to shake things up. Even in death, Malcolm Merlyn wrecks lives. And there's still a part of me convinced that Damien Dark and Reverse Flash "recruited" him from Lian Yu in the season finale. Aside from that, this was a fun episode. Puzzle box, assassin ninjas, Felicity and Nyssa tossing shade at each other . . . .and the Fibonacci Sequence. And Nyssa officially gives up Oliver, but not before referring to Felicity as "Sister Wife," which was cute. Oh, and Dinah did come investigating, and Curtis might have a new love interest. Yay? Seriously, I think Curtis needs therapy . . . not for the choices he's made this season, but because he's always talking way too fast, way too often Kinda like Early Felicity. Still not hating the guy. Or Felicity Or Rene, though I'd be amused if he spent a few episodes only able to say "Hoss." If Thea .is gone, does that mean EBR gets third billing? I'm good with Willa, but how long was Thea in a coma this season?

Shit, why isn't the bit with Desi getting her Sarah Huckabee Sanders on up anywhere? Funny shit, and shade on SHS is never uncalled for.

Watching last night's episode now, with the segment of Judge Jeanine. Nothing like watching a montage of her ridiculing the left, and seeing the city of "Instabul" mentioned in a crawl Fox News, everybody!! Thinking about last week . . . what other show would crash at a teen's house? I can't think of any. ETA: Does the show have a final segment anymore? The last few days, I've fast-forwarded the DVR, and I went from commercials to South Park episodes.

The first episode looked awesome at NYCC.
