I think C&C will go for the row. Colin's arms got them into the final leg last time. -

I can understand the butthurt. "I get the pride for your show, and I know we're all trying to win. But I'm not Rachel, and I'm not remotely related to her! -

Codebreaking Roadblock. Very different. I like it. -

I get how they can bug, but no Racer has run in three seasons and not made the finale once. If it comes down to them and Nicole & Victor for the final spot, I know who I'm rooting for. -

Dwayne Johnson doing a plug with tangential tie-in to TAR! Wooooooooo!!!!! You think the Afghanimals felt butthurt when four-place teams in TAR25 and TAR26 got to run the final leg? -

I am ready. I know, the t-shirt doesn't ready well, but I had to wear it. Does anyone else have one of those from the TWoP days? -
The fat Thor gets an official name: Bro Thor. So simple, so obvious. It's beautiful.

Onion "article" not meant for Orioles fans who get riled easily.

. . . I miss TARCon. Lots of folks I'd like to meet, and I never hit up Colin & Christie at TARCon 5.

RW in the Media: Somehow the Show is Almost Relevant
Lantern7 replied to scrb's topic in The Real World
I'm good with it. Anyone involved with Ridiculousness doesn't deserve even a tenth of what your average Challenger deserves. I will admit that I can see where running one show all weekend can bug. If RW breaks out, maybe it will rejoin MTV. But after the disaster that was Bad Blood, I doubt it. -
Tomorrow Today: Media & Behind The Scenes Of LOT
Lantern7 replied to Trini's topic in Legends Of Tomorrow
Oh, very nice. I collect sketches, and I have a Todd Ingram of my own . . . but I think I used the book as a reference, as opposed to the movie. I also have this Brandon-as-Ray/Atom that I got last year. The artist focused on the eyebrows. -
And I appreciate that. I wound up not going into TAR31 itself, opting to show why I feel the series has been mostly unappreciated by CBS. I could write more after tomorrow night’s finale. 😀

Tomorrow Today: Media & Behind The Scenes Of LOT
Lantern7 replied to Trini's topic in Legends Of Tomorrow
There’s always the Heroes Fan Fest shows, if you want to see (and meet) Legends folk. I get why LoT has no panel presence, but it stings a little because I consider it to be the best Arrowverse show. Needless to say, I was okay with most of S4. 🤷♂️ -
I managed to get motivated about writing on my blog, and I banged out an essay on TAR's underdog status. Feedback would be welcome, and I apologize in advance if it looks like I veer from the path from time to time.

S11.E04: Seattle/Tacoma City Qualifiers
Lantern7 replied to Lantern7's topic in American Ninja Warrior
Sean Bryan is "the Pope's favorite ninja." Uh huh. Now I got this image of Francis writing to NBC, saying that his "ride or die" is Jake Murray. "I know, his stunts are so cornball . . . and if I am a cornball for liking him, so be it." Jake's Hannibal Lechter bit was inspired, BTW. Jessie's back! And she cleared the course! And Sammo watched the whole time! Yeah, I don't think Sammo was paying much attention. Occasionally, I visit her Instagram. She's gotten bigger. And here's hoping Jessie isn't called back for last-minute stuntwork. I'm still interested in whether she can rebound from her fall in 2017. -
Damn. So there's no chance that MLB would give a big chunk of money to either city? It doesn't seem fair when you think about it, having big league baseball in places where most of the people could care else. Also, the few fans in Miami have as many titles to reminisce about as the Mets, and that low-key pisses me off.

#GeeksCantHaveAnythingNice Also . . . Morgan possibly supplanting Riri Williams as Ironheart . . . fucking how?!? I didn't think of that while watching the movie . . . I was too busy wondering why the kid didn't have a name homaging Arno Stark, aka Iron Man 2020. But seriously, why pick on a child actress? Some people can't help being total assholes. Same people probably laugh at old people slipping on ice.

. . . aaaaaaaaaand the Geoff Britten comeback is kaput. Tripped up on the balance obstacle. I'm guessing they had to stop taping due to all the crying. Not from Geoff or his family . . . . no, from Akbar, because now he can't yell "BRITTEN'S GOT TALENT!!!!!!" ETA: Leif the Swedish Ninja just became the first person to finish a qualifying course in under a minute. -
Heads up: the second season of Final Space starts tonight at 11:30 p.m. Hot Streets takes over the midnight-12:30 slot, starting with the first season.

. . . . and our Landmark Momma is Sandy Zimmerman. Made it up the Wall on her second try, and posed with one arm before hitting the buzzer. If Matt and Akbar didn't have at least one pair of ruined pants between them, I will be shocked AF. ETA: I don't remember her if she popped up in the past. I was thinking Zhanique would've been the first mother up the Wall, with her kid slowly killing himself dancing and willing her all the way through.
