I'm glad someone is sticking up for Robin. In previous Robin/Patrick battles, everyone and Robin's mother, basically told her she is lucky to be with someone like Patrick considering what a stick-in-the mud shrew she is (I hated that period of GH) and she should take him regardless of what her issues with him were. Its nice that Anna is sticking up for her daughter and telling Patrick that Robin is worth it. Anna has no idea that Robin left because of Jason. Anna knows that Robin had a traumatic experience over the last two years; she knows that Robin loves Patrick and Emma, and that Robin left not because she didn't want her family but for important reasons that Anna was just going to have to trust her on. Patrick doesn't have to agree with Anna and if he decides to be done with Robin, that's his business but I appreciate that Anna at least tells Patrick that Robin and his family is worth fighting for - Anna should be on her daughter's side.

If you are devastated, though, you aren't really in your normal frame of mind. And while it was inappropriate for Patrick to accost Rafe in his ER bed, I don't think he was homicidal - he didn't even physically touch him. He got in his face and yelled at him. What Patrick knows is that Rafe, who doesn't have a license, took his uncle's car without permission, and while possibly high on drugs, caused an accident that resulted in the death of his son and the kid never stopped or even called for help. And maybe as a doctor Patrick should know better, but Rafe was alert and speaking - he didn't appear to have life-threatening injuries. I think plenty of parents in the same situation would get in the kid's face and yell at him. I don't think it is that out of the norm.

Oh ye of little faith, BestestAuntEver, TPTB are fully capable of destroying Robin without KMc being on screen. Just think about all the damage they can do with a one-sided phone conversation... "Emma's in a coma and you still won't come home because Jason is more important? You're a terrible mother Robin." I don't know why they couldn't let Robin be like Monica. She's still in PC, we hear about her but we rarely see her.
