  1. Isn't blonde hair recessive? Meaning if your dark haired mother and your dark haired father both had a blonde gene and they each passed their blonde gene to you, you would be a blonde with dark haired parents. I think it if was the other way around, it would be a problem. Two naturally blonde people would not a dark haired child because they would have only blonde genes to pass on. Other than that, I have nothing. Still not watching and still not hearing about anything that would entice me to watch.
  2. I'm not watching the show so maybe there's more to it but really? baking is why he's being bullied? I watch cooking and baking shows with boys and men (including "manly" NFL players) all over them. It seems stupid that the fact that Aiden likes to bake is grounds for bullying; nowadays its a road to fame and fortune. It's pretty mainstream.
  3. Allegra, of course! Thank you! I really couldn't remember the name and it was driving me a little crazy. I haven't been watching so I haven't seen what Ava's been doing and saying about Kiki but I do believe there is a difference between being really angry at someone/thinking about ways to get back at them and wanting them dead. I think you can be really angry at someone and still be shocked and really upset when they suddenly die.
  4. What was the horse's name? All I can come up with is "Antihistamine" - I know that's not right but I feel like it's close. And yeah, in my mind, that's a felony - even by GH standards.
  5. I could totally get behind Ryan wiping out those two.
  6. As a native Floridian, I'll just say be careful what you wish for. :-)
  7. I agree. Hard pass. If I had to pick one GH cast member to hang out with, based solely on interviews and social media, I think it would be Kin. He just seems like a normal, decent, loyal friend who is a lot of fun.
  8. I doubt it. Didn't JT tell a story about how he would talk to her about their scenes and try to come up with the motivation for what the characters were doing and she just laughed at him and basically said "just read what's on the page"? ETA - that's not a dig at KeMo; I'm just saying that I don't think she gets overly caught up about the characters' actions.
  9. I think that's probably the justification of a lot of bad guys who don't want to think of themselves as bad. I haven't really watched in years, and honestly, I used to find Sonny more tolerable than I do now. But, his whole mob thing was ridiculous. They wanted us to not think Sonny was a bad person. So, they made a point of him repeatedly saying that he doesn't deal in drugs or prostitution because those things are bad. Well, what the heck is he doing then? Illegal weapons trade? Is that better? Those weapons are probably mostly being used by, wait for it, drug dealers and gangbangers. Yes, Sonny, you're a paragon of virtue with clean hands. Don't forget "protection". Yes sir, our hero extorts money from hard working business owners so their businesses don't get robbed or burned down.
  10. He was an adult, supposedly. Never gets old. Rest in peace Silas.
  11. As they were exiting jail, Gibbs said something along the lines that with Torres' training, it was inexcusable for him to get in a bar fight. I think the implication was that he could have done real damage to those guys and because of his training could have been in real trouble. As far as why Palmer wasn't getting in trouble - he doesn't have the training that Torres does and he doesn't report to Gibbs. I think it would have been on Ducky to discipline him.
  12. This was the first post I saw today. Before I went to the previous page, I was sure this was referring to SWSNBN (she sure as hell got on my nerves) but I could only think of one (thankfully permanent) death for her so I was momentarily confused.
  13. Since Ava and Kiki can't stand each other right now, where is the drama in making Nina her mother? Kiki already hates Ava so why would she care if she turned out not to be her mother. Also, even if Nina is the birth mother, Nina was never going to raise Kiki since she was in a coma, so its not like Ava robbed Kiki of some relationship. If Ava hadn't raised her someone else would have. And Madeline never would have let Silas know he had a daughter because it would have given him a claim to her estate. Where was the damage to Kiki? I just don't get what the point would be.
  14. You're right - as I said, I'm not watching so I missed that part. If Kim specifically asked her not to tell Franco, then I don't see a reason why she needs to tell him. If he asks, then she can say Kim confided a very personal secret to her and asked her not to say anything to anyone and Liz would like to respect that request. Normal people might really want to know but would ultimately respect her decision, especially if she tells him if has nothing to do with either Liz or Franco.
  15. Not a fan of Franco and certainly not of Elizabeth and Franco (and I'm not watching so perhaps I missed something) but I tell my husband stuff about my friends' family that has nothing to do with us as a couple. I don't actually think its that odd to tell stuff like that to your significant other. I don't tell him because I'm obligated by some weird relationship contract but just because its the kind of stuff you discuss.
  16. Will Monica get the car horn treatment too? Ooh, maybe she will be a doorbell chime since Sam lives in a Penthouse and Monica can't just honk for her to bring out the kids.
  17. The problem is the Duke cousins were not mobsters. They broke some rules in order to set some situation right (which usually wasn't a problem of their making). Sonny and Jason are criminals. When Lucky, Emily, Liz and Nik were dealing with some caper where they broke some rules and got the better of the PCPD, I was okay with that because those four were not criminals. I resent the criminals always being better than the police/D.A. By the way, this little rant is just a general statement and not because I think Asp Burger thinks Sonny/Jason are rootable.
  18. Why couldn't that Dante have stuck around? I always like Dante but I HATED that he ever got past his hatred of Sonny. All of Sonny's kids were much more interesting to me during the periods of time they hated him.
  19. I know that no one here is saying anything different but that makes zero sense. While Robin and Jason were close, Patrick couldn't stand Jason. I'm sure if something happened to my husband it would totally make me feel closer to him to seek out someone that hated his guts. Whatever, show.
  20. I agree. After The Defenders, I don't see how they can.... Now, after seeing the chemistry between Karen and Frank, putting Matt and Karen together would make even less sense.
  21. The way I saw that scene is that it wasn't a meteor that crashed into Earth but the alien ship. The government(s)? told the meteor lie and then raided the alien ship for technology. In the flashback, Maureen told the kids that it was weird a meteor that size could crash into Earth without them having months of warning and without their being additional smaller pieces of the meteor hitting the earth. She said it didn't really make sense. The project Maureen was working on was after the "meteor" hit and Earth was dying and the only reason they were able to make Maureen's plan work is because they had discovered the alien technology.
  22. Judy said she just needed an inch to get Evan out. They had shovels; why didn't they dig some dirt out from under him and slide him out? Or lift the charriot just enough to get him out and then drop it back on top of the rock? I was literally yelling at the tv to dig under Evan. Regarding why June had to assume Dr. Smith's identify instead of continuing to pretend to be her sister - I believe the commander on the Resolute removed all of her access. She had to steal Dr. Smith's coat and use some electronic thing in his jacket to open his Jupiter. Without her's sister electronic access, she couldn't have gotten in her own Jupiter. I don't think's its coming in Season 1 but I'm going to need some serious comeuppance for June. It's extremely unsatisfying to see her get away with crap over and over and over again.
  23. NutmegsDad, I would welcome either of your scenarios. I am hoping against all hope she doesn't run into a dark haired frat-boy douche who likes penguins. I haven't read any spoilers that she will; I just live in abject terror that he will resurface at some point so I am constantly on alert. ETA - Would it make sense for him to be at Ferncliffe? Nope. But when have these writers ever let that stop them.
  24. As others have said, they missed a lot of character moments that I would like to have seen; for that reason, I wish it had been an episode or two longer so some of that could be fit in. I wanted a Matt/Claire conversation. I also wanted Luke to acknowledge to Danny that apparently dragons are real. Finally, while we did get some interaction between Jessica and Luke, I really wanted him to a say after what Kilgrave did to him, he understands what she did. It's clear he doesn't still hold Reva's death against her and he has a right to be mad that she lied to him but Jessica's reaction in JJ1 to him forgiving her and finding out later that he was being Kilgraved was heartbreaking to me and I wanted Jessica to hear it for real this time. Also, Claire was my favorite romantic interest for Matt but since she is clearly out of the running, are we supposed to root for Karen and Matt after he chose almost certain death to stay with Elektra rather than leaving with the others and going back to Karen/Foggy? It makes Karen look like runner up in any future Matt/Karen relationship. Regarding Karen and Foggy's attitude towards DareDevil - I found Foggy's attitude more sympathetic than Karen's. I thought it was clear in DD that Foggy had a personal/moral problem with vigilantes and the fact that Matt was breaking laws rather than working through the system. He was also really worried about Matt's safely. Karen on the other hand, didn't have a problem with vigilantes or law breaking or violence, she just didn't want Matt to be the one doing those things - I'm assuming because she was worried about him but still, its fairly unsympathetic position.
